- Gender: Female
- Age :Teenager "
- Appearance: That's her!
◊ Full body
◊. Admittedly most of her art isn’t that good.thoughThere she is when pissed of
◊
- Alignment: Antivillain
- Personality
- * Powers and Abilities:
- Heat vision: Her eyes create heat beams that can melt steel.
- X-ray Vision: She can see through any solid object, except lead.
- Super breath/freeze breath: She is able to push objects with a wind coming from her lungs or even freeze objects, with a lot of effort.
- Super hearing: She can hear conversations from very far, and some frequencies too low for normal humans-
- Super speed: Not as fast as the flash, nor as precise. But she can move fast enough to dodge a bullet at least and seem like a blur or the naked eye.
- Superhuman durability: She is not invincible. And in fact, she is a bit weaker because her body hasn’t absorbed as much solar radiation. Although her skin is bulletproof, explosive things like rocket launchers, bombs and high levels of electricity would harm her.
- Superhuman strength : Also not as strong as Superman, as her body is still absorbing solar energy. She is not silver ages of strength. Not by far. But she could lift a 6 Axel truck more less.
- Flight: The ability to defy gravity and move through the air.
- Immunity to aging: Due to her Amazon heritage.
- Amazon training: She is an expert hand to hand combatant.
- Weaknesses:
- Magic: It affects her like anybody else
- Kryptonite in all its forms. Green weakness her, removes her powers and would eventually kill her. Blue renders her powerless.
- Red sun radiation: It renders her normal
- Backstory.
Supergirl is the daughter of Wonder Woman and Superman, as such, she inherited the powers of both of her parents. In her world.
However, in her world, Superman went evil after the Joker tricked Superman into killing his pregnant wife. Batman created a rebellion, an insurgency, against Superman but was defeated alongside the rest of the Justice League.
Injustice Superman and Injustice Wonder Woman conquered the world and created a world without wars, but at the price of liberty. Together they had a daughter called Lara who was trained in Paradise Island.
Her rebellious attitude however made her constantly ignore and even defy the lessons of her parents Wonder Woman and Superman. However, due to her flaws upbringing, she views humanity as below her and sees nothing wrong in the powerful ruling over the weak.
One day when she was stopping a rebellion lead by Batman against her father's rule, she found the cracked's bracelet
Reality notes: She is not from the frank miller universe. Rather she comes from a variant of the Injustice universe. High chancellor superman and wonder woman conquered the earth and rule it with an iron fist. She is their daughter.
She inherited her corrupted ideals from both of her corrupt parents: injustice superman and injustice wonder woman. She doesn't do evil for evil's sake, however.

Make your hearth shine through the darkest night; let it transform hate into kindness, evil into justice, and loneliness into love. Thanks for registering interest, guys. Legend, you're accepted.
Additional Note/Extra Incentive: The Marvel and DC multiverses are expansive indeed, and often incorporate franchises that should otherwise be beyond their reach. As such, I am willing to allow Licensed Characters into the game if, and only if, they are officially recognised as Marvel DC characters. That is to say, if they have their own character pages on either wiki.
As it happens, characters from Army of Darkness, Astro City, Classic Doctor Who, Conan the Barbarian, Godzilla, Preacher, The Shadow, The Spirit, Tarzan, Tom Strong and V For Vendetta fit this category.
Hanna-Barbera, Judge Dredd, Looney Tunes, Star Trek, Star Wars, Thunder Cats, World of Warcraft and The X-Files do not.
Transformers and Masters of the Universe are explicitly said to have their own numbered universes, but since their characters are not on the wikis, they will have to be excluded, and/or replaced with Expies.

And a Strange Figure Emerges.I hope you don't mind if I combine some DC characters to make something...interesting.
- Indentities: The Flash (Currently), real name Jennifer Pierce, may start going by Lightning if she ever meets a more traditional version of The Flash.
- Description: Here she is out of costume.
- Personality: When it comes to everyday life Jennifer has a bit of a rebellious streak, though when it comes to protecting others as a hero she tends to put that aside. Although she's following in her father's footsteps she wants to stand out from him as a hero, which is why she calls herself The Flash after light she gives off when using her powers. That said, she still wants to be known and to make a name for herself. This is probably her biggest flaw as while she's serious about her work as a hero she's prone to taking unnecessary risk to get things accomplished and failing in her duties as a hero can often lead to her falling apart internally.
- Abilities:
- Electrokinesis: Jennifer can summon burning yellow-orange electric shocks from her hands.
