August finally untransformed as the queen was defeated. With a few parting words to Brahn encouraging him to keep the peace, he followed the others through the portal.
"We may have committed regicide. She was a monster though."
August listened in interest as the others explained their origins.
"I come from somewhere called Ventus."
As he talked, he summoned his Animus Keys and fiddled with them, the keys blinking in and out of existence quickly.
"We were attacked by the Ferox but we have the Zephyr Guard; they're not riders, just trained warriors. Eventually, the attacks got tougher."
August gestured to his driver, the very bulky unit attached around his waist.
"So dad built this thing and, well, nobody else was around so I used it. He'd have to dismantle it and do some magic stuff to change user and I was up to the job, so I stayed as Kamen Rider Natura."

Kenshi just turned to Yuriko, wondering what he could say to her. Simply squeezing her shoulder reassuringly seemed all he could do, but he hoped it could help.
"Well, I guess it's my turn" He said, after hearing what the others had to say "I won't say I am particularly impressive. I was fairly normal, beyond games of chance tending go my way and having a good kick" He chuckled "But Doc. Aoi, engineer, theoretical physicist and god knows what else, I think sorcerer, found out something strange. A warning of the future Dukeps invasion. So she designed the Leo Maker" He tapped his belt "While she was right on them attacking, it was... slightly off, a month or so"
Looking up, he continued.
"Me and a couple of friends were hanging out in her house, her daughter and I go way back, and she is close to my parents. When the attack came, we were all rattled, and diving for cover" A chuckle came out of him "I saw her and Katsumi running to a hiding place, a secret lab underneath the house. There was the Leo Maker, and several images and graphics showing the attack" Taking a deep breath, he decided to end the story "I kinda demanded for an explanation, and she told me everything, there wasn't much point in hiding anything, and asked me to use the Leo Maker to become a Kamen Rider" Rubbing his arm, he continued "She said it was because she could trust me, and, well, Katsumi is better in being the brains of the duo"
He laughed at himself.
"I mean, I was more or less taking the belt and going through the door before the conversation was over, or before she told me how to use it" Looking down, now he finished "I dunno if I am the right pick, but I wanted to reward that trust, to be the best I can be"

Toon:"Pfff... Engineers don't have the scientific knowledge of quantum physics to make a transformation Belt."
Toon chuckles.
Toon:"I mean most scientist dont even understand my pen works. And her name was Blue, was Your villian named Orange Red Or maybe Green "

Yuri tenses slightly at the squeeze, but quickly relaxes. "Thanks...heh."
She then blinks at Hawthorne. "Well...rude. Aoi's a normal name from Old Asia, I doubt a villian named Akai, Orenji, or Midori would be too out of place...?"
A beat passes. "Just...from books I read about the old world...I mean, my name's Old Asian too, so..."

Seisen couldn't help but smile and leaned back against the massive pillar that he had been working on before, his arms crossed.
"You lot make it look so natural." He chuckled softly. "From so many different walks of life, but you still make it work. I'm impressed, if maybe even a bit jealous." he chuckled softly.
"I guess it's just nice hearing voices in the Center again..."

"It's OK, Uncle Seisen! Even if there is no God or Buddha, there will always be heroes and good people!"

Haw:" People are people, Teacher's anagram, seisen, no what world your from. I mean I'm pretty sure you were a person once, if not a person then a complex neural map."
Haw thorn rubs the bridge of his nose staring at the ceiling.
Haw:" That reminds me, no one asked you where you come from, how you ended up as a Seisen instead of a rider."

"Well..." He shrugged his shoulders. "There's always gotta be someone to watch over the entirety of the Multiverse and make sure things go according to play." He swung his hand down and the massive map appeared in front of them all, showing bubble maps of various different universes.
"Each Universe has an end that's been established from the beginning, and to make sure they reach that end, well, that's the purpose of the denizens. I was chosen a long time ago, by the previous Watcher of the Multiverse. So, I was a person...but now I'm not entirely sure. That was so, so long ago..." He rubbed the back of his head.
"Kinda wish I could remember what it was like..." He paused again. "Being human...I can't even remember my old name..."

