Same, you just know what's gonna happen. X)
I kinda wished we'd see some of Yuugiri's past, but it had been a while since Sakura had any focus so it was still nice. At this point I'm pretty sure Koutarou is Sakura's brother or something. She's clearly special to him, though he didn't show it that much outside of chewing her out more than the others.
Also, Yuugiri, you need to listen to what people are actually saying before bashing their head in.
…Hmm, so only two episodes left, huh. That's a short time to set up an alien invasion and uncover Tae's past.

I think Kotaro is Sakura's brother as well. I'm thinking that he's either her younger or twin brother since she died ten years ago in-story and Kotaro looks like he's in his twenties.
Something I wanted to ask out of curiosity; Do you guys think that this show will be renewed for a second season? I wouldn't mind twelve more episodes of this show if it meant we got more insight on these characters, especially Yugiri and Tae.
The storm has now resided, the wolf now rests.I think it's more likely Kotaro is a kami, specifically the one that watches over the Saga area. It would explain why he's working to save Saga, and explain his variety of skills, and how he brought the girls back from the dead, especially when cremation is the norm in Japan.
Would also explain that weird ass scene when he got hit by a baseball.
That said,I've been busy with finals and have not watched ep.10 yet, so maybe I'm wrong.
A rose by any other name would smell as sweet Unless I grew it. In that case, throw it in the trash.Well, it wasn't a Yugiri episode after all.
I did think this was looking like too light an episode. So Sakura remembers now... kind of. I'm not certain how much she does. This makes me think that next episode will be focused on Sakura, and the last one will therefore be about The Legendary Yamada Tae. Other than that, the episode was fine, but compared to the others, a bit weak. It's mostly setup for Sakura getting hit by the truck and remembering her past, which is fine, but not exactly the best this show has done. Also, you know, it kinda means we're totally ignoring Yugiri's past, since there's not a lot of time left in the show.
Also, to steal someone else's phrase, there goes Truck-kun, still smashing more girls than any of us ever will.
On Kotaro, I'm thinking he's either Sakura's brother or father, or a deity asked to care for her. I'm also thinking it's more and more likely she has The Legendary Yamada Tae's brain, considering her head injury and The Legendary Yamada Tae's... self.

Alright, Episode 10:
I was a bit disappointed that this was not the episode about Yugiri's flashback. But even then, it was an alright episode that deals with the conflict regarding teamwork and Sakura in general. Initially, Sakura was presented as selfish but as she learns from her teammates, she then realizes something that teamwork could be great for her and I think that's the reason why Kotaro sent Franchouchou to the mountains. And man, Yugiri's slap was interesting and so does her geisha dance. But what made me scared is the ending though, seems that Truck kun strikes again. But at the same time, I feel that she'll regain her memories soon... What an intense cliffhanger.
"Making screw-ups and mistakes was I ever really good at. Because everything I touch went to hell."Yeah, this episode was a tiny bit light, I felt. Feels like we're going more orthodox from now on, which is okay, but a little disappointing.
I think we need a Yugiri focus episode, more than a Yugiri flashback episode. She remembers her life and presumably her death, and unlike Lily, Saki and the other girls, there's absolutely no chance of anyone recognizing her from her old life. She also likely never had any descendants, either, though that would be an interesting inversion on Lily's story. So I kind of get the feeling she's content to back up the others, emotionally speaking.
I do hope we don't get the Sakura-is-Tae thing, honestly. That would feel pretty cheap, and require a lot of explaining for why "Sakura" can remember things that clearly happened to the real Sakura and why she thinks in Sakura's voice. Also, what would that mean for "Tae"? Kotaro put Tae's brain into Sakura's body, animated Tae's empty body, and then lied to her about being Sakura, while keeping her old body around and repeatedly shouting her old name at her? It doesn't make sense.
It's been fun.@Red Savant @Sterok Oh believe me, I'm on the same boat too.
Insert a poster that tells Yugiri episode when
"Making screw-ups and mistakes was I ever really good at. Because everything I touch went to hell."Also, wow, this next episode preview is a trip.
Looks like we're in for at least a half-episode flashback into Sakura's life, as well as dealing with the consequences of it. This is probably an 'all the heroes have a fight right before the climax' episode. Other things include varying degrees of want
over something I can't for the life of me guess, an apparent indication that Lily's stars are able to be weaponized (in a shot that includes what looks like Junko's sleeping slippers but is definitely not Lily's), and a coastal shot that looks like it should be identifiable but isn't, at least not to me. It looks like it could be Karatsu, which is where Sakura's thought to be from.
Yeah... That would be jarring if the show would pull something like that. Just a speculation though. Although it would be nice if Yugiri and Tae's backstory were expanded in either manga or OV As
In the work page there's a Don't Try This at Home entry that mentions feeding dried squid to dogs. Is this just about wasting food, or is there a reason one shouldn't do that?
Also I wouldn't mind if we never know more about Tae.
It's probably not healthy for them. Dried squid is very tough and chewy, too, so I wouldn't be surprised if it was a choking hazard.
Anyway, Yugiri was clearly beheaded, and probably during the Satsuma rebellion given her date of death. I would guess she was killed by one of the rebels given that she was killed with a sword and not a gun, but that's speculation.
It's been fun.You mean for the show as a whole? That's what the trope page is for.
Long story short, it's about a group of dead girls from various time periods who were brought back to life by a zany producer to become an idol group, and we alternate between goofy zombie antics, classic (or less classic) idol stuff and discovering the girls' backgrounds and the way they died.
That depends on how far into the first episode you consider "spoiler-free". Especially since the show itself hid what it was about up until it launched.

It's... kind of hard to speak about it without spoiling it, but I can try.
It's about a group of girls trying to save the Saga prefecture with the help of a very eccentric man who manages their group. They deal with problems, both zombies and humans, and do their best to live as they wish to. It's also a horror comedy.
I can't really go much further into a synopsis without spoiling anything.

Episode 10
As soon as they showed Sakura getting ready to go for a run, and Ai warning her about traffic, I knew she was gonna get hit again. By the same truck, no less. You'd think they'd be more careful after already causing a hit and run before.