- Electrical Blast: She can project bolts of electricity from her hands.
- Electrokenetic Constructs: Jennifer can shape her electricity into different forms.
- Super Speed: She can move as fast as lightning though she doesn't often do so because she can't run and fight at the same time.
- Expert Hand to Hand Combat: Has been trained in hand to hand combat though ever since coming into her powers she forgoes doing so.
- Electrokinesis: Jennifer can summon burning yellow-orange electric shocks from her hands.
- Background: The Flash is the daughter of the late superhero Black Lightning. From childhood she was trained by her father to defend herself should anything ever happen to him. Although Metahumans have always been a part of her world, they only became more common four years ago when the incident of Star Labs happened. We all know the story of Barry Allen
and how he became The Flash. Well in this universe Jennifer was the one hit by lightning which served to trigger her metahuman genes and unlock her powers. That was four years ago. For the next few years she worked alongside her father, Black Lightning, and her older sister, Thunder. That is, until six months ago. A ago her father died under mysterious circumstances. Six months letter her sister required from the superhero life, leaving her to take on their father's legacy alone. Over the past few months she's been trying to learn about her father's death. Recently she's come into some information about his death but upon arriving to meet with her informant all she found was this bracelet.
◊
- Reality Notes: Jennifer comes from offshot of the Black Lightning
universe. On the surface it looks a lot like that universe but there are some pretty significant differences. For one thing Metahumans have always existed though they have become more common after an incident at Star Labs, similar to the mainline Arrowverse. For another, her father never retired and her parents never divorced. This has led to her being far more willing to be a hero than we're used too and more serious about it to boot. It's also led to more danger for her family and more pressure for her as with her father refusing to retire his identity as Black Lightning is more wellknown. Ever since his death and her sister's retirement, people have looked to her to take their place.

- Identit(ies): Micheal Jon Carter aka Booster Gold
- Description: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Booster_Gold
- Personality: Vain and Greedy, but ultimately a True Hero.
- Abilities: Booster pretends to have powers, but in reality depends on devices. These include Brainiac 5's Force Field belt, a Legion of Super-Heroes Flight Ring, and The Shocker's vibro-gloves. His personal abilities included football playing and being from 400 years in the future.
- Background: Michael was born in the 25th century. He was a football star until he got caught betting on himself. Disgraced, he ended up working on the Space Museum, where he was fascinated by the exhibit on heroes from the 21th century- in particular, by Tony Stark AKA Iron Man. Stark had everything Booster dreamed of: Money, Fame and Women, and he achieved it all with a gadget suit! Why could he not do the same? And so, Micheal stole Doctor Doom's Time Machine, along with other items in the exhibit, to begin his "Heroic Career" as Booster Gold! He also brougth along one of the museum's security drones, which he nicknamed "Skeets" to help him with any information he might need. (Unknown to Booster, Skeets allowed him to carry out his plans, since its records show that one day, Booster will save the world.)
- Reality Notes: The 25th Century Booster comes from is home to many other DC characters; in fact The Space Museum had its own comic book series in 1959. It is not, however, the same 25th Century that Kang the Conqueror comes from.
- Identity: The (Fourth) Doctor
- Description: The Doctor appears as a young teenage girl with blue eyes and brown hair in two thick waist-length braids wearing this outfit
◊, occasionally with the addition of a brown fedora.
- Personality: The Doctor is a whimsical and sometimes brooding individual whose enormous personal warmth is at times tempered by her capacity for righteous anger. She is extremely unpredictable, flip-flopping between different emotions as if they were radio channels and she can't decide which one to listen to. However, she genuinely tries to be a good and kind person, and always offers second chances to even the most hated of her enemies. A little proud, a little humble, she doesn't like guns, and likes Jelly Babies.
- Abilities:
- Healing Coma: A healing coma was a natural process that allowed Time Lords to heal from particularly serious yet non-fatal damage without the need for regeneration.
- Regeneration: Regeneration was the process by which Time Lords and others renewed themselves, causing a complete physical and often psychological change. It could happen because of severe illness, old age/fatigue or injury.
- Respiratory Bypass System: A respiratory bypass system was a part of Gallifreyan physiology which allowed Time Lords to go without breathing for longer periods of time than most humans could. It also allowed them to filter out unpleasant smells.
- Telepathic Contact: Telepathic contact was a Time Lord ability to form a telepathic link between multiple minds for high-speed conversations and decision-making. This process has to be initiated by choice for more in-depth information.
