They added a bit to Pac-Man's down taunt.

Going back a few pages - I think there's two reasons Marx is the final battle for the Inklings. One is, as noted, to cross reference the myriad colors on Marx with the different Inkling colors. The other is that Marx more than superficially resembles the Octobot King, the giant mecha that DJ Octavio pilots for the final battle of the story mode in both Splatoon games (including some of the attacks). Which I can totally get flying under the radar, because, well, Splatoon didn't have a well thought-out single player mode until Octo Expansion.
Oh, so World of Light let's you choose who you fight as your final boss. Either fight Galeem, fight Dharkhon or fight both
Defeating either of the first two by themselves nets you the bad ending where the one left standing just wipes out all the smashers. The third option i think ends up releasing all the spirits? Kind of an ambiguous ending.
Marx Soul from super Star Ultra also has a paint brush bomb attack that Drawcia soul from Kirby Canvas Curse had. That might be another reason.
btw, before facing both Galeem and Dharkon you have to go through a Boss Rush. You pick it by punching a bunch of orbs and you get to fight every boss except the hands
> They added Heihachi to Pacman's taunt.
I wasn't looking for Heihachi to be playable anyway, out of respect for the death of his seiyuu, but then again, Incineroar's seiyuu is dead too.
They can always reuse voice clips.
Some people take from this that, for some reason, Lloyd Irving is a lot more likely now. I don't know why but whatever, he still has a strong competition even among Namco candidates.
Lloyd got a Mii costume in the last game. That puts him ahead of a few of the other possible choices I think. I could also see KOS-MOS due to her appearance in XB 2.
why does a namco cameo on a namco character suddenly make other namco characters more likely
especially a tekken one
like maybe if he called that kid with the ball and string toy from tales of whatever it's called but this really feels like reaching

Logic in smash speculation has been lost for ages. The grinch stole the remaining part of it last month.
Besides, a pixel art in a taunt doesn't rule out Heihachi yet. They have let other characters be around their pixelated counterpart
All the Palutena Guidance conversations
I like how they refer to Sheik as a "he"
I like how they make reference to Nintendo’s long history with I Am Not Shazam.
I can’t tell who exactly Sakurai is trolling with some of these, but he’s trolling SOMEONE.
Most of those are reused from Smash 4 when applicable, right? Haven't gone through the video to see if they all are, but I'd imagine they changed Robin's at least.

Only Link, Sheik, Zelda, Ganondorf, Ike and Robin got redone
OK, that makes sense.
Aw, Robin's is boring now.
They should have just kept it the way it was.
Chroms all the way down.
We have all the Pokemon. Here's some interesting tidbits that I've found out.

Wonder if there's a challenge where throwing five Pyukumuku gets you a bunch of coins? :P
