"It is said that God formed the world in six days, making everything out of nothing. Evening, morning, the heavens, the earth, the sea- all that was in them. And then Mankind in His own image..."

The idle thought drifted out from a being that floated in the void between time and space, the lone anchor of static stability in the midst of the chaotically churning energies that separated the various dimensions and planes of realities from each other. Holding hands aloft, the being clenched and wrenched whilst straining against the nigh impossible action of artificially creating a true world not beholden to one of the greater realms that filled up the endless sea that people dubbed the Multiverse.

Essence overflowing and spirit waning, the being couldn't help but let out a small smile as he saw a faint outline superimpose itself in this particular stretch of near reality, rapidly shifting between a multitude of various frameworks before slowing down and filling with both solidity and color. And yet the more corporeal its construct became, the faster the being became immaterial.

"I am not God. I cannot create something from nothing. For this endeavor, a great price I must pay... and yet, there are no regrets in doing so..."

It was with the greatest satisfactions that the being's body was rendered into ashes that promptly dispersed from the powerful forces of chaotic energies, their soul drawn into and bound into the Magnum Opus of their incredibly long life. Sinking into the new world, feeling its very being taking root and being shackled into its project, contentment abounded even as the the great construct slowly stirred from inactivity.

No longer merely a shell or a simple object, it was now imbued with life itself, truly alive. The power this vessel had was great, its responsibilities just as much. And thus began the Frontiers, a haven for those that had nothing else and wished for a fresh start... or perhaps a purgatory for those that were aweigh with responsibilities and commitments.

Yet another spinoff to the stupidly long-lasting A Game of Gods series, Frontiers is going to be a testbed for what was tried and true- that of a world building sandbox simulator crossover game that takes its cues from the older games on this boards; especially the Multi Massive Fandom series.

This new world will be a weird mish-mash of transplanted locales from both established media as well as more original creations, with supplies being plentiful and infrastructure just needing a quick fix up to get to working in proper order... or to be used to craft things wholly unintended. We're not quite starting at sticks and stones levels seeing as there will be plenty of finished products and modern amenities to go around so the meat of the game would be in the freedom of crafting a society whole cloth.

The key points of the game are geared towards character interactions between players as well as societal rebuilding to a certain degree, whereupon player characters are aided by various NPC units to help tame the lands with the random assortment of materials and structures that will periodically be ported in the constantly expanding world. Likewise, there are plenty of threats that abounds that can would have to be dealt with to keep what you've accomplished safe, though even then you have the freedom to either fight/tame/negotiate/ally with the opposition should you want.

Would your characters want to help the NPC masses reclaim land to further their communities? Fight the hordes of ne'er-do-wells intent on taking lives and supplies from the honest workers? Negotiate treaties and alliances between fellow players? Or even wage a one person war against the world at large?

Construct laboratories in the middle of nowhere to conduct MAD SCIENCE? Maybe even a chain of fast food restaurants to build a business empire emboldened by grease and minimum wage workers? The possibilities are nigh endless, though do keep in mind that actions might carry possible consequences and there will be reactions good and bad to certain actions to attempt to keep the game organic.

Probably for ease of imagination you can think of Frontiers as a freakish mashup of Animal Crossing, Civilization, Age Of Empires, and Harvest Moon plus whatever sort of crazy franchises you pull your characters from.

SIGNUP SHEET

  • Name:
  • Age:
  • Appearance: Link to photos or pictures preferred, though a sufficiently detailed text description would also suffice.
  • Universe: Work or media the characters come from.
  • Personality:
  • Backstory:
  • Powers/Abilities: Things that your character can do that are often supernatural in scope. The GM holds the right to nerf or outright veto any particular power/ability that could feasibly break the balance of the game such as mind control, time stop, unlimited telekinesis/teleportation, Superman tier super strength, and any other such examples deemed either inappropriate or in need of weakening.
  • Skills: Things your character can do without needing supernatural assistance i.e. martial arts, knowing how to construct things, etc.
  • Equipment: What do they have on hand?
  • Canon/Fanon: I've decided to be more receptive of fanon characters after seeing how much fun people were having with them in Renaissance so if one decides to use an AU interpretation for canon characters, please pick 'fanon' and give a small list of the changes that happens to them. People who choose to use canon characters with no changes can just pick 'canon'. Pick-a-backstory-build-a-characters in the vein of Commander Shepard from Mass Effect and the Warrior of Light from Final Fantasy 14 are also allowed. Original Characters are going to be vetoed completely because first and foremost this is a crossover game.
  • Territory/Followers: No one is going to have this right off the bat but it'll be something that anyone can achieve given enough time and effort. Territory corresponds to property that has been claimed by certain character(s) under their owner/stewardship, with a particular example being say... the Animal Crossing Villager having a house. Follower on the other hand are NPC units that willingly (or not) follow a PC through either contract, employment, strong-arming, etc to help further their goals and act in their interests. For characters that have just entered the game, leave this blank unless they somehow have the ability to summon beings to aid them.

  • Name:Goro Majima
  • Age:46
  • Appearence:He's got a great shit eating grin
  • Universe: The Yakuza Series
  • Backstory
    • Little is known of Majima's early history, even among his closest peers, and he rarely speaks of his past in any detail. What is known is at some point in the late 80s, Majima emerged in Kamurocho, swiftly making a name for himself as the "Mad Dog of Shimano". Finding a personal rival in the form of Kiyru Kazuma, Goro spend considerable time challenging his rival in many ways.
    • Eventually, events within the Tojo Clan led Majima to take his personal forces, the Majima Family, and leave the Tojo Clan, establishing itself as a legitimate construction company. Later, he would be convinced to rejoin, and he swiftly became one of the most powerful men in Kamurocho. Seemingly content at his current position, he would continue to play a supporting role until suddenly he found himself in a new city without warning.
  • Personality
    • What on the surface appears to be a wild and unpredictable madman, befitting his title of the "Mad Dog of Shimano", Goro Majima is a deeply complex individual. At his core, Majima remains cool and collected in any given situation. Strangers, particularly women and children, he treats with the utmost respect. Yet, he will not hesitate to brutally beat his own men for seemingly trifling matters However, he maintains a natural charisma and talent for business and leadership that ensures those same men remain loyal to him practically to the death.
    • In a world where changing values have caused the Yakuza to value money over wealth, Majima is one of the few who maintain the old ways of the Yakuza. Despite his many successes having granted him no small degree of power and personal wealth in the Tojo clan, Majima places far more value on personal, physical power over wealth. This has led him to adopt his own personal code of honor, where he seeks out worthy foes to challenge to grow stronger. Those who place value only on material goods without the power to back it up, or those who exploit the clearly inferior or innocent, earn only his sworn, as he believes only worthy challenges make one stronger.
  • Powers/Abilties
    • Heat Mode:After taking severe damage, Majima can enter a state of highened awareness, shown by a purple, flame like aura spreading around him. In this state, Majima's already impressive speed increases further, causing him to attain near superhuman levels of speed, although he of course won't be able to duck out of the way of all attacks and will generally still be slow enough to see and react to, so long as one acts quickly.
    • Shadow Clones: Majima can create up to a total of 3 shadowy dopplegangers. When he preforms this move, he is also cloaked in a shadow like state. Each shadow seemingly acts independently, and can all deal damage if attacks connect. However, each shadow falls in a single hit. Should Majima himself be struck while shadows are still active, they will all instantly vanish. There is a subtle difference between the shadows themselves and Majima that keen eyed opponents might be able to see, Majima himself still visibly has his shirt on, while the shadows are clearly shirtless. (Note-I have 0 problems if you'd prefer I drop this power, I plan to have him use it in an upcoming fight during the challenge but I can very easily just never have him display it after that if you don't want to approve this power)
  • Skills
    • Hand to hand combat skill: Over his many years of fighting, Majima has created for himself a number of fighting styles which he uses.
      • Mad Dog:His most famous style, the Mad Dog style, makes extensive use of a Tanto (Basically a small dagger) to slash and stab at foes. He maintains a high level of agility in this style, making extensive use of seemingly random jumps, kicks, jukes and other moves to throw his opponent off balance and force them on the defensive. Despite the seemingly high risk of killing someone with such a style, Majima has never actually been seen killing a man with this form of combat.
      • Thug:Majima's basic hand to hand style when he elects not to use his knife, this is a balanced form of combat focused around using dirty tricks to gain the upper hand. Eye pokes, throwing dirt, kicking enemies in the shins and balls, nothing is off limits to the Mad Dog.
      • Breaker: A form of combat focused around, of all things, break dancing. In this form, Majima almost never uses his hands, focusing on swift kicks which look very much like dance moves, augmented by him dropping on the floor or doing a handstand and turning himself into a whiling twister of feet and pain.
      • Slugger: A form of combat focused around the use of a baseball bat, a favored pastime of Majima's, this form of combat forgoes his usual swiftness in return for sheer power. While he is far from the strongest of men with his lean build, his hardened steel bat will still pack quite the wallop if it hits.
    • Agility: As one may notice from the past section, Majima usually relies on his speed in combat, preferring to confuse his opponent and cause them to miss attacks, only to counter with a vicious series of attacks of his own. and his lean figure and thin, loose clothing enable him to possess some truly impressive speeds. His own personal training ensures he is also able to preform all manner of acrobatics.
    • Weapon skill:In addition to knives and a bat, Majima also knows how to use nunchaku, swords, tonfa, Kali Sticks, and an assortment of other weapons, although he cannot wield them with the same proficiency as his primary weapons.
  • Equipment
    • Demonfire Dagger:Majima's primary weapon, the same dagger that once took his eye. It is otherwise unremarkable.
    • Steel Baseball Bat:A baseball bat that Majima uses with his Slugger style. Despite its size, Majima is somehow able to carry it in his pockets without any trouble.
  • Canon/Fanon: Canon
  • Territory/Followers:

