A crossover between all the isekai anime probably ends with either Miaka summons Suzaku and ends matters, Makoto opens the Eye of God. Or the sun sets and Male-Maze starts tossing off Dragon Slave class spells with wild abandon.
The isekai genre may be experience a bit of a boom at the moment but it's older than most people remember.
@Knightof Lsama You forgot Kyo Kara Maoh on the list :blobrainbow:
Anyways, I can't wait to see how the shows will look like because having seen Konosuba and Overlord, it would be an interesting crossover ofc

Bumbleby is best ship. busy spending time on r/RWBY and r/anime. Unapologetic SocialistKinda sad it's gonna be a school setting mash-up. Still may be interesting.
Yuri fanfiction writer! http://www.fanfiction.net/~shanejayellany interactions you're hoping for in Isekai Quartet?
Bumbleby is best ship. busy spending time on r/RWBY and r/anime. Unapologetic SocialistAny interaction between Megumin and Emilia, of course.
seeing Ainz get hurt by Aqua, of all people, made my day
Bumbleby is best ship. busy spending time on r/RWBY and r/anime. Unapologetic SocialistEpisode 2: Ainz has to sit on the floor because he's too big, Tanya stands on a chair to feel tall, Aqua jumps to the right conclusion for the wrong reasons, and Kazuma is a remorseless snitch.
"Canada Day is over, and now begins the endless dark of the Canada Night."I love the Opening Theme! Can't wait for the Full Version!
The storm has now resided, the wolf now rests. What? Aqua was right for once! A broken clock is right twice a day and all.
Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession.Episode 3: Tanya's supporting cast finally gets some characterization, the least talented person in the room get invested in a talent competition, and the plot is taken surprisingly seriously.
"Canada Day is over, and now begins the endless dark of the Canada Night."regardless of who wins the talent competition, we all know who's gonna lose: Subaru, because being Subaru is suffering
Bumbleby is best ship. busy spending time on r/RWBY and r/anime. Unapologetic SocialistEpisode 4: In which two people have a lot more in common than you'd think at first glance, and two other people have a lot less in common than you'd think at first glance. Like, that scene where they're both late to school did a great job of illustrating the difference between Subaru and Kazuma- one's a victim of circumstance with a low opinion of himself, and the other's the architect of his own suffering and has a very high opinion of himself.
"Canada Day is over, and now begins the endless dark of the Canada Night."episode 4
the best part was Kazuma wishing to be in Subaru's place and calling him lucky, completely unaware of how much suffering he has gone through.
Bumbleby is best ship. busy spending time on r/RWBY and r/anime. Unapologetic SocialistIs the song at the end of today's episode a new song or a song from one of the shows?
The storm has now resided, the wolf now rests.i'm pretty sure it's a new song
Bumbleby is best ship. busy spending time on r/RWBY and r/anime. Unapologetic SocialistDespite the odd mix (two villain-sue power fantasies and then a deconstruction and a parody of them) I quite like the result. The interactions feel about as natural as you could hope with such a silly set-up, and Kazuma definitely feels in character, and contrasting well to Subaru. (Indeed, my biggest problem with Konosuba is that Kazuma feels inconsistent; he is more defined here.) Still, I wish they had taken a location more fitting than a high school. How about a more medievalish seat of learning, like a monastery?
And I guess I should get around to watching Re:Zero.
Stories don't tell us monsters exist; we knew that already. They show us that monsters can be trademarked and milked for years.Tanya is not a villain Sue.
And Subaru isn't a deconstruction.
(The people call things a deconstructions when in fact they're just well-written and avoid common pitfalls of the genre while being darker than average is a pet peeve of mine. Really Konosuba is more deconstructive than Re: Zero, what with the basic plot of that series being 'Aqua fucks up an idyllic world while Kazuma fucks up every chance at happiness he gets')
"Canada Day is over, and now begins the endless dark of the Canada Night."Deconstruction as a term is heavily misused, to the point where it's like calling a character a mary sue.

The storm has now resided, the wolf now rests.
As much as I look down upon light novels, and have generally ignored the "isekai" genre beyond Overlord and Konosuba... I'm curious what on earth these people were thinking and if this crossover will inspire more crossovers.
Becuase I was seriously just thinking about what a crossover between all the different isekais would look like.
