Maybe it came from fans taking Higo's love of barbecuing stuff (From her Stigmata stories, and the opening video of the Jizo Matama Raid) and running away with it? Or how she's kind of a cute animal friend, making her prime bait for "Pet as emergency food" jokes

I heard that Global version has the "Formals" stig set? (Higo, Seele, Cecilia)

Why doesn't SEA have them?

PC port coming December 26 on Global (NA/EU), features cross-play with mobile too.

What about SEA Region? When is the PC port coming?

Something came up in r/houkai3rd, and I was going to add it to the game's page but I want to verify it...do the Valkyries' suits change from server to server to alter the amount of fanservice? Someone posted an on-the-bridge pic of Shadow Knight Fu Hua where the bodysuit part of the outfit was gone, and when I asked, a commenter said that it was on a server aside from Global. Is this true?

Can I see a picture of it?

If it is, I'm pretty sure this was someone editing the Shadow Knight suit. I'm in SEA, so I could confirm that Shadow Knight has the same outfit as Global over here at least.

The reasonable answer is: In their initial rush to get SEA on track with the JP server, they skipped the Reburn event along with the stigs. They probably don't know how to properly bring them in for one region since said Event was many versions ago.

The not so reasonable answer is: Screw their reasons, I just want Kiana and Theresa interacting with Cecilia in the dorms, dammit!

What about SEA Region? When is the PC port coming?

PC for SEA is coming in Q1 2020. I'm guessing Global was a priority since NA/EU is not as big on mobile games as the rest of the world, and thus has the biggest potential of a PC Port leading to a large increase of new players.

Yep, that was it...my first thought was that it was an edit but the comment about it being an uncensored version had me wondering.

I vaguely remember an event where Otto is making a mapo tofu for Theresa, but I forgot which event it was. Anybody help?

That was probably the Valkyries' Spring Feast event, where Otto turned out to be the reason why Teri Teri was suddenly able to cook gourmet food during the Valkyries' cooking contest.

Anybody know where I can read Mei's backstory/past? Preferably an official source because it seems like I can't find it.

Let's see, from what I know:

- The Escape from Nagazora manga has a few chapters that gives Mei's background This chapter includes an info blurb on Mei, and the chapter after that includes the scene where Mei gets the bomb implanted near her heart

- The AE Invasion manga includes some history of Mei's awakening as a Herrscher

- Chapter 4 of the game delves a bit into Mei's background, such as how Cocolia framed her father to take control of ME Corp.

...Huh, for someone advertised as one of the main trio, Mei doesn't really get much material compared to the other Valkyries (Who at least got one story chapter, chronicles side story, manga volume, or visual novel where they serve as the main character)

No wonder she's some events have her complaining about being an Advertised Extra :p

Such a great contrast to the greatest scientist - and, probably, the greatest woman - of the Previous Era lol.

There might be a good reason why we only see Mei as the returning character in "Honkai Aftermath"...

And even in Honkai Aftermath, she's still just a secondary character to the player's self insert character based on what we know so far. One has to wonder if miHoYo's doing this on purpose now

nah, she's now the new principal and the self-insert guy is under her

And the self-insert guy is ultimately a way for us players to interact with the Honkai world or sth, I dunno if he would impact the story

So I downloaded the PC version of Honkai Impact 3rd (or is that Honkai 3rd Impact…?) and was preparing to have fun but… the game stays stuck at the "loading the settings" screen. Is there something wrong or am I actually supposed to stare at the loading bar for over an hour before I can play?

Depends on your internet connection (i.e how many kbps it can run)

I'm not sure it's that. The loading bar progresses smoothly and quickly at first◊, but then around 2/3 of the way◊ it just… stops. With the background elevator animation still running.

Could it be some corrupted file? You may wanna try reinstall it.

I tried to delete and redownload the whole thing but still no luck. =[

Sooo… problem solved. Turns out the game doesn't work if your computer's regional format is French. For some reason. I put it on "UK" and it works.

I'll have to buy a pad though, because gosh this is a pain with a keyboard.

(also, after 5 minutes of gameplay I already hope they have Bayonetta as a hidden character.)

So I noticed some companies been making their own version of Honkai like this one from another Chinese game studio.

And......this one from Japan based on a.......Uhhh....I got no words to say about this but just a Flat "What".

Well, it's a popular mobile game that's still making lots of money after 3 years, so it's not surprising that Follow the Leader took effect.

Huh... I imagine the meeting that led to this involved a Powerpoint presentation with Fate/Grand Order in one slide and Honkai Impact in another.