  • Name: The Maestro Sisters, Ionia and Aeolia Achtelnote
  • Age: still drawing a blank
  • Appearance: Yeah and yeah, and here's what they both look like in color. Ionia has short hair, Aeolia has long hair. They might wear other clothing, nowadays, tending towards the incredibly extravagant and expensive.
  • Universe: YumekuiMerry
  • Personality: "Preeminently haughty and snobbish" still applies to the both of them...even more so, actually. Being the winners of a multiversal competition to the death, gaining uncountable amounts of fans and becoming multi-septillion selling performance artists does that to a person. When it does it to Ionia and Aeolia, though, they just become insufferable. They're both a bit more aware of life's workings now that they're living it, but they still have a ways to go to learn. Overall, they're prone to violence, and very openly cruel to others. At least they get along with each other.
    • Ionia is a bit of an angry lady. When others annoy her, and they will annoy her, she can go from serenity to furiousness at the drop of a hat. She mostly just wants to be appreciated for her art, so that means she loathes people who don't enjoy a little classical music, and forms of art other than her own. She's a lot more acerbic than Aeolia, but she also at least cares little enough about other people to know when to stop.
    • Aeolia is, outwardly, nicer than her sister. Where Ionia gets mad, she just shakes her head lets it slide for the moment, and raising her voice is something she rarely does. The vulgar tastes of the masses are just what she expects, so that's not a problem. Very polite! On the other hand, she's a little more sadistic than Ionia. She openly enjoys causing pain, might get off on it a little, and she'll drag out any kind of violence she engages in just to squeeze every last second of entertainment she can.
  • Backstory: To put their story short: Ionia and Aeolia are things referred to interchangeably as Nightmares or Dream Demons. They're made from the collective unconsciousness of mankind, and embody the idea of music. They're also kind of sheltered from everything and wanted to become real girls to enjoy the breadth of emotion and experience that normal people get to have. So, they tried to manifest in some human's body, but got beat up by the dumb protagonist, his flattie dream realm goddess best friend, and some lady with a sword. Then the important part happened: they got kidnapped into a multiversal game show!
    • On the seminal, still-running as of the current writing (with 23 seasons!) TV series Pandemonium House, Ionia was deemed the winner of the inaugural contest after weeks of constant trial and pain. Aeolia got runner up because she deferred to let her sister win, and they won because having two people who will always work together kind of puts it in their favor. After winning, they took their winnings, their fame and their boundless luck to the bank and invested it all by making their widespread popularity even more so. "Achtelnote" is a household name, "Ionia" and "Aeolia" are both some of the most popular girls' baby names in multiple cultures, they singlehandedly revived the concept of the classical music radio station, and life is good.
  • Powers/Equipment:
    • bein not normal: They are Nightmares, so they get an excuse for having anime powers on at all times.. Their pain tolerance and durability are can-get-their-arms-cut-off-and-not-pass-out-immediately level, and somewhere near the level of "peak human" in other categories.
    • hearin good: Their hearing is extremely refined and precise. Even in the middle of a full orchestral performance, Ionia and Aeolia can hear the sounds of bones creaking, skin stretching and hearts beating as clear as anything else. Aside from the relatively limited use of spotting people who are otherwise stealthy, this is mostly a pain in the butt. It's dreadful, having to hear absolutely everything around you with the same level of attention as everything else. They've existed with it for long enough that it's mostly an annoyance instead of something crippling, but a loud enough cacophony that they didn't engineer themselves might be disorienting, and even worse, debilitating. Aeolia is just a little better at ignoring it, though.
    • puppet shit: They've both got a little puppet dude on their right hands. It's a magic puppet! Yeah! Without it being affixed there, they can't do any of the following.
      • Score: Their main method of killing dudes, this involves concentrating large blasts of pure sonic power into fixed points. Alongside the ability to do great damage, like, break-up-concrete-like-everything-is-made-out-of-in-anime damage, these attacks also tend to temporarily deafen people. To counteract how it's rather hard to dodge entirely invisible projectiles, a marker that usually appears as glowing, crossing musical staffs where the attack will land is there, along with how the Maestros must loudly say some vaguely musical-sounding term to make it happen that somewhat mirrors how the attack will manifest. Score: Appasionato equals a wide, strong blast, Score: Pianissimo is a light attack, Score: Acciaccatura is all-out, etc.
      • Score: Note: Ionia and Aeolia can summon two things. One, large quantities of note-headed men shaped like her puppet and made of cloth, which can only play instruments. Secondly, big 'ol eighth-note monsters with teeth (let's limit her to one-at-a-time) that aren't terribly strong or durable. They really only can bite. However, they float, and are soft enough to make for very good seats. Together, they can get a really big orchestra set out in no time.
      • Score: Pause: Given about a minute of uninterrupted time, she can regenerate limbs. If one or the other loses that puppet thingey, the other can activate it and heal anyway. They can also activate a similar ability at will that allows them to reshape their body to be black, elongated, and even more musically themed.
      • Vibratory Bulwark: Concentrating fully on the space in front of her, Ionia can form aural energy into a very sturdy barrier, one that's very good at blocking almost all projectile attacks. It's about the size and shape of a large door, and it's troublesome to get past it.
    • HERE COMES THE MONAAAAAAYY: They're filthy stinking rich, baby! You thought Robert had Dineros? Think again! They've got cash for miles! They could buy a planet and name it Achtelia for all they care! Yeah, boy! Ching-kaching, dingaling! If Money Talks, these girl's wallets SCREAM! They don't actually have any money with them, though. Accursed paperless societies...
  • Skills:
    • Natural Born Masters: They're really, really good at composing and conducting classical music, along with playing virtually any instrument known to man. Doesn't necessarily extend to singing.
  • Canon/Fanon: They're canon characters in a fanon interpretation of the canon game A Game of Gods Season 3: Pandemonium. 2/3rds canon.
  • Territory/Followers: None, and I guess you could count the variable amount of orchestra players in their retinue as followers.

  • Name: Wulfrik the Wanderer (aka the Worldwalker, the Eternal Champion, the Inescapable One)
  • Age: Unknown
  • Appearance: Wulfrik the Wanderer is a towering redheaded giant, even for one of the Norsca. Skulls and bones taken from previous victories adorn his ancient suit of enchanted Chaos armor, and his cape was once the scalp of a slain giant.
  • Universe: Warhammer Fantasy
  • Backstory: Wulfrik once boasted of his martial prowess, claiming himself the equal of any warrior in the world. The gods then cursed him for his pride, henceforth he lived forever on the condition that he always prove his boast true. He was given the gift of tongues, that he might deliver challenges in the language of any creature, his words carried on the winds of chaos themselves. No matter how crude his insults and threats, they so incense the listener that they throw caution to the wind, accepting his challenge in their haste to silence him.
At first, Wulfrik cursed the gods for making him take this vagabond lifestyle instead of letting him rule his tribe. But after he acquired the Seafang, his flying longship, and exacted vengeance upon his father-in-law and the mage who had both betrayed him, he realized how truly blessed he was. Now he travels the world, his Seafang ensuring none can flee him, striking down the greatest warriors and monsters as a demonstration of his devotion to the Chaos gods. To Khorne he offers their skulls, to Nurgle their stinking guts, to Slaanesh their still-beating hearts, to Tzeentch their dying breath.
  • Personality: Despite his appearance and his background, Wulfrik is no mindless berserker. To slaughter the defenseless and challenge the meek is of no interest to him, and to offer up such unworthy trophies to the gods would quickly result in his own death, his soul barred from the great feasting halls of Khorne and tortured by daemons for all eternity. Nor will he carelessly throw away his life in battle: the gods have given him a purpose, and he will not spit on their blessings by rising against it. Thus he approaches every battle with the intent to win, and his sense of strategy has been honed by thousands of battles against enemies both brutal and cunning.
As a servant of the Dark Gods and formerly devoted entirely to Khorne, Wulfrik despises cowardice and trickery (save turning those tricks on their perpetrators). Conversely, those who share the values of the Norsca will find him a loud if boisterous ally. Though cruel and short-tempered, he is quite loyal to those he deems his kin.
  • Powers/Abilities/Equipment:
    • Wulfrik carries several enormous swords, unremovable Chaos armor that makes him immune to poison and psychological warfare, a shield which cancels magic that hits it (enchanted weapons and such become mere sharpened metal and rock), a spiked crown that slowly mends his wounds, and a brass collar which reduces the effects of magic.
    • The Gift of Tongues: Wulfrik's greatest curse and greatest blessing. When Wulfrik delivers a challenge to an enemy within sight range, the target hears it in his own language, becomes enraged at the insult no matter how crude or unsubtle, and immediately goes to fight him regardless of the tactical situation just to shut him up. This effectively makes him an omniglot, able to speak with any creature, intelligent or bestial.
    • Wulfrik's strength is higher than many mortals, allowing him to prevail against even trolls, dragons and giants.
    • Wulfrik is known to have high tolerance for alcohol, once drinking eight fulls barrels of Norscan mead before finally collapsing.
    • Eye of the Gods: disabled.
    • Wulfrik carries with him the daemon-possessed prow of his longship in the hopes that he will one day be able to fix it and leave all this madness behind.
  • Canon/Fanon: After being abducted from his rightful fate of slaying heroes and monsters alike by interdimensional beings called "Producers" to participate in a multiversal reality show, the show's ending under unclear circumstances resulted in Wulfrik ending up in yet another world. Freed from their shackles, he now hopes to hear the voice of his masters once more, looking for powerful creatures to kill in an effort to get his life back on track.
  • Territory: None for the foreseeable future, thinking of making him the champion to the first warlord he runs into.

kagescorpionakki Breath of the Sun from Long Ago Since: Apr, 2009 Relationship Status: Anime is my true love
Breath of the Sun
#5: May 24th 2018 at 9:58:37 AM

