Mettaton from Undertale, most likely thanks to this fancomic. While I hadn't actually thought much about this guy before, reading this prompted me to analyze him and his dynamic more, and I really like how the comic portrays him as a complex character beyond "hot leg break an egg" gay robot.

Funnily enough, before I found EN, at some point I noted that Mettaton seemed like a character I could potentially grow to like, if for slightly different reasons (I tend to hyperfixate on non-human characters whenever I jump fandoms, usually on robots/mecha-like characters like...um, Star Dream, Alphonse Elric, Optimus Prime to name a few...), though at that point I couldn't really figure out why I didn't vibe with him immediately upon looking at the UT fandom. Probably because I didn't see him as a particularly complex or engaging character back then.

God has cursed me for my hubris and my work is never finished.

The Disciple real name Mical from KOTOR 2. I used to think of him as quite boring, but some fanfiction interpretations changed my mind.
