This is basically what you get when you combine "Scenes from a Hat", "Which of your avatars fits the above description", and the Avatar Association Game.
First, someone posts a generic character description, in bold, designating the start of a chain (e.g. "Gentle Giants", "Characters with long tails", etc.) Other tropers then post avatars from their galleries that fit the description, until someone decides to start a new chain.
As a rule of thumb, you should wait until a chain has lasted at least four or five posts before starting a new one, but you can ignore this rule if the game isn't moving.
Let's start with: Characters with fire powers
Chandelure is a Ghost/Fire Pokémon that resembles a chandelier.

Discord is a draconequus, who's a mishmash of more creatures than just a dragon and a pony.
Rancis may look like a party on the outside, but he's all business on the inside. He has bright eyes and even brighter ideas...

The "something that doesn't exist" from the Phineas and Ferb theme looks like it's a a unicorn/turtle hybrid.
Well, that’d be jus’ a waste. Why would ya want to deprive the world of such anomaly as yourself?

Pretty much everything in Berserk applies so...
The true power of us human beings is that we can change ourselves on our own.
Not exactly a werewolf, but it looks like one. And it has that creepy under-the-face lighting.
This is the main cast of Smile Pretty Cure in a self-imposed Test of Courage where one of the villains scares all but two of these girls as a Spooky Painting. In fact, this scene provides the latter trope's video example, and I'm its submitter.

I am the most suitable partner for Gaia. I have some bad news. You will not make it to Eden. This is the end of your journey.