  • Name: Okami Amaterasu and Issun
  • Age: Ageless and 20-something
  • Appearance: Origin of all that is good and mother to us all, with her Celestial Envoy (Issun up-close; he's about an inch tall)
  • Universe: Ōkami
  • Personality: Amaterasu is a kind, maternal soul, who always helps others in need. She is incredibly gentle and sweet to those she isn't fighting, especially to children, animals, and the elderly. However, against demons and those who mean to harm the innocent, she is an incredibly fierce protector who never backs down and always faces evil. She also has a taste for sake and likes buxom women (a trait she shares with her good buddy Issun) but knows when to focus and will sometimes chastise Issun for his antics. (Issun is a boastful traveling artist who loves the ladies and gives questionable advice. He's a good friend, though, and always encourages Amaterasu to do what's right.)
  • Backstory:
    • In ancient Nippon, the village of Kamiki was beset by the twisted serpent Yamata no Orochi. Having slew the divines of the Celetial Plain and nearly ended worship of the Kami, they were powerless to stop him. Every year he would demand the fairest maiden of the village be sacrificed to his hunger. Each year, a white wolf appeared to stalk the sacrificial maiden, and the villagers dubbed it the Demon Shiranui. But one year, the brave swordsman Nagi defied Orochi and with the wolf's help slew the beast. In truth, that wolf was the goddess Amaterasu. She died saving Nagi's life. A century passed and the goddess was reincarnated, the white wolf returning to a land devoid of hope or light. Orochi had returned as well, and cursed the land.
    • Amaterasu restored the sun, and met her new Celestial Envoy, a funny sprite named Issun. Together they traveled across Nippon, defeating Orochi once more as well as countless other demons, both great and small. Restoring faith to the people and reclaiming the powers of the failing gods, she found the true source of all darkness, the monster Yami, and vanquished it. The Sun rose again, and with her old friend Waka, she returned to the Celestial Plain to purge it of the last of Yami's influence.
  • Powers/Abilities:
    • Physical Abilities: Amaterasu is strong enough to suplex demons twice her size, can run at Olympian speeds for hours on end at full tilt, and is tough enough to withstand explosions, tornadoes, and lightning and keep fighting. She's quite a skilled combatant as well, having learned some weird canine martial arts and she's proficient with three different kinds of weapons. She can do a short dash at high speed to dodge attacks.
    • Praise: Her powers are strengthened by the faith of others, both humans and animals. All who look up to her and thank her for her deeds grant her power, which she can use to increase the amount of ink her tail produces, heal herself, or reduce the damage she takes from attacks. It takes a lot of prayers to actually increase her strength like this.
    • Mother To Us All: Despite being an enormous wolf, she does not inspire fear. Her presence has a slight calming effect, in the way one would feel safe around one's mother. This is more pronounced in nonintelligent animals than people - animals will not attack her. Even territorial creatures such as bears will remain calm so long as she is nearby. Animals can still be forced to attack her, and domesticated creatures will still obey commands, but they will be much less likely to unintentionally hurt someone.
    • Celestial Brush: Amaterasu's tail acts as a brush upon the universe itself. By drawing on the world, Amaterasu can perform 13 different techniques. While her tail constantly produces ink, it takes time to replenish ink when used, and if she uses too many techniques she'll revert to a normal white wolf and can't use techniques or her weapons for about ten seconds. Unlike in her home universe, time doesn't stop while she is drawing, so a keen observer can avoid the brushstrokes or even interrupt her - to an outside observer it will appear as though Amaterasu is drawing on the air in front of her face, and they can disrupt the ink before it solidifies into the brush technique.
      • Sunrise: Amaterasu draws the sun in the sky, turning night into day or prolonging daytime... in her own realm, that is. Outside of her home universe, since she doesn't have control over other world's suns, it just makes a small, temporary light (lasts about half a minute, can only have 1 at a time) that makes the area around it comfortably warm and dry.
      • Rejuvenation: Amaterasu paints in the missing pieces of anything damaged or broken, restoring it to pristine condition. Can also clean dirty things.
      • Power Slash: Slashes an object or enemy along a straight. Can slice through diamond boulders.
      • Greensprout: Actually 3 minor plant-based techniques:
        • Bloom: Circles a plant to make it grow and bloom.
        • Water Lily: Makes a large lily pad in water that Amaterasu or an ally can stand upon.
        • Vine: Draws a vine that pulls Amaterasu to any hook or other protrusion you could tie a rope to.
      • Cherry Bomb: Creates an oversized round bomb that can be rolled around and explodes after a few seconds. The explosion is actually rather small, and Amaterasu can only have three bombs active at a time.
      • Waterspout: Draws a line from a source of water to a target, striking it with a high-power spray. It's upgraded form, Deluge, uses more ink, but can create a small downpour on an enemy without needing an existing source of water. More ink = stronger downpour, and a strong one can pin an enemy to the ground with water.
      • Crescent: Amaterasu draws the moon in the sky, turning day into night or prolonging nighttime... in her own realm, that is. Outside of her home universe, since she doesn't have control over other world's moons, it doesn't do anything.
      • Galestorm: Creates a powerful gust of wind to blow enemies away or spin windmills. It's upgraded form, Whirlwind, uses more ink but creates a small tornado around Amaterasu that slashes at enemies while pushing them away. More ink = tornado lasts longer.
      • Inferno: Draws a line from a source of fire to a target, burning it like a flamethrower. It's upgraded form, Fireburst, uses more ink but creates a fireball without need of a fire source. More ink = bigger fireball.
      • Veil of Mist: Slows time for four seconds from Amaterasu's perspective. To an outsider, it just looks like Amaterasu is moving faster for a few seconds. Doesn't stack with itself, but reusing it before the four seconds are up resets the duration.
      • Catwalk: Draws cat's paws on a flat surface, allowing Amaterasu to stick to it and climb it by jumping up it.
      • Thunderstorm: Draws a line from a source of open electricity (a tesla coil works, a power outlet doesn't) to a target, striking it with the force of lightning. It's upgraded form, Thunderbolt, uses more ink but summons a lightning bolt without a source of electricity. More ink = bigger bolt.
      • Blizzard: Draws a line from a source of ice or snow to a target, freezing it with an icy spray. It's upgraded form, Icestorm, uses more ink but creates a storm of icy needles to bombard enemies without need of an ice source. More ink = bigger storm.
    • Issun: He's a surprisingly skilled painter and a decent swordsman... against things his own tiny size. Against larger targets, he can aim for weakpoints like the eyes or try to slip underneath someone's armor to annoy them. He can also steal small things (around baseball-sized or smaller) from enemies, and he can travel along an ink line drawn by Amaterasu, appearing to jump from her to an enemy and back again in the blink of an eye. Issun also intuitively understands Amaterasu, and translates her intentions for her.
  • Equipment:
    • Denkomaru: Issun's sword, which is like a sharpened sewing needle. It's handle is also his paintbrush (he gets his ink from Ammy's tail).
    • Water Tablet: A high-tech charm made by the Moon Tribe. Allows Amaterasu to walk on water.
    • Fire Tablet: A high-tech charm made by the Moon Tribe. Grants a high resistance to heat and fire, and allows Amaterasu to swim in lava.
    • Divine Instruments: Amaterasu's weapons. They float above her back, and she can move them without touching them. She swings them by swinging her head and neck. She can only use one at a time, but can switch between them at will. It takes a few seconds of concentration to switch weapons.
      • Solar Flare: A reflector - a mirror-like weapon - enveloped in fire. It can be used to smash enemies or as a shield to block attacks. It is very balanced in terms of speed and power, and acts as a source of fire for Inferno.
      • Tundra Beads: A rosary of blisteringly cold magatama beads. A weapon that acts like a bladed whip, fast and long-ranged, but weaker than Amaterasu's other weapons. The beads can also be rapidly fired off like bullets, after which they will reform back on the rosary after a few seconds. Acts as a source of ice for Blizzard.
      • Thunder Edge: A huge greatsword, almost as big as Amaterasu herself. A powerful, slow weapon that can smash through weak defenses. By charging it with power for a few seconds, it can be used in a powerful forward drill lunge. Acts as a source of electricity for Thunderstorm.
  • Canon/Fanon: Fanon, technically - she was in the Pandemonium game show before this.
  • Territory: None. (Well, Issun is technically Ammy's follower)

What is so amusing about this? Why do you take lives? How can you forget?

@Meanken, Wikkit, kagescorpionakki: Your characters are accepted.

@Chabal: How much does the collar reduce the effect of magic and does it work on all sorts of such or is it only the Warhammer version? The instant anger taunt effect will have to be scrapped entirely because that's mental manipulation that can't be defended against. And his strength is limited to being able to lift at maximum around the 10,000 pounds range.

Vampire Hunter
#7: May 24th 2018 at 7:39:28 PM

Name: Chun-Li

Age: 18

Appearance: "I'm the strongest woman in the world!"

Universe: Street Fighter Series

Personality: Chun-Li is a highly disciplined, seasoned, and courageous warrior, and is often the voice of reason. As a detective of Interpol, she takes her work very seriously, yet she also has an elegant, sweet, and feminine personality. When it comes to fighting, Chun-Li tends to get quite competitive with other fighters and does not take defeats kindly, but after her fights, she often becomes allies - and in some cases, friends. Additionally, she has shown great resilience and determination in pursuing intense rivals, such as Bison and Juri. Chun-Li is resourceful and dedicated, with a strong sense of justice. She strongly believes in protecting the innocent, yet she has no qualms with fighting.

Backstory: At the age of five, Chun-Li saw her first classical Chinese play, Peking Opera, and her first Bruce Lee movie, which fascinated her and also became part of the reasons why she started practicing martial arts.

She began by learning Tai Chi. However, Tai Chi was much different from the gorgeous movements she remembered from Peking Opera. Soon afterwards, her father taught her Hong Quan as well as various basic exercises from then on. With that, Chun-Li’s skills in Chinese martial arts improved rapidly. Chun-Li used mostly kicks when fighting. This was something she picked up from her father, who was also said to have "legendary legs." Chun-Li continued to develop her kick attacks, embracing techniques from a variety of martial arts, such as Capoeira, Chinese Martial arts, battle karate, Tae Kwon Do, thus eventually creating her own style.

Chun-Li would later become a detective at the age of eighteen in hopes of finding her missing father. She later followed in her father's footsteps and become a narcotics investigator at the I.C.P.O (International Criminal Police Organization), also known as Interpol, working as the organization's anti-Shadaloo investigator. Chun-Li was known as the "black sheep of the I.C.P.O.", as she was investigating Shadaloo for the illegal sales of narcotics and weapons when said evil organization got their hold of the high-ups of Interpol.

