Here's a France commercial for 101 Dalmatian Street. I would embed the video, but the thumbnail is very spoilery.

How could that be a spoiler?

Cruella De Vil makes her debut in the series

OK. Wouldn't an appearance by Cruella be expected at some point?

[up] I think it was under the consideration that this series takes place more than 50 years after the original. De Vil could have kicked the bucket, or too frail to even bother showing as an active threat when her nephew's attempting the role.

Considering this is 60 years after the original series I'm also surprised she's still alive.

Especially given how much she smoked.

Interesting since Cruella in the 1997 animated series was revealed to have quite smoking.

Namely she took up gum in it's place. Then ended that episode trying to quit that too.

Given that she’s acting like a ghost and mostly seems intend on scaring the puppies, my bet is she’s not real.

This is set 50-60 years later? What? I guess I never thought about when the movie happens.

[up] Yeah, I remember when 101 Dalmatian Street was first announced years ago. The synopsis caught my attention. Since it was taken place in modern times and the Dalmatians were different. At least they gave them English accents.

Holy crap, Cruella goes Knight of Cerebus hard in this show. The last few episodes have an entirely different, very dark tone.

Finally, now I can finally start watching the series legally! I'm seriously curious on why Disney's been very quiet about this show.

Maybe it's because it's an international production. I mean, it's like how Disney never really talked about Legend of the Three Caballeros until it hit Disney+ in the US, over a year after other countries like The Philippines.

Yeah, that's kind of weird, especially since a good portion of both of those shows' fanbases, or at least for the characters they're based on, are also in America.

Less of a problem for it than the revamped Ducktales.

At least the second season of the Ducktales reboot has the episode in the correct order.

Haven't watched it yet but is this the type of show where the order of episodes matters?

Also, I'm surprised they dropped the entirety of season one at once. Thought they might do weekly episodes like their other Disney+ originals. I know it aired on television in other countries but for the United States at least it's a Disney+ original.

It isn't, really. There's like one little real "story" arc and otherwise it's entirely episodic.

The only real exception to this is the last four episodes of the season, which all lead into one another.

Just got done watching the first season on Disney+ this evening. The Triple D, Dolly, and Diesel are my favorites characters of the series.