- Telepathy: Telepathy is the psychic ability to sense and manipulate thought, which often manifested as mind-to-mind communication. The term could also be used to describe and was often linked to mind-control and certain types of hypnosis.
- Skills:
- Physical Prowess: The Doctor is an excellent runner, fighter, and a highly skilled swordfighter capable of taking on multiple opponents. Additionally, she displays exceptional accuracy with thrown objects.
- Miscellaneous: The Doctor could speak Mandarin and Cantonese, among other dialects. She could also perform magic tricks, and could judge character keenly, almost instantly knowing whom to trust.
- Equipment:
- Temporal Briefcase: This is a TARDIS that's been locked into a briefcase shape ever since its Chameleon Circuit broke. It appears as a brown briefcase with a sturdy woven strap for ease of transportation. Like all TARDISes, it is bigger on the inside, which allows for lots of space for storage. For some reason, it is currently refusing to work properly, but can still function as a portable living space.
- Sonic Wand: This is a sonic screwdriver with a wand-like aesthetic, and its uses are extremely diverse. Features include projecting soundwaves to lock or unlock doors, frying circuitry, hacking, disabling, and activating technology. It can also be used as a scanning device, with medical applications. Although it is primarily a tool, the sonic screwdriver can also be used as a defensive weapon, able to combine with other sonic devices to form a shield around a hostile target to either force them back or slow their advance.
- Pockets: The Doctor's pockets often contain large amounts of unusual items. Some of them may come in handy in certain situations. You never know...
- Background:
- The Doctor is a Time Lord from Gallifrey, who stole a TARDIS (or maybe it stole her) to go on numerous adventures across space and time. Sometime after her third incarnation died and regenerated, she was pleasantly surprised to discover that she had become a sprightly young girl, which had never happened before.
- Thus, the Doctor and her companions continued their adventures. However, during a lull in the action and when her companions were not around to advise against doing so, she decided to investigate a certain mysterious cracked bracelet...
- Reality Notes:
- Not much has changed, besides the Doctor regenerating into a young girl, the TARDIS being locked into the form of a briefcase (and genderflipped), and the sonic screwdriver looking like a wand.
- The Time Lords have a slight wizard-like aesthetic, but for all intents and purposes, they remain the same.

I wear the skin of the Elder Things, having come unto my own.The funniest thing happened today. I've been gone from the forums for a... good few months? Half a year? So, I came to lurk around, see story concepts, check out the rp's for a lark. And I found this. What can I tell ya, the nostalgia truck crashed into me. So, I think I'll join. I have no concept yet, aside from one of my catalog of Questions... but I don't really want to rehash old No-Face yet again. Anyhow, just thought I'd say hi.
It's good to be back.
Hey Sano! Good to see you! Hey maybe instead of playing The Question, you could Play The Answer this time.
[1]
Sijo, brother, so good to play along with you again!
I actually did look him up. Cool powerset and almost worth it on puns alone... but I actually have a character that I realized I was wanting to play for a good long while. Well a group
actually, but they're a good ensemble. It could be any of them, but with the team we already have I believe we're due for a smooth operator, a good Face for the group. I mean, Booster is charismatic, but he's just a dude. Expect my AU Social Butterfly shortly.
Edited by Sanojutsu on Aug 21st 2018 at 4:27:30 AM
The graceless warrior, wielder of the edgeless blade, prophet of the old religions, writer of fluent nonsense, saviour of soul and song.Sorry for the double-post, but here she is!
- Identity: Social Butterfly/Persona Grata
- Description: Don't hate her, she's just built that way
◊
- Personality: In general she's a bubbly, chipper trooper and prone to demonstrate affection physically. Forever an optimist, Social seems to take everything life tosses to her with a smile and a sunny disposition, even her own expendable nature.
- Powers & Abilities:
- Android Physiology: her body is composed of a durable alloy skeleton upon which artificial muscles and robotic 'organs' are affixed, along with a generous amount of Smart Ware, a nanobot-based material that makes up her skin and some internal components. This standard contruction for Project Livewire androids gives her the following abilities:
- Superhuman Strength: As an android, a Life-Model Decoy is superhumanly strong and possesses beyond the human limit.
- Superhuman Speed: As an android, a Life-Model Decoy can run and move at speeds that are beyond the physical limits of the finest human athlete.
- Superhuman Durability: As an android, a Life-Model Decoy construction makes him very durable.
- Superhuman Stamina: As an android, a Life-Model Decoy can exert itself well beyond the human limit. They do not need to sleep or eat, but can do so in the interest of blending in.