Chun-Li was an Interpol investigator who had been searching for clues to the recent disappearance of her father. Getting into a friendly spar with an old teacher of hers and friend of her father, Gen, he gives her a lead into who may have killed her father—the mysterious crime syndicate Shadaloo. Finding its leader, M. Bison, she demands he tell her what happened to her father. To her surprise, Bison attacks and basically makes quick work of her, then flies away, laughing at her and telling her if she attacks him again he will kill her just like he did her father. With tears in her eyes (the last she swore to ever shed), Chun-Li swore vengeance.

Since that time, Chun-Li has made it her mission to take down Shadaloo... The mission she was currently on is her investigation of Shadaloo's weapons division, S.I.N, including one of its operatives... Juri Han.

Powers/Abilities/Skills/Equipment: Chun-Li is a master of her own form of Chinese martial arts and can manipulate her own ki to power a variety of attacks and ki blasts. She is also very skilled at shooting with a gun.

Canon/Fanon: The only bit of Fanon involved in Chun-Li is that she had been involved in previous AGOG games, namely Infinities, Nemesis, and Pandemonium.

Territory/Followers: A cellphone, a figurine of Ges defeating the Fire Lord given to her by Malia, her friend Charlie Nash, and a dojo of 149 students consisting of 36 Fire Nation Folks, 36 Darcsens, 30 Fire Emblem Villagers with 9 Blessed By Mila, 22 Gothamites, 20 Firebenders, and 5 San Fransokyoans with 1 being a genius scientist including...

  • Sazesa: A haughty Firebending woman.
  • Yatsumi Ishihara: A Gothamite woman practiced in fighting with the katana who notably does not wear a Bat costume.
  • Bobbi, Kacie & Stacy: Three Gothamite women who have decided to dress like Chun-Li.

Name: Juri Han

Age: Twenties

Appearance: "Hmm... You look like you're in good shape..."

Universe: Street Fighter Series

Personality: Juri fights purely for the thrill of the battle; unlike Ryu, who seeks meaning, her drive is more vengeful and ruthless, as she likes inflicting pain on her foes, and can easily lose her temper when she is struck back in retaliation without warning. She displays several traits of a femme fatale, as she makes provocative and suggestive remarks toward her enemies, as well seen in her win quotes; she is also cunning and manipulative, and not above leaving her partners to further her own agenda. At times she appears to be brooding and depressed.

However, despite her vengeful and ruthless behavior, she still has some vague sense of honor; during her mission (in the Super Street Fighter IV OVA), she left a young boy alive despite many civilians being caught in the crossfire. Juri also appears to detest fighting children, and views Evil Ryu to be a far more abhorrent type of ruthlessness, which somewhat contradicts her opinion on other Ansatsuken users.

Backstory: Juri was a prominent practitioner of Taekwondo when she was 15. Her father was a lawyer in charge of prosecuting organized crime operations. In this capacity, Shadaloo was his next target, causing her family to be kidnapped by that very organization. During the ordeal, Juri lost her parents, and her left eye was gravely wounded. After this, she joined up with Shadaloo's weapons division, S.I.N., with one goal in mind... To destroy M. Bison in revenge, no matter the cost. During her time with S.I.N., Juri had her damaged left eye replaced with the Feng Shui Engine to make her more powerful. After this, she then field tested the Feng Shui Engine by assassinating operatives, which is when she fought against Chun-Li for the first time and won.

Powers/Abilities/Skills/Equipment: Juri is a master of the South Korean martial art of Taekwando and can manipulate her own ki to power a variety of kicks and ki blasts. Because of the Feng Shui Engine that replaced her left eye when it was damaged, she has an enhanced fighting potential with amazing speed, strength, and quicker reaction time. Without the Feng Shui Engine, Juri would not be as good as she currently is. She also has a photographic memory.

Canon/Fanon: The only bit of Fanon involved in Juri is that she had been involved in previous AGOG games, namely Nemesis and Pandemonium.

Territory/Followers: A motorcycle which she had claimed for herself, a Freeze Gun she claimed for herself, a training dummy based on Chun-Li, 10 Potions, 10 Antidotes, Juri's acquaintance Seth, the Duel Monster Silent Magician, Selina 'Catwoman' Kyle, Catwoman's cat Isis, Catwoman's personal assistant Mavis, and a dojo of 143 students consisting of 30 Fire Emblem Villagers with 8 Blessed By Mila, 30 Earth Kingdom Folks, 24 Water Tribe folks, 22 Gothamites, 12 Camoans, 10 Earthbenders, 5 Metalbenders, 5 Waterbenders, and 5 San Fransokyoans with 1 being a genius scientist including...

  • Tiva: A snarky Earthbending woman.
  • Koha: A Waterbending woman

All of Chun-Li and Juri's moves have some bit of ki channeled in them, but I will describe their Special Moves and Super Moves to the best of my ability. The difference between Special Moves and Super Moves for the purposes of this RP is that Super Moves take more ki to use than Special Moves, and thus there is a bit of a cool down period before either can use another Super Move again.

Chun-Li's Special Moves:

  • Hyakuretsukyaku: Also known as the Lightning Kick, this move allows Chun-Li to repeatedly kick an opponent at blinding speed. As for how fast it is, it is not as fast as and is more specialized than Ranma's Chestnuts Roasting Over an Open Fire, but it can also be sustained indefinitely compared to Ranma's rapid fire attack.
  • Kikoken: This move is a ball of ki that is thrown in a straight line from Chun-Li's hands.
  • Hazanshu: Also known as the Axe Kick, Chun-Li somersaults forward with one of her legs outstretched, slamming it into the ground as she lands.
  • Spinning Bird Kick: Chun-Li jumps up, feet first in the air, and does a split. She then twirls her upside-down body and attacks, with her legs like helicopter blades.

Chun-Li's Super Moves:

  • Senretsukyaku: A faster, more powerful variant of Hyakuretsukyaku, this version only lasts for a few seconds and cannot be sustained indefinitely as the Hyakuretsukyaku can be.
  • Kikosho: A more powerful variant of the Kikoken, Chun-Li holds her hand in front of her and creates a large ball of ki, which creates a wind tunnel effect and damages anyone near the ball of ki except herself. Unlike the Kikoken proper, this ball of ki remains in Chun-Li's hands for the duration of the move.

Juri's Special Moves:

  • Fuhajin: This move allows Juri to gather dark ki in her foot as she lifts it over her head and then fire a ball of dark ki from her foot when she chooses to do so. As a ki attack, this move is unusual in that it is channeled and kicked from the foot rather than channeled and thrown from the hands.
  • Shikusen: Juri suddenly swoops down towards the opponent foot-first. If she finds her opponent, she can opt to follow up with a pair of kicks called the "2nd Impact," and then choose to finish with a final kick called the "3rd Strike" which sends the foe flying away.
  • Senpusha: Also known as the Pinwheel, Juri channels dark ki in her feet and cartwheels through the air, kicking opponents within range.
  • Kasatushi: Juri taunts the opponent and if hit, she dashes to avoid the opponent's attack. This technique is ineffective against throws or projectiles.

Juri's Super Moves:

  • Fuharenjin: A variant of the Fuhajin, Juri unleashes a barrage of Fuhajin in front of her, damaging any opponent nearby hit with the barrage.
  • Feng Shui Engine: Juri's artificial left eye glows purple as she unleashes the full might of the Feng Shui Engine, allowing her to be quicker and more devastating with her attacks. However, this power up only lasts for a limited time.

  • Name: Hiccup Horrendous Haddock III and Toothless
  • Age: Both are about 20 years old.
  • Appearance:Hiccup and Toothless
  • Universe: How To Train Your Dragon (Movies and TV, not the books)
  • Personality:
    • Once a shy boy, Hiccup is now a confidence man with a strong sense of compassion, adventure, ingenuity, and a love for thrills. While he can be cocky and overconfident, he usually gets over it pretty fast. Despite being proud of calling himself a Viking, his most defining trait is his kindness. He very rarely throws the first punch, and always tries to solve his problems diplomatically. However, if you've repeatedly shown to be uncompromising, evil, and/or put his loved ones in danger, there will be no negotiations. He is also very intelligent, preferring to outsmart his foes, but don't mistake that for an unwillingness or reluctance to fight head on.

