I'm still kind of wonder if they will include characters from Majin Tantei Nougami Neuro, Soul Hunter, Assassination Classroom, Nura: Rise of the Yokai Clan, Psyren, Boku no Hero Academia, Black Clover, The Promised Neverland, Kimetsu no Yaiba, Gintama, The Disastrous Life of Saiki K., Bobobobobobobo, Muhyo and Roji and World Trigger would make it in the game. Heck, I will be surprised if characters from To Love Ru, Nisekoi, Shokugeki No Souma or Yuragi Sou Yuna San make it in the game.

But as popular as Slam Dunk got, it's still not quite a fit for a game like Jump Force.

I mean, what, you want Sakuragi to head butt or head dunk the fuck outta Frieza?

That said, while Kenshin is in and pretty important, it might affect the sales as well. Watsuki new bad rep made it that some fans decided to go Principles Zealot and not buy the game because they don't wanna supply Watsuki any form of money.

Is this kind of boycott a form of upholding justice and morals, though?

The newest volume of Kenshin sold very well in Japan.

I don't feel like it will affect sales that much.

People outside Japan will still consider him a Karma Houdini and gets gung ho to make sure justice is served, criminals given absolutely no quarters.

Regardless it will most likely just be a minority if there is a boycott.

Pretty interesting tbh. I'm imagining that both Light from Death Note and Dakki from Houshin Engi can be the Big Bad Duumvirate for this game and both of them serve for the greater threat so yeah... Can't wait to make a story about it

What's really weird is that Naruto still only has 2 reps despite being Jump's cash-cow on comparable levels to Dragon Ball & One Piece.

DB got 5 reps, OP got 5 reps (still don't care much for Sabo), & Hunter x Hunter even has 4 reps. Hell the defamed Bleach got 3 reps giving them the placement of the 3rd most reps in the game.

Also weird Cell made it in in the first place considering he is the least popular of the Z villains in Japan.

Considering this game is meant to have a Global appeal, Cell's appearance here makes sense since he's hugely popular in America. So popular, in fact, that he's practically THE Dragon Ball villain next to Freeza (Since Freeza's the one with the largest fandom in Japan).

Huh right that is true. It does make sense, Cell is indeed popular as Hell here.

Could also explain even partly why Piccolo made it in.

Its pretty much known that the Big Three during the 2000's and the 1st half of the 2010's were One Piece, Naruto and Bleach. During the 1980's(atleast 1987) the Big Three were Fist of the North Star, Dragon Ball and Knights of the Zodiac. And During the 1990's, the Big Three were Dragon Ball, Yu Yu Hakusho and Rurouni Kenshin.

Yea, why wouldn't we need to hear more people complain on how Naruto's cast are taking spots from MHA, Jojo, other series, & other obscure series.

It's absolutely amazing how many times this whole "90's Big 3" list keeps changing. Regardless on how true the 90's "Big 3" is, I just want them to be properly rep. So far that's not the case & it'll probably won't be considering how many characters would have to be in the game. I can't see any of Saint Seiya's antagonist (whoever that is) be in the game, Raoh is pretty much a given, [[/YuYu Hakusho — Main Villains Sensui]] probably won't make it in over the likes of Kurama let alone Hiei, Chrollo's chances are slim despite Kurapika being his personal enemy & no matter how much I think Meruem should be in the game he probably won't be, & despite how relevant Kaiba is in Yu-Gi-Oh there's a good chance he won't make it in.

God I hate how much I can remember the cast of Hunter X Hunter & how I struggle to remember the cast of Rurouni Kenshin.

Hey I’m just saying, not even complaining, just pointing it out. Naruto doesn’t even have an actual antagonist on the roster.

And so what if you have a bit more trouble recalling the cast of Rurouni Kenshin? It’s an older property that hasn’t had a large-scale (aside from some crappy OVA's I heard) anime for a looooong while, compared to Hunter x Hunter’s show which was far more recent.

Oh wait Kenshin did have that successful trilogy of live-action movies.

Because unlike Hunter X Hunter I don't hate Rurouni Kenshin. I think it's one of the best Jump series there is even when it was deteriorating in quality.

Then the right thing to do is to stop hating on a series (because that’s just a pointlessly petty thing to do) & reread or rewatch some Ruro-Ken.

Seriously if you have enough time to complain about how you can barely remember the cast then you have plenty of time to actually remind yourself of them.

I can name several characters that could be in this game from Ruro-Ken. There’s Sanosuke, Saito, Aoshi, Anji, Soujiro, Jin-e, Einishi, Hell even either version of Gein.

Although I still have the problems with the author of RRK, I'm actually don't mind with the series being appeared in the JF considered on how hugely influential the series and I'd be honest... I haven't read RRK so no comment on that but even if the author is a creep, I understand how influential it is on manga industry and kind of warranted that RRK characters appear in Jump Force.

I wonder, what transformations do ya think some characters will get?

Like, we already know the transformations of a good chunk of the roster, but I feel like they aren't showing us everything. Both Yusuke and Toguro had their Demon and 100% forms in the last game, but currently we only know of Toguro's 120% ultimate attack. We haven't seen Killua's Godspeed form either, and it wouldn't surprise me if they actually gave Aizen his transformation this time around. Cell will probably have Buff and Super Perfect forms, similar to Frieza. Wouldn't it be neat if Yami Yugi had a transformation that made him full on Atem?

Yes, Yami reverting to Atem would be pretty epic. Feels like you just named them all. Unless Seiya has more cloths & Kenshiro still hasn't reveal his Musou Tensei. I can't really remember.

But why would Cell have them? Not that I wouldn't mind.

They already showed off Kenshiro's Musou Tensei in his trailer, and both Seiya and Shiryu have their Gold Cloths. Thing is though, some fans have been wanting them to use their God Cloths, so there could be a chance for those to appear. As for Cell, it's because he's already in his perfect form, and his Buff and Super Perfect forms are the only forms that are beyond that for him.
