Oh shit! What did Ulmina's do and what happen to Gysoni... Pls spoil meh
"Making screw-ups and mistakes was I ever really good at. Because everything I touch went to hell."Believe or not but I hadn't guessed Myr's identity at all the first time. X) But yeah, rereading the chap the hints were everywhere…
The chapters are on Mangadex (I'd tell you to buy the volumes but I don't know if they're available in Indonesia…)
If you wanna know, Gysoni is a spell for mental synchronization… which can also serve to pour your own emotions into someone. Including someone who normally doesn't feel any. And Ullmina's miracle allows her to temporarity reanimate corpses.
Chapter 71… I'm not sure why, but I have this vague feeling that Ullmina might be a little fucked up in the head. Maybe it's just me.
And regarding the chapter before that surprise visit from Piodon to Diabal was pretty terrifying.
The memory stones lighting up again and that significant focus on Jill's corpse... Is it possible that she's still alive somehow?
Chapter 73: We're approaching the end of the Cyfandir arc, and someone here is gonna win a Nostradamus Award.
Alas, Jill's dead for good. =[ But not the kids, thankfully. Now I'm skeptical about the whole "Boadicea carrying Jill and Myr's children" thing… I mean, we're not talking about insemination here, it's a whole placenta they have to put inside her…
…I'm not sure I want to know the details actually. >.>
So what is the newest chapter in Radiant? Like so far it seems to be up to 83
The latest is 84, so there's only one more until the scans are caught up.
So thoughts about the new characters introduced (Sargon, Ininna and the Mesnie)? Hopefully Sargon will be more of a Dragunov than a Konrad. And I really dig Ininna's design. <3
As for the Mesnie… well, they have beautiful eyes?
I also love the gag of Draccoon incapacitating machinists with a fluffy hug. I wouldn't want to go back to work either.

Considering that on the site where I read it, the thumbnail for the series had always been Sargon, I'm interested to finally get to see more of this guy. Seems comical, with the whole "does not understand metaphors or figures of speech" thing, and he is from the same southern area Taz's family was from, so perhaps there'll be some interesting development there. He is apparently an Inquisitor General, though, suggesting the Inquisition has some level of influence even in the south, and he'll have to prove he's not a major asshole.
@danime91 Ooooh... I hope he doesn't ended up like frigging Konrad though although it won't be surprising at the end or especially when the latter coming back
"Making screw-ups and mistakes was I ever really good at. Because everything I touch went to hell."Aaaand they're caught up now. T'was quite a busy chapter. So apparently Sargon and Ininna are equiped with a brain and let the sorcerers do what they do best, that's good to know. Seth is indirectly saved by Jill, Doc is finally considered "useful" by someone, and we meet a new Domitor sorceress. Hopefully she knows a thing or two about Hameline.
Flippé de participer à ce grand souper, je veux juste m'occuper de taper mon propre tempo.I found it interesting that apparently Bome, grand bastion of the Inquisition, is also apparently home of the Domitors. Seems very conflicting. You'd think sorcerers who specialize in taming Nemesis and using them as weapons would not exactly get along well with the Inquisition, or really any large population. Unless the Inquisitors are using them as some sort of disposable weapon.
What did Domitor mean? I forgot <_<
Sorcerers who can tame and command Nemesis, like Hameline.
…Even if the Domitors have their HQ in Bome, I doubt it's a grand palace with a big "DOMITOR HQ" sign on top. They're probably well hidden.

It just seems a strange choice. Like, wouldn't it be better to setup somewhere in the frontier? With easier access to Nemesis as well as being easier to hide from the Inquisition? I don't think the whole "hiding right under their noses" thing is quite applicable in this case.
I'm looking forward to them meeting the Domitors in Bome, and getting some insight into that whole subculture of sorcerers.
A preview of volume 12 (coming out on August 30) is available!
So the Mesnie is actually a group of several characters… which makes sense considering the name. It's a bit less creepy than the idea of several people in one though.
Volume 12 is out. A doozie as usual.
Unsurprisingly Lupa knew Hameline, and she ain't happy about her demise. Like "I'll gladly watch her murderer be tortured to death" not happy. We also get to meet other Domitors. Who are literally hiding right under the Inquisitors' noses. Meanwhile, Yaga finally get a chance to shine… and maybe to die, because having corrosive blood run through your veins for an hour isn't exactly good for your health. Doc also gets a chance to shine, as much as he doesn't want to. And we now know that Piodon isn't the only sorcerer working for the Inquisition − they even have a title and a dedicated uniform.
We also get some nice Scenery Porn of Bome, which looks a bit like Rivendell.
From the Q&A, we get a few things:
- Ullmina is Vérone's mother, but not the King's wife. So yeah, Vérone is a bastard child.
- Answering to a gay fan, Valente says he'd like to tackle LGBT issues at some point, but wants to make sure the LGBT character(s) introduced will not be defined solely by that.
- Boobrie apparently thinks of Mélie as his pet human.

If you ask me regarding LGBT characters, I honestly prefer on the writers creating them as regular human being and that's what makes them a rather compelling character instead of well, creating an LGBT for the sake of being a representation of LGBT which is a no-no for me. Glad that Valente tries to think about this
"Making screw-ups and mistakes was I ever really good at. Because everything I touch went to hell."Hopefully he won't botch it. I'm expecting that character to be Lupa, honestly.
Speaking of which, the first chapter of volume 12 has been translated!
Aaand the full volume is now translated. With some Scenery Porn to savor.
Oh nice! Guess Valente really delivers haha. Anyways, I'm also going to wait for the second season. Heard its pretty dark no?
"Making screw-ups and mistakes was I ever really good at. Because everything I touch went to hell."It's dark in the same way Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood was dark: Very serious topics, treated seriously, with real death and stakes, but there's also humor and you're pretty sure everything will turn out okay.
It's not really that much darker than the Rumble Town arc, but it's handled more subtly I'd say.
Just finished episode one of season two. It was mostly a setup episode but it was a good one. I just hope The Brave Duet doesn't stick around too long.
The BD are just joke characters, you won't see them much after this ep (unless they add filler again, but I doubt there will be time for that).
Anyway, episode 1 was a warm-up but fairly decent. The Dragunov part was especially well done. I do find it weird that they're adapting this part of the Rumble Town flashback now instead of showing it in season 1, but expanding on Dragunov's guilt of not stopping Konrad earlier was very welcome. Actually I feel like the anime staff really like Dragunov… he gets all the best parts of Adaptation Expansion…
Also, I like this second opening more than the first, I must say (even if it's still a bit bland visually).

Oh man, oh man. That hurt. That really friggin hurt. My guess was correct, though. Though I guess it was a pretty obvious guess to make. But man, this manga does not hesitate to change the status quo.