    • Toothless, while an animal, is easily the smartest of dragons of his world. He is very much aware of what people are saying (most of the time) or when he or his rider are being threatened or even insulted. He has a curiosity of the world around him, a dry sense of humor (much like his human friend), has a playful side, and is hard to intimidate (unless it's eels). He is fiercely protective and loyal of Hiccup and will put his live on the line to keep him safe and vice versa. Oddly enough, even though he is a dragon, he shares many mannerisms to that of a feline, such as stalking, pouncing, or even give a critical look at someone.
  • Backstory: In the remote Viking village known as the Isle of Berk, Hiccup is born premature to the Chief of Berk Stoick the Vast and his wife Valka. Something about Berk you need to know is that it has a bad dragon problem. Some nights dragons will fly in, burn some homes down, and steal the livestock. One of these nights Valka was taken by them in front of a young Hiccup, installing a deep fear of dragons.
    • As he got older he started to get an unfavorable reputation as an embarrassment to his father, being too weak to kill a dragon like the others. Although, he does work well as an apprentice to the village blacksmith. One night, wanting to prove his worth, he goes out to shoot down one of the deadliest and most feared dragons in the skies; the Night Fury.
    • He succeeds, destroying the beast's tail fin doing so. However, he ends up pitying the dragon and befriends him, even making him a new fin. Unfortunately, Stoick finds out about this and uses the now named Toothless to find the Dragon's Nest, wanting to finish off the monsters once and for all. However, the leader of the nest, a behemoth of a dragon called the Red Death, was much more then the Vikings could have prepared for. Luckily, Hiccup and his friends came in to save them and kill the Red Death, almost at the cost of Hiccup's life. Some time later, when Hiccup came to, he found he had lost a foot, but brought peace to Vikings and dragons.
    • Over the next few years Hiccup and friends dealt with some other adventures, like dealing with rival Vikings, finding new islands and dragons, even living outside of Berk for awhile.
    • Then one day a fateful encounter leads to him finding his mother still alive and living with dragons. What was a happy reunion was cut short when a new enemy with an Alpha at his disposal uses Toothless to kill Stoick and try to take over his village.
    • After Hiccup breaks Toothless from the Alpha's control, the Night Fury overpowers the larger dragon's and becomes the new Alpha, killing it's master doing so.
    • After that, Hiccup becomes the new Chief of Berk, and not to long after that wakes up in a new world alongside Toothless.
    • Nothing is known about Toothless' past, outside of previously living in the Dragon's Nest and is implied to be the last of his kind.
  • Powers/Abilities:
    • Hiccup: Intelligence - Hiccup's greatest asset is his mind. He's shown to be very cunning, resourceful, and perceptive, as well as possessing a great aptitude for strategy and tactics. He's also persuasive, a great puzzle solver, and a natural born leader.
      • Recovery Rate - Not a fast healer per say, but he always manages to bounce back from a severe injury.
    • Toothless: Flight - As with most dragons, Toothless can fly. However, due to losing his tail fin, he can only fly with a rider skilled enough to work with the artificial one made for him.
      • Speed and Agility - As anyone who's seen this Night Fury in action can tell you, it's speed is unrivaled. It has been stated that Toothless is capable of flying over one hundred miles per hour, possibly even more. Even when not flying Toothless can tear along the ground at terrific speeds and is one of the most agile dragons on land, shown being able to leap from trees, boulders, walls, etc.
      • Strength, Endurance and Stamina - Toothless has shown to hold his own against physically stronger dragons with his strength alone. He can also fly for a long amount of time without tiring and can take quite a bit of damage before showing he is even hurt, even once winning a fight with another dragon despite being poisoned.
      • Fire/Plasma Blast - While Toothless can breathe a steady stream of fire for supplementary uses, he is most well known for his Plasma Blast, an explosive semi-solid mass of acetylene-oxygen flames. When charging energy and shooting, a high-pitched sound emits. The blast of plasma will explode even if it does not hit a target, because at high altitude, carbon dioxide is abundant and replaces the oxygen which creates the fire. A direct hit can kill a grown man with one shot. It is said that he can only fire six shots at a time, but there seems to be some conflicting information regarding that, although it is possible Night Furies simply recharge their shots very quickly. He can also use his breath for a blowtorch-like flame or just use a weaken Plasma Blast to just knock someone over.
      • Camouflage - Toothless' black scales and extreme speed make him hard to notice, especially at night or in dark places.
      • Echolocation - Should sight fail him, Toothless can use echolocation to guide himself.
      • "Flaps" on back - Toothless has retractable leathery flaps are flat fins-like spikes, placed in "V" shape and extending from his back to the end of the tail. They gave him more maneuverability and control in flight, almost like a second tail.
      • Saliva - Toothless' saliva has been shown to be an effective adhesive.
      • Hearing - Toothless' sense of hearing is so good he can hear a small bug buzzing far in the distance. Works great with his echolocation.
      • Retractable Teeth - How he got his name, Toothless can retract his teeth when not using them.
      • Dominance Display/Titan Wing/Alpha - Disabled
  • Skills:
    • Hiccup: Dragon Taming and Training - His most noticeable skill, Hiccup has an almost unnatural ability to tame and/or calm down the dragons of his world, even ones that wanted to kill just seconds prior. How this will translate to this new world remains to be seen...
      • Fighting Skills - Although he's not much of a fighter, Hiccup has been known to get his hands dirty on occasion, even fighting other Vikings without a problem using just a shield. He can also use his sword with great precision and skill and has become a proficient and accurate archer. His reflexes are also sharp enough to have his opponent to cut his handcuffs off and walk away unscathed.
      • Drawing - Even before Hiccup begins to train dragons, he practices drawing. Comes in handy whenever he's making plans and inventions.
      • Inventing - Hiccup's years at the forge certainly paid off. He's a skilled crafter and all the equipment he and Toothless has are made by his own hands.
      • Roar Call - He can make a roar noise that sounds similar to Toothless's roar, as a way for Toothless to find Hiccup.
    • Toothless - Aerial Acrobatics - Requiring Hiccup's help to pull off, Toothless can escape confrontations with little difficulty.
      • Shot Skill - Toothless has so much control over his shots he can ricochet his shots off of other surfaces. His signature attack is dive bombing at a great speed and then fires a precise and extremely explosive blast.
      • Sea skimming - A particular way of swimming where Toothless dives and jumps out of the water continuously. This ability doesn't require for Toothless to be ridden by anyone, he can do this all by himself.
  • Equipment:
    • Hiccup: Prosthetic Leg - After losing half of his left leg in the battle against the Red Death, Hiccup needed a prosthetic to replace it. Not impressive by today's standards, but this metal leg not only helps Hiccup walk, but also helps him fly Toothless. Can be used as a makeshift weapon if need be.
      • Inferno - Hiccup's main weapon, Inferno is a retractable sword that, when pulled out, opens a gas canister that ignites the flammable gel on the blade, setting it on fire. In addition to combat, this sword can be used as a torch and as a way to pacify wild dragons. By placing a small canister of Hideous Zippleback gas inside the hilt, Hiccup can release the gas through the pommel and ignite it to create an explosion.
      • Flightsuit - Created by Hiccup as a means to glide without Toothless' company, it also holds several practical utilities and supplies incorporated into it beyond flight itself. This includes a dagger, a compass, spare pages for his map, and his sword Inferno, with spare cartridges of Monstrous Nightmare saliva and Hideous Zippleback gas.

      • Flight Helmet - Designed by Hiccup, this helmet was made as way to protect his face from high winds (as he flies a Night Fury, the fastest dragon), and as insulation while flying at high altitudes. The lower half can be flipped up like a visor.

      • Journal - Bringing this wherever he goes, Hiccup uses it to draw the outlines of his gadgets, inventions, and new infromation.

    • Toothless: Saddle and Tail Fin - An artifical prosthetic tailfin that Hiccup designed and built for Toothless. It consists of a leather and metal tailfin controlled by a series of cables, pulleys and gears connected to a set of pedals which Hiccup controls with his feet while sat on a saddle. The latest model is known as the Red III. It features a much more complex gear system - unlike the older tails, this tail has two 'pedals', one on its right which controls the vertical angle of the tail, allowing for greater control to do things such as barrel rolls and tighter turns, and a 'sliding' pedal on its left controlled by Hiccup's prosthetic controlling the outward (horizontal) extension of the tail. It also has a locking mechanism allowing for Toothless to glide alongside Hiccup as he uses his flight suit.
  • Canon/Fanon: Canon
  • Territory/Followers: None for now.

Collar: As far as I can tell, it sometimes deflects magic or reduces the effects without making him immune, so it could work on both Warp and non-Warp magic.

Taunting: The effect is more Draw Aggro than actual mind control. In the previous game, all the magic does is allow his words to be heard by the target and those near it in their language, whether it actually worked I left up to the target's owner (in his world it worked without fail, if it fails in this one then clearly the gods did not intend for Wulfrik to waste his time with so spineless a foe).

Strength: Sure. The specifics don't really come up anyway, I figure he's strong enough to fight giant creatures but not one-shot them.

Two for One special out here in the Frontier. If you want me to split these up into two posts, just say.

First off, you told me that I could get a lab in the middle of nowhere for MAD SCIENCE. I just couldn't resist.