- Superhuman Agility: As an android, a Life-Model Decoy agility, balance, and bodily coordination are enhanced to levels that are beyond the natural physical limits of the finest human athlete.
- Computer interfacing: She can interface with computers, and computer-like devices either physically or wirelessly. This is mostly done for the purposes of acquiring intel or simple communication.
- Quick Repair: The nanites in his body give a Life-Model Decoy a limited form of self-repair similar to a Healing Factor.
- Black Box: Since the units of project Livewire are thought as expendable, Social has a 'black box', a hyper-durable data storage device to secure the information she’s learned so it can be safely kept within her in the case she was to be destroyed.
- Shapeshifting: Social's particular blend of Smartware is rather pliable, that combined with her skeleton's limited shifting capabilities, allow her to change her form to most humanoid shapes, even non-human ones, for the purposes of infiltration. Changes that are 'skin deep' can be done almost instantly, however, alterations to her build and bone structure take a tad longer.
- Improvised defenses: By compressing the Smartware on her skin she can create small hardened constructs for offensive capabilities or defensive capabilities.
- Combat Programs: While in no way exceptional, Social has been loaded with a comprehensive suit of hand to hand combat, and weapons training, for it to be used in a pinch.
- Enhanced Social Interaction: Social has been fitted with a number of systems that allow her to extract information and manipulate human targets, often times without them knowing what she did. On one end she can analyze and translate her targets body language, micro-expressions, and other nonverbal cues to understand everything said while parsing if it is valuable or true. On the manipulation side, she can subtly make the target more suggestible and cooperative with subliminal, infrasonic audio cues hidden in her regular speech as well as artificial pheromones her body can synthesize given the right materials.
- Background: Project Livewire was founded by S.H.I.E.L.D. as a means of testing the next generation of S.H.I.E.L.D. androids. These androids are based on the long-standing S.H.I.E.L.D. android, the Life Model Decoys (LM Ds), and the LMD successors, the Mannites. The androids of Project Livewire combine the super-human abilities of the Mannites with the human appearance of the LM Ds. The Livewires were eventually set up as expendable operatives with mainly the mission to hunt SHIELD operations and programmes went rogue, but are also deployed in other situations. Social, in her various iterations, was created as the social infiltration unit for the team, pitched by the heads of the Project as "The woman that can be anyone, waltz in anywhere, and get us anything".
- Reality Notes: In this universe, the Livewires never went rogue themselves, as such they were kept around as something that SHIELD could keep around in their arsenal, and could improve upon. As such many iterations and experimentations with Social have given her different powers than her main universe counterpart.
Identity: Mari Jiwe Mc Cabe/Lioness
Description: A wiry, dark-skinned woman who usually wears her hair short, Mari usually wears a light tan hoodie, black cargo pants and tan/black steeltoe boots, as well as black gloves with sand in the knuckles. Her eyes are golden and reflect the light. She also usually carries an old green canvas satchel in lieu of a purse.
Personality: Mari is fairly snarky and deadpan. She’s not quite come to terms with her power and responsibility and the pressures it will put on her, but at the same time she loves the idea of being able to fight evil and right wrongs on her own. Mari has never been afraid to back down from a fight, but she’s noticed that her hunger for battle has increased since she accepted the totem. Mc Cabe has an unbreakable confidence and willingness to stand for what’s right, though she’s not afraid to take a pragmatic route to get there. She's also quite aware of her beauty and celebrity and will readily admit she's a little egocentric.
Abilities: Mari possesses the powerful mystical item known as the Tantu Totem, an amulet imbued by the spider god Anansi. It enables her to channel the natural abilities and instincts of all animal life (even extinct animals), including but not limited to flight, heightened senses, speed, and strength. This effect is immediate, but she can only take on one animal at a time.
Natural Weapons: Her nails and teeth have also been mystically hardened and are able to pierce fabric, wood, cinder block and even soft metals with ease. Lioness can calm and influence animals-they will not attack her and will even greet her happily. She’s also able to know what they want to “tell” her, even if they cannot vocalize it (along the lines of "Danger ahead" or "Strange noises nearby" but not details or pictures).
Dreams: Mari is sometimes contacted by her patron, and he will often send her messages through the Totem or nearby spiders.
Combatant: As part of her stunt work for various films, Mari has picked up a lot of street-fighting techniques as well as a good amount of hapkido.
