Dragalia Lost

Sarisse hasn't got importance beyond the chapter she appears in for now. Her relevance can certainly be expanded later, but minor characters getting added to the gacha later will happen.

Yeah, but again. Sarisse is part of the main story. So is Leif and all of the siblings who we will probably get eventually. After this two-week event ends, Sylas's story and introduction will be gone and adding him will feel extremely random. And again, if he was intended to be an NPC it's very weird that he's on the announcement image.

Not at all, Cygames reuses characters and continues having them play parts in later stories. That's how they roll. New ones get introduced as well and the cast continues to get bigger.

Granblues Third Major Anniversary event that ended a storyarc had six characters, three new three major villains of its previous event, who are never made playable in some form, and are being saved for later. Not even the fact that three of them are evil and one is such a degenerate they don't want him in 1000 mile vicinity of children will stop this when they recently introduced Twelve Villainous characters including a Guy who loves mass murder as playable characters at the same time.

Certain NPCs can be in playable status limbo for a while so doesn't really concern me unless it starts to exceed two years in which case welp

and also his JP VA is fairly prolific so I don't doubt that Cygames would bring Sylas back if they could.

Did one ten-pull for this banner, got Laranoa, was very worried when it was only one rainbow amongst nine Rs.

Uh, does Cygames often advertise events with art of NP Cs?

And yeah, villains tend to be playable in gachas. Not that Sylas is a villain, but that's why there's a 0% chance we won't be getting all seven siblings plus Harle.

Granblue avoids making most villains from events being playable. In fact a good number die. Main story has exceptions, but also has some villains dying. Theyve even been having generic NPC designs for event antagonists recently

And yeah they do show off art of characters for upcoming events, like antagonsts, and NP Cs with distinct art who become playable later.

For April Fool's day, we have a Bullet Hell minigame starring Notte.

Hmm. Almost ten 10x summons thanks to all the anniversary bonuses and first-timer pickups and I didn't get Laranoa... I'd keep trying, but I learned my lesson with Gacha games.

I'll just wait until she's eventually available on a dream summon special, I guess. Even if that takes half a year.

Man I hope that minigame could be permanent though. Would be nice if DL has more minigame for diversifying the content but if not, I'm cool with it.

Having high-effort minigames that are only available on April Fools is a Cygames tradition. It makes sense to not have them be permanent, since the file size is huge anyway and it might end up like another Tap Battle that just feels out-of-place and pointless.

OH MY GOD AUTOBATTLE IS SO MUCH EASIER AND BETTER NOW. All of the changes were pretty good (even if the disconnect glitch was annoying) but that one stands out for sheer convenience.

Anyways, not try to sound complaining but do you think the game still has flaws? If so, then how should they improve them. The reason I ask this because I'm actually hoping that DL will get better at later future and it's understandable if the game has a little bit of wonky start since it's still new and I'm intrigued with a comment about someone wanting to make Dragalia Lost the main franchise of Cygames

Of course it still has flaws. Events badly need more level and boss diversity, the story is taking way too long to progress, and it's very very grindy to craft high-end gear. That said, I really like the game and since launch Cygames has undeniably been taking steps to address all of the major complaints that the fandom has, so I don't mind gushing whenever there's a huge quality-of-life improvement like in the last update.

The last two facility events is making getting weapons easier as they now drop 4-5 Star Weapons. Which are expensive in their own right. I got a complete Five-Star 1 1/2 Bows and Swords just from drops during the solo timed challenge so far.

Right now they're using events to expand the world beyond the story, and if all goes well will play a role later in the story in some form. Much like Granblue did where the Otherworldly Event antagonists became relevant in its second arc.

The 5* weapon drops have been nice. Having the option to break them down for materials is making building my high priority weapons a tiny bit easier.

Everyone: There's been so many big updates lately, there's no way that anything else major is going to be changed soon.

Cygames: We're removing Wyrmpints from the gacha and moving them to an Eldwater shop, increasing the amount of Eldwater you get from dupes and dragons, and compensating everyone with 20k water, 4.5k Wyrmite, and Eldwater for every 4 or 5* dupe they've gotten since launch. Active in two weeks.

Yeah, exactly.

Oh thank god, wyrmprints were my biggest bugbear about Dragalia's gacha

Not too particularly pleased about it being an eldwater shop since way too busy using it on characters for the moment but eh it's not that much of a roadblock

Man, I want to get a Dream Summon Special, but man are diamonds expensive.

Which I guess is the point.

That fire aura around Agni mkes the anti-skill Null weapon useless for sword fighters!

Thankfully I use some of what little money I had left to make the Aura Null weapon and kicked his ass with Xander

And because all of the other stuff wasn't enough, Chapter VIII drops in two days alongside High Mercury.

It's funny, I've been playing this game for months (since last fall, iirc), and I only just now completed the main story.

Well, Chp. 6 anyway.