  • Name: Kokonoe A. Mercury
  • Age: Unknown, appears in her 30's. Likely closer to 90-100
  • Appearance: The kitty comes out to play. Well, more like shooed outside, but you know.
  • Universe: Blazblue (Between Chronophantasma and Central Fiction)
  • Personality:
    • Kokonoe is many things, but cranky, grumpy, serious, foul-mouthed, and cynical are probably the first thing that strikes people, provided they actually see her outside her lab. A extremely intelligent woman who believes that science is true power that can overcome magic, and is much safer than the later, she doesn't have much regard for people's emotions, is perfectly willing to cross several moral lines if need be, and she can be selfish and self-centered, possessing quite a large ego that can get in her own way sometimes (mostly having people take her word for things rather than actually explaining them). She's also rather impatient, and has somewhat of a low attention span when things don't interest her.
    • That said, she isn't completely heartless. She tries to keep the casualties around her to a minimum, if at all, only using mass destruction as a last resort, and is also willing to use other methods available if her first solution is that objected for being that morally dubious. She is one to right her wrongs, although she also doesn't entirely regret her wrongs most of the time. She can also be very personal to her creations, despite expecting a lot out of them, and can go overboard with their upgrades if in a good mood. She also does care about her pupils, even if she doesn't show it. She's a candy connoisseur, usually not seen without at least a silvervine candy in her mouth, with a weakness for Ferrero Rocher Chocolates. She doesn't like stereotypes, and mentioning her father is a good way to get her into a sour mood.
  • Backstory:
    • Kokonoe was the daughter of two legendary heroes who were part of a group known as, well, the "Six Heroes". Her father was Mitsuyoshi, more well known as "Jubei", a katana-weilding talking cat that is considered the strongest being on earth, and her mother was Konoe A. Mercury, or "Nine" of the Ten Sages, one of the most powerful mages in the world, and creator of the "Ars Magnus", a system of the combination of magic and science, most notably the "Nox Nyctores", weapons used to slay a near-apocalypse causing monster known as the Black Beast, the feat the Six Heroes were most known for. This was all well and good until Jubei left her in custody of the NOL, the government that controlled the world after the Black Beast was defeated, and Konoe, as well as Kokonoe's Aunt, Celica, were "killed" (It's complicated) by Yuki Terumi, a traitor of the Six Heroes. This left her with one desire: To kill Yuki Terumi in revenge, no matter what. Eventually, she ends up in control of Sector Seven, a group that opposes the NOL that relies on science as opposed to magic. She also was the first person in history to be branded a SS-Level Criminal (the highest danger rating one can get, basically the equivalent of "Most Wanted") by the NOL, but she deleted all the records of that.
    • She eventually gained a few partners, such as Tager (After repairing him after an operation to recover a Nox Nyctores gone wrong), She also had a run in with local (even) mad(er) scientist, Relius Clover, who managed to rope her into accidentally creating another Black Beast that she had to use magic to restrain, only for that to be used to power up his Nox Nyctores. Being kinda angry at this, and Tager getting hurt, costing him his memories, she struck down Relius, believing to have killed him.
    • Eventually she took in pupils Roy Who eventually would become the blob monster Arakune and Litchi Faye-Ling. They eventually found one of the Six Heroes, Hakumen, in the boundary between possibilities. Due to various circumstances, the two pupils eventually leave Sector Seven for their own pursuits, leaving Kokonoe with Tager and a spy in the NOL in the form of one Makoto Nanaya, and, after helping a local heir of a lower raking family escape a civil war, and recoving a coffin with the body of a Murakumo Unit (Artificial Girl Weapons, essentially) named "Lambda", eventually she is able to recover Hakumen, albeit at 20%. She dispatches Tager to the 13th Hierarchical City of Kagatsuchi, one of the cites on a mountain after her world got polluted after the Black Beast's Defeat, once the world's most infamous criminal to the NOL, Ragna the Bloodedge, arrived there, and brought back Hakumen when he tried to attack him. He then proceeded to defeat a Murakumo unit named Nu, after a girl named Noel broke the time loop they were trapped in (just... go with it). This brought out Terumi, who tricks Noel into observing him, allowing him to take form.
    • She then places the soul of Nu and a artificial Nox Nyctores known as the "IDEA Engine" inside the empty body of Lambda, which... didn't pan out so well, as Nu mistook Lambda's memories (that of being painfully experimented on) as her own. This led to her getting violent and destructive, and forced Kokonoe into having to erase her memories completely and turn her into a mindless drone. However, she kept getting back Nu's memories. This leads to her sacrificing herself for Ragna, giving him the power of the IDEA engine to defeat Terumi and save Noel, who was brainwashed when she awoke as a Murakumo unit to destroy the Master Unit, Amaterasu. Despite this victory, Ragna lost an arm, and the beings responsible for looking after the world fell pray to a virus, as they were distracted when Ragna saved Noel, something that shouldn't have happened. Kokonoe made him a new arm as a favor from a person who doesn't typically ask for them, and everyone heads to the 5th Hierarchical City of Ikaruga.
    • Now, if it seems I've been focusing on other people, it's only because Kokonoe up to now has only been a backseat character. However, this is where she takes a bit more of an active role. She and Kagura, the heir she escorted out of the civil war, devised a plan to kill the leader of the NOL, and replace them with theirs. And, if all else fails, she has nukes. She puts the soul of her aunt Celica into an artificial body, and gave her a guardian to guard her, wanting to use her ablilites as a power nulifier to kill the Leader and Terumi, and have her soul be used to power a weapon called Kushinada's Lynchpin, which would interupt power on a large scale. She also got Ragna, his brother Jin, Noel, and Makoto to go along with her plan, as well as a fake-capture gambit to capture another person that escaped Sector Seven's Prison and save a friend of Noel's, albiet Ragna HIGHLY disagreed with her plan of using Celica's soul, as that also was his caretaker as a child. While Kokonoe made the point she isn't going to last that long anyways, she relented after realizing they could use the soul inside the Nox Ncytores of a man named Bang Shishigami. All was well and good, Lynchpin Activated, Terumi having his "Time" Killed by Hakumen, until everything went wrong. Basically the NOL leader made Ragna go berserk and turn into the Black Beast, which Noel and Jin got heavily injured fighting, Ragna disappeared, the consequences of losing your main resource of power became apparent, and there was a black hole for souls called the Embryo hanging up in the sky. But Lambda got restored in the Embryo, so that's at least one plus in all of this. It is between then, and when the story enters it's final act, that Kokonoe was yanked into the Frontier, because clearly she didn't have enough on her plate already.
  • Powers/Abilities:
    • Beast Heritage: Kokonoe's half-cat, so she has quite the fast reflexes that come with a cat, "always landing on her feet", so to speak. Nothing beyond your typical fighting game character though. She can also use her sleeves to fight as well, although that is not close to her main fighting style, and she's not super strong either, not having inherited that from either of her parents.
    • Magic Potential: This was a bit of a struggle to place down on the balance scale, but she is the daughter of a great mage, and has a lot of magic power herself, the two most notable cases being sealing things inside a compressed space of gravity, and hurling a giant meteor down on her enemies. Needless to say, these would be way too powerful, and she has a distaste for magic anyways, so, for the sake of this RP, she will not have access to being able to cast those magics, rather she has a lot of magic potential, so she'd be effective if she, say, learned other spells from people (unlikely given her aforementioned distaste), or needs magic to power something. These will have to fit with balance, obviously. Things that can sense magic would also find high readings off her.
  • Skills:
    • Scientist: If nothing else, Kokonoe's a brilliant scientist. Possessing vast knowledge of magic and science, leaning towards the later, from metaphysics to bionics, Ars Magnus to chemistry, and anything in between. Obviously, her knowledge is limited to her world, but it does not do much to dissuade her from learning, experimenting, and inventing in this new world. She may talk big, but she can back it up on at the very least this front.
    • Silvervine Addiction: That said, in pursuing said knowledge, she needs a constant influx of her silvervine candy to not collapse from exhaustion from the lack of sleep she has from constantly staying awake to conduct the science. Without it, she'd probably be out like a light.
  • Equipment:
    • Graviton: Kokonoe's Drive. Using a remote, she can produce a small generator that gently pulls things within 5 meters of it towards it, not enough to stop people from moving, but enough so that for an average human, there is some resistance in doing so, and would be slightly dragged if stopped. For the sake of RP, its impact on things such as bullets is negligible enough that the bullet would only be slightly slowed if affected, and it isn't going to yank anything out of people's hands. It can also be used to repel, which immediately drains the charge to provide a push, mostly use to manipulate some of her other armaments. She has 9 in stock that she can use before needing to recharge them, and each have five seconds of charge, w/o repelling. She can deploy this anywhere within a 10 meter radius of herself.
    • Fist Knuckle: A slightly large brass knuckle-like weapon made of steel, for when you have nothing else.
    • Helmet: A fairly normal construction helmet made for Kokonoe. despite this, she can use it to headbutt people if need be.
    • Wrenches: Two slightly over-sized wrenches the size of a shortsword. For fixin' or smakin'.
    • Drill Hammer: Exactly what is says, a large steel hammer with a drill on one end and a booster in the other, in order for her to actually wield the normally heavy weapon. In practice, it's pretty much your average large steel hammer weapon, despite how fancy it looks, with a bit of added drill functionality.
    • Clawshot: Two large grabby claws that go over her fists. Can be used to trip opponents up, as well as basic clawshot duties like grabbing, pulling, and swinging. Maximum range is three meters.
    • Booster: A small booster that can be welded similarly as a shotgun in practicality, used for a quick bit of pushback if people get too close. Only really effective point-plank though.
    • Pile Bunker: A giant pile bunker that she can take over her arm. large, cumbersome, but incredibly powerful at close range, and can pierce light armor or weaker walls (i.e. can't pierce thick steel, titanium, adamantite, etc).
    • Rocket Bat: A large steel bat with rocket boosters attached. Used as a bat to bring things outta there. Again, the boosters are mostly there so it can actually be wielded by Kokonoe herself.
    • Armament No. 2 "Broken Buster Assault v2.21": Two rocket fists where, for once, the boosters aren't for show, and actually propel Kokonoe forward about 3 meters at 50 mph, where she usually tries to go for a 1-2 punch, usually ending with a small explosion (we're talking only going to affect the person hit) for an extra bit of oomph, which can be delayed by three seconds if need be.
    • Armament No. 9 "Ariel Powerdrive: Solid Wheel 3.37": Two turbine engines over Kokonoe's fist that she uses to spin around and try to hit people. While using this, she is completely subjected to Graviton, spinning towards it if it is used.
    • Armament No. 3 "Absolute Zero v4.32": A freeze gun that shoots a small stream of ice about a meter in front of her for a maximum of two seconds, that can freeze people or objects. Ideally solidly, but of course it's not infallible.
    • Gatling Gun: A weak, handheld gatling gun, that deals scratch damage to most people, but is quite rapid. Can fire for about a second before needing to reload.
    • Armament No. 4a "Flame Cage v1.43": A gun that shoots a large fireball (1 meter in diameter) that can be manipulated by Graviton. despite its size, it hurts only as much as your basic fireball spell.
    • Armament No. 4b "Pyro: Flaming Belobog v2.73": A cannon that fires a larger version of No. 4a's fireball that is a whopping two meters diameter. This hurts a bit more than 4a, but is larger, and takes more time to fire. This can also be manipulated by Graviton.
    • Armament No. 5 "Banishing Rays v3.10: A signal that Kokonoe can set down to do... nothing. There's no Kill (well, more Shock a bit) SAT here, so these are useless for now. Probably will get converted into electric mines that serve a similar purpose of giving people a jolt of electricity once she can.
    • Armament No. 6 "Planar Haze v1.24: Kokonoe's own way to access all her equipment. Using a remote, she can conjure two ports to switch out what she is using currently, the whole process taking 1-3 seconds depending. She cannot use it to teleport herself places, unlike in Blazblue proper.
    • Games Console: A handheld gaming console. Just to play games when she has nothing else she cares about going on.
    • Scooter: A kick scooter Kokonoe uses as transportation. It's a regular kick scooter. Not everything needs boosters.
  • Canon/Fanon: Canon.
  • Territory/Followers: None as of yet, unless you count fellow transportee Lambda-11. One day she'll find herself a laboratory.