Background: Early in his reign, King T’Challa had to battle a conspiracy of Luthor, Killmonger, Kraven, Rhino and Poison Ivy. This team was sent to both challenge his kingship and steal/corrupt the sacred herbs to end the line of kings; failing that, they would destroy the existing crop and wreck havok on the fields and people of Wakanda. Though he initially resisted calling in outside help, the Avengers were eventually called in to assist.
Unfortunately, it was then that Luthor revealed his ace-in-the-hole: Baron Mordo, who managed to temporarily make an insane Panther God manifest and set it on the Black Panther under an illusion that he was Killmonger. Though the heroes eventually prevailed, the damage had been done: samples of the herb were smuggled out during the conflict, the faith of the people in the Panther God was diminished, and many people were slain. Killmonger himself was able to consume one of the herbs before they were destroyed, and he ruled for a time until T’Challa was able to retake his throne with the direct aid of the Panther God after a long quest to prove his worthiness to the banished deity.
This also caused a great commotion among the gods of the various African nations: If the mantle of the Black Panther was taken on by another corrupt mortal the damage to Africa could be enormous! And the god himself, one of the most powerful of their number, had been brought forth by a mere mortal! This was unthinkable. And so they turned to the clever Anansi for help. He told them, “There must always be a balance. For the fire, a flood. For a snake, the eagle. Those at the top stay there because they have battled and fought to attain it. A warrior without a challenge grows fat and weak, and a villain with no law a tyrant.” With these words he brought forth a small amulet and all of the gods present poured some of their power into it.
Next came the wielder of the Totem. The trickster god chose Mari Mc Cabe, a model turned movie star turned philanthropist. Mari also worked as a consultant to high society and occasional diplomatic cover for SHIELD since no government on Earth would dream of doing anything less than rolling out the red carpet for a real celebrity. Mari however wanted to do more, and she got her wish when she was visited in her sleep by Anansi, who in the way of the trickster offered her the power and mantle of his avatar before telling her the price: she was to be the servant of the gods, and especially their check on the power of the Black Panther, including his executioner should another villain take the throne or danger threaten when he was unable to respond, as well as to fight evil across all of Africa.
Mari threw the totem back in his face, declaring that she would be no one’s slave, be they god or man. It was then that the delighted god told her that it was exactly this spirit that had made her his first choice. A being who was in thrall to the gods could not call any of them to task. She must make her own path as a righteous warrior, and her mistakes would likewise be her own responsibility. He would still have tasks and requests of her, however. What would a deal with the Spider God be without strings, after all?
After a few missions on behalf of SHIELD to test her powers, Mari was summoned to meet Nick Fury on the Helicarrier. He had something to show her. That very morning, they’d found a mysterious cracked bracelet in their most secure storage facility. It was heavily wrapped in cobwebs that spelled her name…….
Reality Notes: T’Challa is currently unpowered-he was forced to use an adulterated herb to battle Killmonger, though he has kept this fact a secret for obvious reasons.
Thor is forbidden from entering Wakanda on order of his father Odin (part of an agreement with the Panther God). Hercules is likewise banned (which hasn't really stopped him).
No one has seen Aquaman or Namor for more than twenty years, and all expeditions to Atlantis have come up empty. However, there’s been confirmation from Sources that they’re not dead. Just…. gone.

Thanks to Mysty for the original Winter Soldier sheet.
- Identity: James Buchanan Barnes, The White Wolf
- Description: Here
◊, alternate pic
◊.
- Personality: For the most part, White Wolf lives up to his name, coming across as aloof and asocial. However, when "in his element", either among people he trusts or merely comfortable with his surroundings, he can shift to a charming and even flirtatious young man with a dry wit and an enjoyment of his work. He is also a true determinator who can and will withstand nearly anything to achieve his goals, and when his trust is earned, is fiercely loyal. He does show some moments of confusion and even near delirium at times, whether it be from the state of his mind or from other factors, but can usually snap out of it without much provocation.
- Abilities:
- Olympic-class athlete and acrobat: White Wolf is able to perform at a high level of exertion for long periods of time without tiring. There is some debate as to whether or not his abilities even outclass Olympians.
- Martial Artist: White Wolf is highly skilled in both unarmed and armed hand-to-hand combat of varying styles.
- Marksman: White Wolf is extremely accurate and skilled with firearms of all types, seems to prefer pistols and rifles.
- Spy: White Wolf is able to infiltrate and escape situations with ease, as well as deduce behaviors and reactions of other people and adjust his tactics appropriately.
