Blues For Satan: Bringing Doom Metal to the 1930s - Interest/Signup

A five-man (or rather, person) Doom Metal band had just finished opening for Electric Wizard at a venue in London. They were about to get a few drinks, maybe a smoke, when suddenly, without a flash, a bang, or even a tugging feeling, they were somewhere else. Or rather, they were somewhen else. They had started out in the Summer of 2018. They were now in the Spring of the year 1930. So, they did what anyone would do in this situation. They had their instruments with them, so they got ready to play for the potential new audience they found before them. It was going to be a strange year...

Blues for Satan is a tongue-in cheek tale where you play a member of a Doom Metal band that just got sent back in time more than 88 years. You're trying to play the music you love to people that think that Jazz is extreme, get used to a world with much cruder technology that's currently going through The Great Depression, and fight Nazis. Yes, really.

In case you're wondering, the name of the RP is a Shout-Out to this song by a doom metal band called Cardinals Folly.

Here are the rules:

• Only one character per player.
• No magical powers beyond being tough enough to somehow fight off armed Nazis with your bare hands due to being an utter badass.
• Only five players at first, and they have to be band members. After awhile, I might start letting more people in to play as locals.
• No edgelord-ing except as an in-universe persona.
• Not a rule so much as a suggestion, but you should probably have at least a passing familiarity with Doom Metal (if you want to play, but don't know much about the genre, just PM me for suggestions. Or use Google, Metal Archives, or this very wiki.
• Don't get mad if I have to some Artistic License – Geography with London. I'll try my best not to, but I've never been there. Sorry.

So, I read the This Very Wiki article front to back, got distracted by Heavy Mithril and Comics Rule All Around Me, came back and skimmed again, and after all of it, I have one question: What kind of Doom do we play? I was thinking either Stoner or Epic, but that's more my personal taste, as I don't like growlfests.