Alright, with her done, we move on from cats to kats. The k makes all the difference.
  • Name: "Kat" a.k.a. Queen Alua (and Dusty)
  • Age: 17 or 117 or more, what's the difference?
  • Appearance: The Gravity Queen and her Namesake. When Shifting.
  • Universe: Gravity Rush (After Episode 2/Face B of Overture, between 1 and 2)
  • Personality: Selfless, intelligent, can't say no, and just a little bit clumsy, Kat is an generally upbeat girl that is more than willing to make personal sacrifices to improve the lives of others. She enjoys the attention and praise that comes of being a Superhero, embracing the concept, and is sensitive to the feelings and attitudes of those around her. This leads to her being somewhat gullible and easily flattered, and gives her a tendency to get roped into things she shouldn't or wouldn't otherwise. That said, she also can be a bit of a leader when it comes down to it. She is something of a big eater, enjoying snacks and being attached to and willing to defend her food. Despite her sweet nature, she can also be snarky at times when things just get too nonsensical.
  • Backstory:
    • Long ago, there was girl named Alua, who lived in a heavenly kingdom called Eto, atop the World Pillar (more or less the tree of life). She was appointed by the Senate of Eto to become their queen. She was not happy about this, as this forced her away from her family to a place where she is mocked for not being able to summon a guardian, a rite of passage for Eto Royalty. However, she used the time there to help everyone she can, and befriended a man named Syd. This changed when she was warned of a dark storm that would bring the end of days in a thousand years time. She wanted to warn the people below, in a placed called Hekseville, of this, and offered refugee in Eto, but many of the Senate were against this. This led to her, as well as Syd, to be betrayed by an advisor, and cast down from Eto. If it wasn't for the manifestation of her guardian, a cat, at the last second, they would have died.
    • It's hard to have a backstory when you have no memories, but that's the situation Kat finds herself in. Waking up in a mysterious city named Hekseville, a cat beside her and her memories missing. Taken up her name from what she was called by a local police officer named Syd, as well as a makeshift home inside a sewer system, and learning to manipulate gravity with the cat, which she named "Dusty" due to looking like space, she decided to help the city with it's problems. These included bringing chunks of it back from other dimensions, defeating master thieves, helping the police, dealing with monsters named the "Nevi", and generally being a nice person, all while dealing with her own issues, most notably in another gravity "shifter" named Raven, who seems to have it out for her. Through it all, she becomes Heckseville's hero, the "Gravity Queen". She also worked as a part-time maid during this period.
    • Though, as these stories often do, it's not that simple. Turns out Raven was just trying to help a group of lost children at the bottom of a large structure known as the world pillar get back to the surface. After a trippy vision quest that "opened her eyes" from one of the children who happened to claim to be a "creator" of the world, she was able to help the kids return, albiet they were comatose, earning Raven's trust and eventual friendship.
    • However, time works differently down below, due to time dillation via a large storm, and her few days down there translated to a year back above. Hekksville became more of a police state, lead by a not-at-all evil mayor. Trying to use a super-weapon powered by Nevi to claim power as well as defeat Nevi, which went about as well as one might expect, the police were helpless when it came to trying to solve the problem. With a little help from her friends, Kat managed to defeat the weapon, and the city was saved, everyone getting ice cream afterwards. You can also add "spy" and "government agent" to her resume during this time.
    • Of course, that didn't last, when an investigation into a gravitational disturbance and the disappearances of some orphaned children led into a skirmish with two mysterious figures, that ended with them exploding, causing the group to be separated into a gravity storm. While this normally would be where she'd end up with Syd with a bunch of minners, she instead wakes up in a new world, alongside Dusty. It seems history repeats itself with her, but at least she has some memories this time, and she isn't going to let it get in the way of helping the Frontier out, just as she did for Heckseville.
  • Powers/Abilities:
    • Shifter: Kat's what's known as a "Shifter", one who can manipulate gravity with a pet animal, and one of only two she knows alongside Raven with her Crow. This gives her gravity related powers, accompanied by a red glow and the appearance of a luminous heart-like pattern when using them, as long as she's with a healthy Dusty, including...
      • Gravity Shift: Kat's main ability. In basic terms, this changes the direction "down" is for her, allowing her to essentially fly (up to, for fairness's sake, 60 mph, as terminal velocity of 122 mph is more than a bit too fast), float, and walk on walls or the ceiling, all for a good twenty seconds before needing to stop and return to normal gravity for five. she can also boost herself to accelerate faster, in exchange for cutting down her flight time (still limited to 60 mph, but only for 15 seconds), which she uses to divekick enemies with what's dubbed the "Gravity Kick", her main form of offense. For the sake of balance, nothing else is affected by her shift besides herself and Dusty, unless they're affected by...
      • Stasis Field: Kat can produce a field three meters radius around her. Anything within it (with restrictions, such as only up to four objects, and each object having to be below 300 pounds) is lifted up, and can be thrown at enemies. Things affected by the stasis field are also affected by Gravity Shift as well, so this is as good for transport as it is for combat. People lifted via stasis can still do things, and the field brings people close enough that lifting an (especially armed) enemy and keeping them for more than a second is generally a bad idea that would lead to getting hurt. Plus, it comes out slow enough so that most people can get out of the way in time, so unless there's setup, you usually have to want to be lifted, or be tied up, to be a person affected by the stasis field.
      • Gravity Slide: For when flight isn't the best option, she can shift herself very slightly, allowing her to quickly (40 mph) slide around the place, as well as automatically go up curved surfaces, but has trouble with straight 90 degree walls. This lasts for up 30 seconds with the same five second rest needed afterward.
      • Spiraling Claw: A move where Kat spins around and shifts gravity to act like a drill, attacking enemies. This lasts for 10 seconds, and tuckers her out afterwards.
      • Gravity Typhoon: An enhanced version of stasis field, where Kat rapid-fires anything she can grab. Her range and weight limit is about the same as stasis field, but she can carry up to 12 objects with this, usually in waves of 4. This also lasts 10 seconds and tuckers her out.
      • Micro Black Hole: Despite the name, it doesn't actually suck anything up. When used, she turns herself into a mass of gravity, moves slowly, and anything 4 meters in diameter of her gets smacked with gravity, hurting moreso if the 1/2 meter diameter of the actual mass hits you. This lasts 7 seconds and once again tuckers her out.
  • Skills:
    • Martial Arts: Kat, even without her powers, does have quite a mean kick (enough to mine ore), which is what she mostly fights with, with the very occasional punch here or there. She's also quite nimble, able to dodge attacks, provided of course she can see them coming and actually be able to dodge them.
  • Equipment:
    • Dusty: Kat's kat... I mean cat and her Guardian. He's what gives her her gravity powers, and influences them. So if he's sick, the powers are weakened, if he's gone, no gravity powers, so on. He also gives her a certain degree of endurance, able to fall from farther distances and withstand higher pressure with him than without him.
  • Canon/Fanon: 95% Canon. 5% canonicity taken off due to the fact Kat and Dusty were separated from Raven and Syd in the Gravity Storm, as opposed to Kat and Syd being separated from Dusty and Raven, which has... implications on when/if she returns to her own world, but that's a worry for later. For the most part, she is her cannon self up to Episode 2 of Overture (the interquel anime short).
  • Territory/Followers: None yet. She lived in a sewer, she'll make it where she lands.

Alright, and that would be everything. Thanks for sticking so long, Don't be afraid to say if anything needs to be changed, these characters were tricky enough to balance as is.

Hmm, I'm kinda interested. Since the game is focused on world building and interacting, would it be problematic if I played absolute normies. On top of that, how many characters can we bring in? Something I have been wanting to do is play Persona 5's non-combat confidants. Particularly I would like to play Tae Takemi, Sadayo Kawakami, and Ichiko Ohya. If I can be absolutely greedy maybe Munehisa Iwai, Yuuki Mishima, and Sojiro Sakura or Hifume Togo as well. They are all just regular people, in fact Iwai might be the only person who could put up any kind of fight at all. They arn't going to change the world, but maybe they can help other characters do it. Basically I will just be playing npcs as pcs, normal people just trying to make a living for them selves in this developing world. (Oh, I can be a quest giver "Hmm...this curry is still missing something, go collect 10 bear butts for me."). I might be busy with other things to join the game, but I wanted to see my options at the very least.

@Boomer: Both Kokonoe and Kat are accepted.

@Neet: those are perfectly acceptable picks. Frontiers is a game that I envisioned to have something for everyone and even people without powers would be able to contribute to society building via interactions with other characters both PC and NPC so go ahead and make that quest giver you want!

This signup happens to contain a huge amount of major spoilers for Xenosaga, so I politely request that nobody spill the beans on the spoilered sections until I'm able to make in-universe Reveals. Thanks!

  • Name: chaos (lowercase, if you please), AKA Anima AKA Yeshua ben Nazereth
  • Age: Appears to be in his early twenties, but is in truth considerably older - specifically, as old as the human race.
  • Appearance: Excessive belts become popular circa 6000 Anno Domini. He is 169cm tall and weighs 53kg.
  • Universe: Xenosaga

  • Personality: Gentle, compassionate, and soft-spoken, chaos always tries to treat others with kindness and respect. His easy-going and contemplative nature has led some of his friends to accuse him of having his head in the clouds, but he displays a wisdom far beyond his apparent age. Even complete strangers regularly find his zen-like presence to be a calming and soothing influence, and are therefore comfortable opening up to him about their troubles, even problems of a personal nature. He greatly dislikes fighting and will generally opt for a peaceful solution if possible, but he is not unprepared to engage in combat for the sake of protecting others, if it comes down to it. He is also no stranger to death on the battlefield, though he will always pray afterward that the souls of his enemies, alive and dead, find peace. Lastly, although he has been attempting to break the habit lately, he has something of a deeply-ingrained bias toward inaction, even when action would be the more proper course to take.

  • Backstory: At an unspecified point in time before history, when human consciousness first came to be, a certain cosmic force called Anima arose out of humanity's Collective Unconscious and took humanoid form alongside his female counterpart, Animus, somewhere near the modern-day location of the Red Sea. Anima existed as a "failsafe" whose power would involuntarily destroy the "Lower Domain" of the universe if humanity's consciousness (the metaphorical glue holding the universe together) ever began to dissipate past a certain critical threshold of metaphysical entropy, the point being to prevent a cascading chain reaction that would destroy the "Higher Domain" and every other universe said domain was in contact with.