- Durability: White Wolf has a high level of pain tolerance thanks to unknown augmentations.
- Cybernetic arm: White Wolf's arm grants him additional abilities, including strength bordering on superhuman, highly enhanced reaction times, a sensory array that allows him to pass through devices such as metal detectors unnoticed, electrical pulses from the palm, and a short-range EMP.
- White Wolf has no clear memory of who or what exactly he is. He knows that he has been an agent under command of a group of Russians dubbed the "Winter Soldier", sent to perform assassinations in the past, and that for some reason he was given an order to kill T'Challa the Black Panther along the other heads of Wakanda. Before he could eliminate any of his targets, he was fought to a standstill and ultimately tricked into a trap by T'Challa. During their battle, the Winter Soldier seemed to be losing control of himself, as he would become disoriented and unable to understand where he was before snapping back into his battle. After being trapped and captured by T'Challa, an interrogation finally brought this other persona to the surface, who had no knowledge of anything to do with his background, and only a vague recollection of a name: "Bucky". T'Challa chose to spare the frightened young man and take him in, training him to resist the Winter Soldier persona and become a new man... a "White Wolf." After much work and effort, the "Winter Soldier" personality finally seemed to be dead, and Bucky reclaimed his identity, vowing that the White Wolf would serve T'Challa and Wakanda faithfully in exchange for being saved and rehabilitated. As a gift for his service, T'Challa offered White Wolf an ancient bracelet that had been in Wakanda's vaults for as long as anyone could remember.
- White Wolf is in fact James Buchanan "Bucky" Barnes, former sidekick of Captain America who was presumably killed in action during World War II. He was found by the Russians and implanted with his cybernetic arm, but brain damage inflicted from his injuries and freezing left him without any memories but with his extensive combat skills intact. He was trained, re-educated, and brainwashed to be an agent of the Russians extensively, used to infiltrate and assassinate political figures and enemies of the state, as well as to train other agents of theirs as well. However, after three years of active duty, his handlers began to see signs of mental instability in Bucky, rebellions against his orders, and wandering away from his extraction points, which caused great worry. To maintain their control of this asset, they instead began to place him in cryo-suspension between missions, re-installing his brainwashing and fanaticism on each awakening to keep him loyal, which halted his aging and left the nearly-90-year-old as a seeming young man of his early 20's. Even with these efforts, however, it seemed clear that something was no longer quite right. T'Challa was the first man to be able to break through the defenses built into his brain, but without further action, Bucky's full memories will remain destroyed.
- Reality Notes: In this reality, Captain America died after ending the threat of Red Skull and HYDRA forever. Captain America's confirmed death caused a massive drop in morale among his fellow comrades, and HYDRA's demise left many would-be villains uninspired. By the time the Cold War was flaring up, superheroes and supervillains were practically extinct. By present day in the 2010s, there are still very few costumed superheroes (or supervillains) active, and the world relies on government agents and assassins to keep the peace. Wakanda is in the process of opening up to the rest of the world.
Accepted, one and all.
And now, if you're all quite prepared...let the show begin!
Roll up! Roll up! Step rrrright up!
- Identit(ies): Laura Kinney, Weapon X, Wolverine
- Description: Normal appearance
◊ (another source
◊) and in Wolverine attire.
◊
- Personality: Really gruff, grizzled, and jaded. Reluctantly heroic - she won't go out of her way to be some champion of justice, but would help someone tugging on her heartstrings or beat the crap out of robbers if they're bugging her when she's getting coffee.
- Abilities:
- Healing: Heals from any damage very, very rapidly. This extends to things like poison as well, but her body is always fighting off heavy metal poisoning from her skeleton so it's not as powerful as it could be.
- Adamantium Skeleton: Her skeleton is made of adamantium, making it virtually unbreakable.
- Claws: She has a pair of retractable claws in each hand, and one in each foot. They're very sharp and covered in adamantium so they can cut through anything aside from adamantium/vibranium.
- Fighting and Other Stuff: While not super-strong, super-fast, or super-anything like that, she's still phenomenally fit and healthy, and having unbreakable bones really helps out with throwing a punch or lifting/supporting something that could break your bones.
- Animal Senses and Reflexes: Wolverine's senses are enhanced from her mutation, comparable to those of certain animals. Her senses of sight, vision, and scent mean that she can see at great distances with perfect clarity, even in the dark, hear very quiet sounds, and track faint smells. And of course, makes her real good at fighting with her claws like some sort of savage beast.
- Motorcycle: She has a motorcycle because she likes motorcycles.