Haw:" Then go and be a rider, Be a person again. I'm pretty sure that book is a belt"
Hawthorn sits up.
Haw:" One of your oh so chosen warriors can stay behind and make sure this quantum entanglement of a library, and make sure the multiverse doesn't collapse."

"Then from now on, you can identifiy as my Honorary Uncle!!" she declared. "And I will keep calling you Uncle Seisen, and a good time will be had by all!"

Seisen almost toppled over in surprise and smiled, patting Nancy on top of the head as he did. "Thank you little one, your excitement is positivly contagious."
Then with a sigh, he nodded. "Yuriko is right. I'm afraid I AM the only one who can keep the multiverse in tact. Due to a special...special ability that only the Watcher of the Multiverse is capable of wielding, and also why it is also imperative that Geki never find his way here."

Haw:"This place from your description, seems to exist adjacent to all dimensions."
Hawthorn Starts rolling his pen is his fingers.
Haw:"It's Quantum entangled nature should let you send doubles out, If one of us stays behind, It should be enough to fend off any would be invaders."
Hawthorn looks at the rotating map.
Haw:" How many of the worlds that the collective has destroyed had their secounds and counter riders?"

"Most of them." he said looking up at the rotating map. "Each world has at least one additional Rider in it, so rarely does it only ever have one." He gestured up. "At this time, in the worlds that Geki and his men have ruined, that would be..." He snapped his fingers, and a large number appeared in front of him.

Hawthorn takes the bundle of people s and begins emptying them into various ink wells.
Haw:" thank you, the more I'm toon the the crazier and less inhibited I get, nature of cartoons and all, the more ink I consume using my abilities. Not to mention the physical and mental strain."
Hawthorn looks over at Leo, then to the map again.
Haw:"how many of you have met your second or counter, mine hasn't shown up and I dont know how many "artifacts" like my pen exist"

An Ordinary Oddball
As Nancy walked home, she noticed something just plain weird around the street that she lived on. All the trees had orange, yellow, and red leaves...but it was summer.
She barreled into the threshold where green grass turned to yellow...
...And found that the sky had blackened completely, with no stars in sight. A red moon hung in the sky, and it seemed...bigger. Five times bigger, in fact.
She was now standing in a pumpkin patch, surrounded by what seemed to be a wheat field. Hovering in the sky was a strange plushie
dressed in Victorian style-clothes, with a pumpkin for a head.
Directly behind the figure was a Tear. Iridescent light shone through it, and the surrounding "edges" of reality were frayed, as if it had been violently and forcibly hacked into existence.
"Has the little Seamstress decided to join us for a dance? She'll never again get this chance. Dancing and laughing forever, or getting peace of mind never. You'll suffer if you lose, now choose!" the Unraveler jeered.
Its minions, pumpkin-shaped pincushions, were the pumpkins in the pumpkin patch all along! Red, orange, and yellow snakelike sock puppets flitted about the wheat field. Clouds of bats covered the skies. They were all laughing.
The wheat was writhing even though there was no wind. Nancy didn't like the look of that. The only clear area was the pumpkin patch, where enemies were abundant. If she flew, the bats would get her.
Damn. She was pinned.
She took the magic needle from her hair. "Stitch, sew, cut, and pull! Henshin!" Her magical girl garb manifested and she was now holding a rapier. "Oktoberfest is still a few months away," she said calmly.
"Your choice is made, your doom is sealed! I will take the powers you wield!" the thing cackled again, and everything attacked.

Yuriko takes a seat and stops trying to find a book to read.
“How I became a Rider...I suppose it all started when I got accepted to be part of the police force of Gate. We’d had problems with Gaitians before and it was frankly getting worse...”
She leans forward and rests her head on her knees.
“There was this security company...Geist...they reached out to the precinct, offered some of us...power. We took it.”
She grimaces, as though her memory was soured. “They called it the Rider Program...ran countless experiments...some of us...didn’t...”
She lightly shakes her head.
“But anyway...I was given my belt...everything seemed to be going just fine and then...”
She sighs, angrily, “Gaziim...that CEO....bastard!”
