Nah, whether or not you get hit is still a coin-flip even if you apply Blind fast enough, so it’s not something you can rely on, and it doesn’t seem like an oversight since regular Jupiter could also be Blinded and the other High Dragons had a vulnerability to an affliction that their Dragon Trial versions were also vulnerable to (except High Brunhilda, for some reason she can’t be Frozen like regular Brunhilda can), so I don’t see any reason to patch it.

Well, at least in High Brunhilda's case, a well-timed freeze would be a bit overpowered, so I can see why if any high dragon has an exception, it'd be her.

I am really hurting trying to decide to burn what little wyrmite I have now on this gala or waiting for the lifeguard alt, the best summer alt I have ever seen that isn't Oda Nobunaga.

Do you have a particular need for a 5-Star Shadow Wand? Because if you don't, then save for Siren, Part 4 Jotaro!Estelle, and whoever else ends up on the Summer showcase with them (I'm guessing any two of Elias, Pia, and Lily, though I wouldn't know which two).

Look, I don't really care for whether the characters are effective or not I just like getting characters I like.

Hell, I eldwater'd Yachiyo despite rolling hard for Beautician Zardin. Now two of my highest-power adventurers are both light blades. And I don't care! I love them both to death!

Completely missing out on the 5* Blacksmith Girls hurt me though, financially and spiritually.

So you like Cleo enough to take shots at the Gala just because it's got a new Cleo? Well, she'll be back on September's Gala Dragalia (albeit she won't be on Rate Up, unless they do something different for the anniversary since I think that's when the anniversary will be), so until we know whether or not the Summer adventurers will be limited (I get the feeling they will be, but I don't think we can know for sure until the showcase gets a trailer, which should happen Tuesday I think), I would say to hold off. If the Summer adventurers aren't limited, then I would say go for Cleo, but if they are limited, then keep saving your Wyrmite for them.

In the meantime, you can do what I did and just burn some or all of your Single Summon Tickets and hope you get lucky.

I did a couple token summons, still no Gala adventurer has graced my game

On the plus side, I had maxed Veronica and Heinwald, so I really don't need Gala Cleo, I was just hoping the 5* rate up would give me Wedding Elly (didn't happen, but I got Natalie), and I did manage to fully unbound Liger so... it's a win for me, I guess.

Also, Void Jeanne is surprisingly easy. I've yet to be defeated once. I might get the High Jupiter weapon by the end of the week at this rate!

I like the idea of having useful versions of the core cast. If the anniversary is the next one it'll probably Euden or whatsherface the paladyn.

The best part about Gala Cleo is that you can see her ears for once!

Unfortunately, everyone is still taking DPS to Void Jeanne, so got to bring normal Cleo along for that. The upshot of having both Cleo and Veronica is I never get to use them in MP.

Thats why I do solo matches with her. Shes easier than Greedy Manitcore, partly due to lack of viable Fury Penetrator, but still!

She's pretty much the easiest of the Void Dragon Bosses.

Yeah like easiest of Void Dragons doesn't mean you can solo it (yet).

But hey clearly designed her to be easier due to lack of Dark Healer with Regen Buffs.

Well Valfarre is a lot harder to do with my wind team than last weeks. Wont be able to beat it since I don't have units viable for mister "Covers stage in purple lines so 50% your units will get hit...twice!"

And my favorite, water circles that damage you when you cross them!

I’ve found that the best way to deal with Phantasmal Wolves is to get to the edge of the arena. Also, kill any goblins nearby so your melee AI doesn’t try to cross the streams to them :)

i have no interest in any of the summer adventurers so i'm good to continue scrounging up wyrmite and blowing all the free stuff we're getting on the Gala banner.

speaking of, I managed to pull Maribelle who's been one of my targets since the game started! it also means i finally have a good wind adventurer. i also bothered to power level Melody since her 15% attack boost is kind of insane (plus i love her).

time to actually do some hard content with water enemies

Perhaps most shockingly, none of these folks are limited. That means a few more draws at the gala for me then :x