- Background: Laura was born at some point in the past. The specifics are unknown to her because the CIA wiped her memories at some point. At some other point she was kidnapped by the Weapon X program, experimented on with brutal scientific procedures and her bones fused with adamantium, though eventually she managed to escape. She's spent a long time drifting around the USA and Canada, seemingly never aging and always getting into trouble before spending too long in any one place. She reluctantly joined the X-Men at one point, but got over it after a while. She still has the costume, for some reason.
- Reality Notes: Basically a role reversal AU with Logan. She was born with her powers way back when, instead of being a clone.
Still thinks Scott Summers is a dick, though.
Since having two of her is gonna get confusing, just some extra notes:
- She has never gone by the name X-23.
- She is not a clone of Wolverine, she is Wolverine.
- Was born in the 1800's and looks probably 30-years-oldish.
- Never had anything to do with the Facility.
- I don't know how the fuck Sarah and Megan Kinney and company fit into things.
- Definitely not a fan of Cyclops.
- Despite being 5'1", her adamantium skeleton and claws is at least 70 pounds alone, which means she weighs somewhere around 170ish pounds altogether.
- Was born in... Canada.

What do you get when you fuse one of the Bat's greatest foes and his wacky expy? Well...
- Identit(ies): Slade "Wade" "Volleyball" Wilson: Deathpool!
- Description: Kablammo!
◊ Under the mask, he is caucasian with poofy gunmetal grey hair and scars all over his... everything.
- Personality: Slade is an oddly reserved goofball, who honors a good laugh and an honorable fight above all else. He seems a bit unhinged but is a master at hiding it...
- Abilities:
- Fourth Wall Awareness: Slade is aware of the Fourth Wall, and will often use it, either to chat it up with the audience or do things he shouldn't be able to.
- Martial Arts Mastery: Slade is a master of many martial arts, mainly hand-to-hand and sword stylings.
- Marksmanship: Slade is skilled at handling and firing many types of guns accurately.
- Background: Slade was just a normal person. Really, he was. Sure, he was the child of a single mother, but that's normal. Well, he always had a feeling of being watched. A feeling that there was a higher power, staring at him, purely for their amusement. Then someone killed his mom, in front of him ,and then the killer looked at young Slade and offered him an apprenticeship as an assassin.
"The nerve on that guy!"
In a fit of being distraught, he took the apprenticeship. He trained for years in many different stylings, all before happily murdering his orphaner and master, and decided to use this skill to fight crime!
"Yaaaaaay!"
- Reality Notes: This is a sort of semi-fused universe, where DC and Marvel either are fused or just simply coexist, and everyone has different backstories.
- Identit(ies): Dei Guan
, the Jade Dragon
- Description: Dei is not really shown outside of his dragon form, so here’s what I’m going with for his human form
◊. And here’s his dragon form
.
- Personality: Dei is introverted and usually fairly stoic around other people. His outlook on life has been hardened by the experiences of his past. Though he will do all he can to stop injustice where he sees it, he internally laments that the greatest evils of the world seem so far outside his ability to combat in any meaningful way. Things like systemic inequality and oppression, governments that kill their own people – Dei has witnessed these things firsthand and they’ve played no small part in making him a pessimist. That said he is still someone who does his best to do good, even if he’s not always personable.
- Abilities:
- Dragonshifting/Sizeshifting: Dei’s main power is transforming into a dragon. He can do this gradually to give his dragon features like horns/a tail/wings on his human body, or transform his entire body. Though he is strong in his human form as well, his draconic form is handy as it allows his to rip and tear things with his powerful claws/teeth. He can also increase his size until he is 20 feet tall, which he does mostly in his draconic form to extend his melee range.
- Agelessness: Dragons do not age, thus neither does Dei.
- Superhuman Strength: Strong enough to lift large vehicles and punch through walls with ease.
- Superhuman Durability: Cannot be harmed by small arms fire or anything lesser. Something like like an attack from someone with superhuman strength, explosives, or magic would be able to harm him.
- Flight: Thanks to his dragon wings, he can fly through the air at superhuman speeds.
- Flame Breath: Can fire long range jets of fire out of his mouth hot enough to melt steel.
- Heat Resistance: Dei is not completely immune to the effects of heat and fire, but it would take a lot to seriously burn him compared to a normal human. Something like a conventional flamethrower would have no effect on him.
- Combat training: Dei was trained by the army, so he is proficient in CQC.
- Fluent in Mandarin, Cantonese, and English.
