To be clear on my actual thoughts on the video: I think it's hilarious, with the first third feeling like a lot of self-parody for his sometimes melodramatic video style, the second third being a ridiculous conspiracy theory, and the final third John's delightfully insane Crack Fic.
Nach jeder Ebbe kommt die Flut. You laughed, now you’re gonna cry (and laugh a little).
…WHY DID I SELL MY GBA 15 YEARS AGO?

Flippé de participer à ce grand souper, je veux juste m'occuper de taper mon propre tempo. The story of one's man descent into madness due to their foolish mistake of buying a pre-built Dell PC.
Caddicarus Knows his pain, but arguably worse since he tried to Buld a PC himself. XD

Watch SymphogearThis shit is the main reason I'm even thinking about getting Steam Deck.
As SEW himself notes, almost all of this whole ordeal was his fault for making a bad decision because he didn't know much about computers. Point being, don't order prebuilts from Dell and do your own research with knowledgeable people to buy something decent that works for you.
Should have gone with Artesian Builds instead.
Okay this is hilarious, to me someone working in IT.
The consumer service of course is awful. But the actual technical side is funny.
I like that he emphasizes the customer service reps were likely just doing their best to help him in their capacity as cogs of a much bigger and terrible system.
Yeah. To clarify by bad customer service I meant getting ghosted by the dispatch tech several times.
The rest of the people by far look like they did as well as they could.
Yeah, he admits it's his fault that he ordered a bad PC, but the service techs never showing up and then lying about it several times (enough times that his warranty expired, funny that) is a customer service failure big enough that if he was in America he could have sued them.
TBH "If he were in america he could've sued them" is meaningless qualifier. If you're in America you can sue anyone for anything.
This video seems like a test for Patch to see if he can make anything sound super dramatic with his voice.
Flippé de participer à ce grand souper, je veux juste m'occuper de taper mon propre tempo. The damn It Follows score still gives me anxiety. XD
Kaze ni Nare!Okay… Watched it…
Yeah, that moment where you’re ready to complain loudly and angrily, only to meet the most kind and understanding person you’ve ever talked to, and at the end you feel like an idiot. Especially when you realize that kind and understading person has masterfully taken you to the cleaners. I’ve felt that.

Flippé de participer à ce grand souper, je veux juste m'occuper de taper mon propre tempo.I mean it's customer service 101. I've had that job. Meet the client by being kind and understanding, and for most people it's really hard for them to stay mad.
It's a trick that sadly some people struggle with.
You mean among the people who have to use it or those who have to face it?
Flippé de participer à ce grand souper, je veux juste m'occuper de taper mon propre tempo.I cannot stress this enough; If you intend to build a computer for the first time, please do your research first. Better yet, enlist the help of computer-literate friends or family if at all possible and avoid prebuilds, lest you suffer through a comedy of errors like here.
Also, Am I the only one who finds Eyepatch more than a tad... melodramatic in tone? At all times he speaks with a "This is the Most Important Thing in the World" gravitas that makes a video like this a bit hard to take seriously at times. Perhaps I am just sensitive to voices. After all, even Matt McMuscles grates on me in a "Am I being funny yet, gamers?!? " kind of way.
I think in this case, taking an overly dramatic tone is his own way to dedramatize the story, if that makes any sense. "Now that this bullshit is behind me, I can look back and laugh at it, and why not make fun of my own misery in a video!"
Flippé de participer à ce grand souper, je veux juste m'occuper de taper mon propre tempo. The melodramatic delivery in this video is definitely part of the joke. He probably wasn't having an existential crisis during this whole ordeal, just extremely frustrated.
Also buying a prebuilt isn't necessarily bad assuming you buy from a good building service and you know what you're doing. Mine was a prebuilt and all i had to do was insert the G Pu when it arrived, I've had no issues since.

People who have to use it. I've known many a helpdesk agents who panics when the customer is angry and are unable to slip in that pleasant mood to disarm that anger.
This week, SEW pitches folks the underrated seinen battle manga that'll "make you better at fighting" - Teppu:
He'd love Viral Hit AKA How to Fight.
