Amazing! Its amazing how easily it was to make Happy a likeable character!

Just remove all the toxic things ie Natsu and Fairy Tail, raise him alone with another orphan and suffer a life altering injury, and become a cyborg.

It amazes me how much i prefer him like this.

I would have preferred something other than “Cause we friends” to a person they’ve only known for like 5 minutes.

I know, I know Shiki’s definition of friends is very simple but still.

You can probably just handwave it as synthetic lubricants or whatever.

A cyborg who can turn into a pair of handguns at that.

I recall that Negima used that explanation for Chachamaru crying.

I'd call this solution to the Time Paradox bullshit but it sets up some really interesting things with this Time Eater thing. Actually there was a lot of interesting information to digest in this chapter. Though the next one being called "Skull Fairy" doesn't really help with Erza look alike's look alike-ness.

Well, that was a odd incident, wasn't it? I admit, I never considered that past Wiess (sp) would join them due to the obvious paradox, but Mashima came up with a crazy way around it. I gotta say, the space theme is what's keeping me here. I'm curious to see how Hiro explores it...even if he inevitably Mashimas it up.

This is actually a fairly interesting explanation/development.

It's sort of the opposite of Clock Roaches like his previous series Rave Master's Endless. While Clock Roaches normally exist to correct a time paradox by eating a "wrong" timeline or time travelers or what not, this beast creates time anomalies when it devours time itself.

I'm liking it so far. Mind you I don't mind a lot of the things people hate about FT but still. I do wonder if this means we'll get more characters from different times now. That could be fun.

That's actually a pretty clever way of hand-waving away time paradox bullshit.

Huh... That's a confusing and interesting way to explain the plot of time travel. Is it bullshit? Yeah. But I agree with Silent Edge regarding this. And it seems that the next chapter will be fighting against Erza expy I guess?

Although it gets an almost disproportionate amount of promotion for a new series, I like how it's slowly but surely started to become its own thing after appearing as a vague FT knock-off. I'm certainly enjoying this more than early FT.

Shiki is the Warrior, Rebecca is the Mage, and Weisz is the healer. Think about it.

Elsie is actually a skull faced robot. She looks a lot like the Demon King. My guess, without the translations, is that she's Shiki's "mother".