- Background: Dei was the orphaned child of two intellectuals who were executed by the Chinese government during the Cultural Revolution. At a young age, he was placed in a re-education camp. There he was inundated with propaganda and forced to toil away in the iron mines. During one of his shifts, he met a wizard named Geomancer who said that the great and powerful “Dragons of Jade” lived beneath the Earth. Believing Dei to be chosen by these dragons, he imparted him with magic that gave him draconic powers.
With his newfound powers, Dei escaped the mines and did his best to live an ordinary life. With Mao Tse-Tsung dead and the Gang of Four arrested, Dei believed that he might be able to put his past behind him. They attempted to recruit him into the China Force, a paramilitary force of superhumans created to fight other superhumans that were now emerging around the world. Hoping that perhaps things were different now in his country, he agreed.
It was then he was given his mission: end the protests of a group of rebellious monks. No one could reach the monks because of barriers they had set up using psychic powers. Dei smashed through the barrier with his tail, and attempted to discern what their grievances were, and why they had become such important enemies in the eyes of the Chinese government. It became clear to him that these monks had legitimate grievances, and that superhumans were not being treated well. He eventually objected to his mission, to which his commanding officer responded by threatening to kill him unless he either forced the protesters to leave or burned them alive. Enraged, he punched him out cold.
Later on, he ended up joining Magneto’s Brotherhood of Mutants. he believed they had common cause do to their shared persecution under brutal regimes and the fear other had towards them due to their powers. he fought alongside the Brotherhood to right injustices against humankind, and get revenge upon the humans who had wronged him. As time went on, however, he began questioning their brutal methods, wondering if the violence they committed was really achieving the goal of protecting mutantkind. Unwilling to continue life in the Brotherhood, but uncertain where else he could go, he found himself in a dilemma. That was when he found the bracelet.
- Reality Notes: Dei’s personality was completely overhauled. He is much more cynical than his canonical counterpart, who remains content to serve China throughout his entire run. This has led to several changes, such as 3Peace, the nonviolent organization dedicated to stopping human rights abuses against mutantkind, never forming because he went to join the more militant Brotherhood instead.

Once upon a time, some troper was tossing ideas around for a good game. One of them happened to strike gold. This was the Justice Avengers, a play-by-post RPG founded on the premise of an Ultimate Universe mashing up the two biggest names in comics- Marvel and DC. Eventually, time passed and the motor ran down, and said chucklehead decided to burn his costume and end his game-mastering career. Justice Avengers No More.
That chucklehead...was me. So, uh, what exactly am I doing, then?
Well, my old friend Sijo started up a reboot the other month, reinvigorating the game for a new audience. Unfortunately, one thing or another, real life and otherwise, has prevented Sijo from continuing the craft. Fortunately, his game stirred up a few ideas in this head of mine, and put me in mind of things I really wanted to do with the game back in the day. So, until such a time as Justice Avengers: A New Beginning can move forward, I'll be taking any willing entrants on a trip far, far beyond...
...into the Multiverse.
So yeah, the quirk of this game is exactly this: you'll be playing an alternate version of one of your favourite superhero/supervillain types, and in the grand tradition of Marvel's Exiles, you're gonna be hopping from one freaky alternate world to the next, most of them combining aspects of both comic multiverses. In essence, it's a bit like AGOG Renaissance, if you're familiar with that, only you'll be limited to characters of Marvel and DC. Well, I say 'limited', but the big difference in this game? There are (almost) no limits! Go nuts! Go wild! Cook up any variation of canon characters takes your fancy. Mecha suit Spider-Man! Magical Superman! Six year old Batgirl riding a winged dinosaur and wielding a rainbow wand! Hell, you could even use the Marvel/DC canon to make expies of someone outside those two comics!
...well, just so long as you can make it work. That's the only major rule for coming up with characters. Think carefully about how they fit, in their world and the ones they enter. How would it make sense for them to become the way they are? How would these changes affect them as a person? How well would they interact with the current roster of players? What would they do when given the potential to roam from one alternate world to the next? And would interacting with others be easier if you AREN'T playing a slavering serial killer or towering mechanical god? Now, I'll be scaling the campaigns and threat levels with the characters in mind, but the better you frame your character, the more impressed I'll be.
Transformers and Masters of the Universe are explicitly said to have their own numbered universes, but since their characters are not on the wikis, they will have to be excluded (at least for character signups) and/or replaced with Expies.
Here's the form below, I look forward to seeing what you guys come up with.
