I want there to be two babies.
Both of which are named Dan.
And thus, the stupidest joke ever is told.
One Strip! One Strip! What I find interesting is that the school was restored (and it seems only those main three remember it happening). I recall that Gridman could undo whatever damage was done to the battleground, but that was when it took place inside a digital space. I wasn't expecting it to apply to the real world as well.
I wonder if something like that is connected to Yuta's memory loss? It might explain some things.

One Strip! One Strip!Definitely a fun first episode.
[[spoileR: I called out the Grid Beam aattack before he even called the attack. Love it.]]
Watch Symphogear
That depends. Since the destruction of the school was undone, it could be that her death was reversed as well. We can't be sure until we see the full consequences of everything next week.
It would solve the issue of how to have these battles without killing a lot of people.
One Strip! One Strip!Well, that was odd. There were parts where it was really leaning hard into the moody, mysterious side of things, but also parts where it really wasn't. That bit with the school at the end is great example of the problem— the school getting wrecked is played as a serious, dramatic moment... then it unhappens
Alright. Just saw the first Episode:
So our main character is an amnesiac boy named Yuta Hibiki has some connections with an Ultraman like creature named Gridman with an old computer and have a delusions regarding Kaiju too. Not only that, a mysterious person watches his movements. Needless to say, the monster is controlled by somebody. Alright, I can live with this premise. Series start of pretty slow but picks up during the end. The design of the monsters and Gridman itself are pretty awesome if you ask me. The characters, while they have amazing designs, they're nothing spectacular. Although I'm hoping that the series could pick up in later episodes. Also, the ending though! I think they were in Virtual World or something.
"Making screw-ups and mistakes was I ever really good at. Because everything I touch went to hell."I haven't gotten around to watching this yet but apparently there's a ton of references
to Transformers in palettes to just straight-up using a car as the visual basis for shoes
.
The entire Volleyball team was Ret-Gone.
Hope they weren't planning on competing this year.
As someone who remembers Superhuman Samurai Syber-Squad, I got some shades of Malcolm Frink from Akane. That girl truly lives by No Kill like Overkill it seems
It's not clear if only the people who are specifically killed by the monster are erased, or if it applies to anyone killed during it's rampage. We'll have to wait and see on that, but for now I'm assuming the former.
One Strip! One Strip!Well, that explains some of the first episode's odder choices, though tonal/pacing issues remain a problem
Akane seems like she'll be fun. I'm not sure what the point of keeping her role in the story secret for an episode and a half was, though? The reveal would have had more impact either towards the end of the first episode where it'd be more immediately relevant or after a few more episodes, when we'd care about her. Also the ED seems to be shipping Akane x Reika and I don't know why?
Fight was even duller than the first, so I'm not going to be watching this for the action

Oof...It isn't 24 eps like Di TF? Ah well.
