And thank you all for being a great audience!

(Let me just give a confession to why I wanted to place me and Mikan Kurenai from Grenadier as teammates: I have an uncannily specific obsession with anime females playing with balloons or other inflatables. ESPECIALLY if they're blowing them up. Preferrably by mouth It's strange, I know, but don't mock me for it, I'm strange. And hello? She's a balloon maker! She's the very obsession/fetish incarnate!)

To hell with it! Here's my team:

Team Give-and-Receive:

Night Shadow (Me): Alive: [1] Dead: [2]

Mikan Kurenai (From Grenadier): Alive: [3] Dead: [4]

I was 12 when I discovered her, so with a 2-year age-gap with my logic applied, it'd be okay.

(BTW, I have a girlfriend in real life, but this is the Internet, so can't I dream?)

Let there be many Super Breath based-fantasies in this round for me with her!

~Night Shadow Sorry, but after discussion between HGS mods we've decided to disqualify you from this round for intentionally trying to bypass the watchlist rule - making an exception for a lower-flagged tribute to be shipped with a higher-flagged tribute. Like it had been explained before the last season, characters will have to be flagged according to their actual age (while Mikan doesn't seem to have a canon age, you mentioned she's assumed to be "around 10-12", making her an orange flag). While one thing is forgetting to flag or just not knowing/being sure of a character's age (which would just get a warning), another is making up a specific system just to make it "ok" to ship someone (in this case the player themselves) with a lower-flagged tribute, and trying to get shipped with a lower-flagged tribute is not acceptable. Having known about the character since you were her age is no excuse.

And here's the save. Actually the arena events were re-enabled since KLS used a different save from Dave's.

EDIT: I just realized that KLS used the Clean Save instead, so here's the regular save. Again, Squick warning if you decide to read through it.

Also 5 spots left.

     Broken Events
  • As (Player1) walks by, (Player2), (Player3), and (Player4) pose as statues so as not to be noticed by (him/her1). (CN3184, set to three tributes when there are four. The Day version's correct, though.)
  • After (Player1) makes a crack about (Player2)'s religion, the deity of said religion shows up to have (him/her1) killed. (RFD879, RFN878; CFD and CFN862, becomes a situational kill event if P2 is a deity, as stated in this and the following posts, and this would cause long-term problems in determining the tribute's final kill count. This should be revised to this:)
    • As (Player1) makes a crack about (Player2)'s religion, (Player2) prays to (his/her2) deity of said religion to smite (him/her1). (for religious reasons, this will be blacklisted for the Troper Games)
  • (Player1) incapacitates (Player2), but (Player3) tells her to get the fuck up. (He/She2) doesn't. (RFD1737, RFN1739; CFN1716, set to two tributes when there are three. Also it should be "(him/her2)".)

     Two-Timing (Blacklisted)
  • (Player1) switches between dating (Player2) and (Player3) without either of them noticing.
  • (Player1) switches between dating (Player2) and (Player3), but they catch on and kill (him/her1) for it.

Is it possible to age me down to 12 for this? Because that was also the age I was during the most “active” portion of my life. Long story, before I turned 12 1/2, skiing accident, broke my leg.

[up]Check the number of events. The Clean Save has fewer because it has majority of the romantic events removed. It's a reserve in case running gets too difficult due to watchlisted tributes constantly being involved in them with older ones.

[up][up] The "Clean Save" is the variant where all overtly romantic and NSFW events are removed. It's designed to be used for seasons with large amounts of tributes on the watchlist, which tends to give runners a major headache.

So.... yeah, I was [nja]'d.

~Night Shadow

Looks can be deceiving. Just because a character looks like an adult doesn't mean that they are an adult. You have to consider the character's actual (or estimated) age and their maturity/behavior in addition to their appearance so the runner (and the other players) won't be confused. In fact, we had tributes before who had to be flagged lower despite looking older because of their childlike appearance/behavior.

Also, while Mikan does wear a bunny suit in canon, it still borders on the sexualization of minors, since you said that she's "around 10-12" or "even in her teenage years", which is a site violation.

In addition, requesting yourself to be aged down (temporarily or otherwise) just so you can be shipped with Mikan is just the same as crossing borders just to get around laws regarding the age of consent.

Fine, I see how it is. And at this point, I assume it’s not possible to age her up. And if selfcest is also off the table, then I can wait until the Valentine’s Day round is over. But I Shall Return for the next round.

Hold on, IS the latter off the table? I’d imagine so...
