Also, can a mod fix the title, Its supposed to be just Jump force. Not sure how part of mhy regular post go into the title.
Heh, my favorite part about Jump Vs was the stages. The way the all eventually crumbled as all the awesome heroes threw out superpowers. Hopefully this game will be the same.
It's funny that "Final Designs for Bleach characters" largely translates to "Designs a lot of folks won't recognize"...
Hope Boa is playable in this one too.

I think they are.
Even though I found the series pretentious, I think this game is basically Re Creators but with Shonen Jump characters for the plot.
I do wonder, since Spike is making this game, will they utilize reused assets from J-Stars to bring everyone from that game back? Will there be any cuts from J-Stars to Jump Force? I wonder if they'll use Tenkaichi and Burning Blood stuff too...
The prodcuer said that they plan on using characters that haven't been in a fighting game before.
And it seems like they are going with the versions of characters from the finall arcs of finished manga, or the most recent arcs of still running manga, so I could see part 2 kenshiro, Final Arc toriko, and All might during his fight with All for One as characters (probably borrowing assets from the One's Justice game the latter is going to be in).
I'm imagining Toriko's super mode being his form from Devouring his red gourmet demon and the entirety of Acacia's full course. Oh yeah.

In that case of using the characters current look I would have liked if they used Naruto & Sasuke’s adult selves.
Would have been pretty cool as well.
Also oddly enough I noticed that Goku only transforms into SS during his Spirit Bomb ultimate. He does most of the fighting in his base state.
Your image isn't working. Here's a working one.
I can think of a few more pretentious series than that.
I don't see why they would. Then again I wouldn't really care if Taro Yamada didn't make it back.
As weird as it sounds, Chinyuki is one of the few gag manga that has actual fights in it, so it wouldn't surprise me too much if they kept Taro. I just hope Bobobo and Arale stay too, maybe make Jaguar into a playable character again?
Like, what off-the-wall choices could Spike add while still going in line with their "hero-series" thought process. 50 years of Jump could mean a lot, and with their stages being based off real-world places, maybe the could look at other countries for what Jump series is popular there, not just pleasing Japanese and American fans, but all fans.

Japanese game developers tend to focus domestically than globally. Not that I can fault them for thinking like that to begin with.

That is true, but with the first trailer taking place in New York with a prominent US flag in a couple of shots, and the inclusion of Matterhorn and Hong Kong stages, they might be looking to broaden some ideas for this game.
Also, with Light being a non-playable main villain, it wouldn't surprise me if they added other series just for story-related purposes. The playable roster could focus on all the action and maybe some gag series, while the story mode could add characters from other genres like sports, harem or slice-of-life series. This game is celebrating 50 years of Jump after all.
Honestly the characters I'm hoping for the most are Kankichi Ryotsu, Gintoki Sakata, Kagura, Tsuyu Asui, Jakoh, Kaioh, Kurapika Kurta, Alfaro, Yami Yugi, Joey Wheeler, Youka Naze, Kinnikuman, Robin Mask, Arale Noramaki, Dr. Mashirito, Emma, Norman, Ray, Izabella, Senku, Ooki Taiju, Moka Akashiya, Mizore Shirayuki, Hinata Hyuga, Boa Hancock, Edajime Heihachi, Meisuke "Nube" Nueno, Luckyman, Superstarman (Who's also from Tottemo! Luckyman), Train Heartnet, Eve, Tsubasa Ozora, Hikaru Shindou and Fujiwara-no-Sai, Tar-Chan, Midori Makibao, Maeda Taison, Cobra, Yuuji Itadori from Jujutsu Kaisen, Kamado Tanjirou, Kamado Nezuko, Himejima Gyoumei, Professor Noah Minami Umberbach, Kogarashi Fuyuzora and Yuuna Yunohana, Oboro, Ikuro Hashizawa, Astro, Tiamat, Abaku Inugami from Gakkyu Hotei, Gin, John, Moss, Hareluya Hibino, Bijogi Taiga/Marie-Thérèse Charlotte, Teppei Ushizume, Kyousuke Kagami & Hakutenmaru, Kaito Sumeragi & Knight of Vermilion, Kurogane Hiroto, Prince Baka, Captain Kraft, Masashi Randoh, Tatsu Frampt, and Kiruko Otonashi.
I have joked before about having a "Team Gin" (Gintoki,Gin Ichimaru,Ginga Gin) before, plus have a quadruped in an arena fighter would be neat. Superstarman could work like joke-character/tank-character because of lack of powers aside from regeneration. He also have a throwing star and a gun IIRC. Tsuyu would be an interesting MHA pick, though I don't know if Spike would pick her over others like Bakugou or Uraraka.
I wonder if obscure heroes like Wingman or Hentai Kamen have a chance...
Tsuyu is one of the most popular characters of My Hero Academia, to the point where she got a short sidestory chapter and filler episode foccused solely on her. I could easily see her get in over Bakugou and Uraraka.
I would love to see Ginga: Nagareboshi Gin characters make it into the game just to have quadruped canines fighting against Japanese medias most popular biped warriors (The one I want the most is Moss due to his large frame).
I would also love it if both Kankichi Ryotsu and Kiruko Otonashi made it into the game. Imagine the conversations they'd have with each other.
Ryotsu's a given, he's been in ever Jump crossover since the NES. Kiruko would be interesting, though I don't know if they ever added short-lived series to these games.
i really hope that Kenshiro, Yusuke and maybe even Sailor Moon and Conan could appear as guest characters. i would also like the game to have a proper story mode.
Were Sailor Moon and Detective Conan published in Shounen Jump?
Sailor Moon and Conan are not Jump, though I guess this is why they mentioned "guest" characters.
Kenshiro and Yusuke are definitely coming back, though.
With Light as a story villain, I wonder if he's going to try to use the Death Note on Goku, only to fail to kill him because he wasn't born as "Goku".
Are they really putting in a serious or “epic” full story in this game?
Heh now that be hilarious if it happened.
Honestly if Light’s the villain he’d win easy cause he’s a highly intelligent person as a result of coming from a high-stakes mind-games thriller manga compared to everyone else who are varying degrees of dumbass due to coming from simply plotted battle mangas.
Hell Light’s the smartest member of the entire cast currently & their are few characters as smart or clever as he is that I know of.

Pit Light against some variety of Jo Jo.
I've heard rumors that Jonathan and Joseph are coming back, along with Jotaro and Dio. I wonder if Joseph is smart enough to out-wit Light...
Wait, could hamon be able to negate a death note killing?
Edited by Rinsankajugin on Jul 3rd 2018 at 5:37:57 AM
The death note makes your death destiny. I think perhaps only King Crimson or Gold Experience Requiem could prevent the death from landing.
It probably doesn't have much of an effect on characters with godlike regen as well.
Well, the main thing is that it causes death. I feel like it would scale to its target, seeing as it is this supernatural tool of destiny.
While the game was announced at E3, a thread never got made for it.
Time to rectify that.
Starting with new screenshots showing off Ichigo, Rukia and Aizen
now in their final arc designs for the first time in any anime fighter.
