Hot take: I actually like Yoshi's New Island and it's soundtrack.Chapter 6 of TTYD (my personal favorite, followed by 4)
My brother and I had the Nintendo 64 port of the first game! I remember liking it, though I never got around to playing the second. It really is a shame that that series never got a proper conclusion, though.

Tbh I never really hated his minigames in the original, but they did make them better in the remake.I haven't played it, but it looks interesting
I haven't heard of it before, but after hearing that it has British Humour, I'm very interested.

I like how Ace Combat and Valkyria Chronicles do this, using fictional countries to portray fictional conflicts (heavily-inspired by real events, but still) while sidestepping most of the political baggage that would come with using real countries.