Many years afterward, near the beginning of CE, the pair became some of the innermost followers of a certain man who would be called the Messiah. Anima took on the name Yeshua ben Nazereth, whilst Animus took on the name Mary bat Magdala. The two personifications earnestly believed that man's teachings would lead to the betterment of humanity, whom they lived alongside. Yeshua utilized his powers to enact miracles and created Lemegeton, a sort of script which only he could read that siphoned down the infinite energy of the Higher Domain for use by humans. At some point, they attempted to use Lemegeton to create a utopia, but things went horribly awry and they instead almost destroyed the universe by activating Yeshua's failsafe. To prevent said apocalypse, Mary split the vast majority of Yeshua's power into twelve artifacts and died in the process, her own consciousness being shattered and scattering across the Collective Unconscious. Uncertain how to use his power after that disaster, he wandered the Earth for the next two thousand years, followed by Space for four thousand years, after humanity was forced to abandon Earth due to an experiment gone wrong. At some point, he re-christened himself as "chaos" in reference to the disorder that followed in the wake of his power.

After a long and distinguished stint in covert ops for the Galaxy Federation, he ended up working as a jack-of-all-trades on a cruise-ship-turned-space-freighter, and through an extremely complicated series of esoteric events filled with symbolism, further tragedy, and technobabble, all of which were orchestrated and otherwise manipulated by one individual for the sake of saving all of reality by iterating a time loop that encompassed the entire history of the universe, he finally encountered Mary once more, her consciousness having fully reformed within a new, robotic vessel named KOS-MOS. Ultimately, the pair rejected the aforementioned mastermind's plan, choosing instead to once again place their faith in humanity and believe that there was some other way to prevent the universe from being destroyed, and they both sacrificed themselves (again) to forestall the apocalypse (again) and to allow their other companions to live on in search of an answer. Being an undying cosmic force, however, chaos continued to exist as a disembodied consciousness, much to his surprise, and he began drifting through Space alongside KOS-MOS (who also survived in spite of heavy damage) on another long, long journey.

Then he was kidnapped by strange, extra-dimensional aliens for the sake of creating a reality TV show. While it was a refreshing change of pace from the inky blackness of Space, chaos didn't manage to accomplish much, and was ultimately whisked away by yet another mysterious force early on in the show's run.

  • Powers/Abilities:
    • Anthropomorphic Anima: A naturally destructive power which chaos involuntarily emits from his skin, but especially his hands, at all times. He can suppress the involuntary aspect almost entirely by means of clothing, which is why so much of his clothing is skintight, and in particular why he wears gloves (no word on why he has so many belts). By voluntary harnessing of this power through a modicum of concentration, on the other hand, he can accomplish various miraculous feats, including:
      • Curing sickness and poisons, exorcising curses, healing injuries - with a proportionate amount of energy expended based on the severity of the wound, though he cannot regrow lost limbs or create organs from nothing - and manifesting individual miniature bolts of lightning and small rains of head-sized hail out of nowhere. All of the aforementioned powers require about one or two seconds of concentration on his part to use.
      • By taking a certain stance and pushing his palms downward, manifesting a brief wave - up to thirty feet in width and able to be projected from several feet away - of downward kinetic force strong enough to floor ordinary human soldiers.
      • While holding his palm outward, shooting forth a quick and nearly-invisible, hand-sized pulse that can either exert kinetic force in proportion to the amount of energy he expends or disintegrate inanimate objects of up to human size without harming anything that may be stored inside (this includes making human-sized holes in larger objects). chaos may also deliberately make the pulse visible, in which case it can be seen as a sort of small orb or disc of light that pools in and then flies forth from his hand. In either case, the pulse fires in a straight line. Robots, golems, gargoyles, and other such animate beings are immune to disintegration by this power, as are essential personal effects owned by other PCs.
      • For esoteric reasons, this power also allows him to command demons and spirits, at least to the extent that he can force them to utterly freeze in their tracks by raising a hand. More importantly, actual contact with his hands is lethal to such beings, causing them to quickly dissipate. However, these particular powers are ineffectual on PCs and major NPCs, and may inexplicably fail when used on minor NPCs.
    • Metaphysiology: chaos does not age, and does not actually require food, drink, or even air to live, though he does need to sleep. Although he is fully aware of temperatures, he is also able to weather extreme heat and cold with ease. In fact, he can stand around perfectly well in the vacuum of Space without any protection and not suffer any ill effects. The only other notable (physical) differences he exhibits from normal people are an immunity to both motion-sickness and the physiological effects of G-force (of course, he is still subject to gravity itself), a reaction time and aiming abilities on superhuman levels, and an immunity to being turned into salt. He is in all other ways as squishy as a typical human being.
    • Teleportation: chaos is able to teleport short to middling distances without a need for preparation or any particular amount of concentration. He simply ceases to exist in one place and appears in another, silently and with no lightshow. However, he can only transport himself and non-living things on his person, and is subjected to certain restrictions. He cannot teleport to a place he has never been before.

  • Skills:
    • Covert Operator: chaos is adept at undertaking sensitive military missions involving sneaking, combat with small groups, and sabotage. Naturally, this means he is skilled in the use of all manner of firearms up through space-age tech, even though he seldom makes use of them, and due to the evolution of warfare in his universe, he is also a skilled mecha pilot.
    • Kung-Fu: chaos is highly experienced in a variety of martial arts designed for hand-to-hand and close quarters. Naturally, his fighting style is largely hand-focused rather than leg-focused. He's able to add extra kinetic oomph to his blows by letting some of his power pour forth from his hands during attacks.
    • Life Skills: The number of skills chaos has learned over the course of his life is rivaled only by the number of skills he has forgotten, largely due to so many of them becoming obsolete thanks to the onward march of 61st century technology. He could probably easily re-learn a number of things related to 21st century life and earlier with minimal time investment. For example: Breadmaking, Carpentry, Gravekeeping, Masonry, and Winemaking.
  • Equipment: Nothing notable.
  • Canon/Fanon: Fanon.
  • Territory/Followers:

  • Name: Saya Lambda-11
  • Age: Unknown, Possibly late 20s,
  • Appearance: Unarmored Armored
  • Personality: Lambda has two faces, one is a very caring person who is focused on protecting those she cares about, which mostly includes Ragna the Bloodedge and her Sector Seven allies. While the other is a dutiful soldier who doesn't question her orders and follows them to the letter so long as they don't conflict the previous ideal she keeps. She also has a great deal of trouble, outwardly expressing her emotions having been stripped of them for long peiriods of time throughout her life, this does give her the benefit of being calm, efficient and calculating when on a mission or in a fight.
  • Backstory: Lambda is a Prime Field Device, a machine created from the grisly fusion of man and metal, melted together in a cosmic furnace. Their purpose to connect to the Boundary, which is an otherworldly realm that is essentially a messy soup of spacetime in which various godlike machines reside. Specifically she is a Murakumo model Prime Field Device, and was used as a kind of stress test for the Murakumo Units. She was put through especially harsh experimentation and wasn't able to communicate her pain to the scientists which distressed her greatly. Eventually she was deemed a failure and thrown into permanent storage for years, even being left in the lab once the whole place was destroyed.
  • More years passed, possibly a decade or more, as Lambda sat under the rubble, slowly deteriorating, her status a Murakumo Unit being the only thing keeping her alive. That was until she was found by a certain enterprising feline scientist. She was restored and essentially programmed to follow Kokonoe's orders.
  • From then on, she got up to some pretty crazy shenanigans thanks to following Kokonoe's lead. Specfically coming into conflict with many of the big players in her universe, fusing with the soul of the current Murakumo Unit 13, and eventually meeting Ragna himself. Her personality started to come out and she sacrificed herself to give Ragna a chance to foil Yuki Terumi's plans.
  • She got better though, thanks to a whole lot of other strange shenanigans that I would have to write a novel to describe, but she was not a part that of so she's barely aware it. Point is she now has a second chance at life with all her soul completely intact and must now deal with that.
  • Powers/Abilities: Lambda's body is essentially a mesh of living metal that very convincingly imitates human flesh. As a result she is stronger, faster, and more durable than a normal human. This also gives her the unique ability to continue to fight at peak abilities until she's suffered an especially critical wound. She also seems to have auto repair protocols programmed in, giving her a measure or regeneration but this can be overcome if she's hit hard enough. Additionally she can go long periods without the normal things a human needs before her condition starts to deteriorate.
    • Levitation: Lambda can cause herself to levitate likely through some form of gravity manipulation targeted on herself.
    • Analysis: Her mind essentially being an extremely high end super computer she can quickly collect information on a target and reference it against an extensive internal database to determine the level of threat it poses to herself and others. It will take her a while to collect any truly conclusive data on all the new crap that's likely to appear in game.To elaborate: Her Analysis includes the ability to detect levels of magic as well as recognizing weaponry and general combat ability.
    • Long-Range Teleportation: After a few moments of charging and also determining proper coordinates, Lambda can teleport across vast distances. I am totally okay with this being disallowed but I will say that it takes too long to be used in combat, and can only really be used on herself.
  • Skills: Lambda herself is skilled in hand to hand combat, as well as swordplay, she is also a decent cook.
  • Equipment:
  • '''Nox Nyctores, Lux Sanctus:Murakumo:''' Lambda wouldn't be a Murakumo unit without her own copy of well, the Murakumo. Appearing initially as a sword shaped case that can be summoned and floats behind her it opens up on her command and incases Lambda in the signature armor of a Murakumo Unit. Of course this gives her some extra protection but it also also gives her access to her main combat abilities which are a set of ten swords, two that are attached to her arms and eight that float behind her like wings. They can't go far from her so she generally uses them to by getting in close and making sweeping motions with multiple blades, while adding in punches and kicks as needed. Additionally this gives her greater control over gravity, instead of just making herself levitate she can create a ten foot diameter circle of increased or decreased gravity. Her main ability, however is to summon incredibly sharp ethereal swords from any direction, within twenty feet of her. They aren't so fast that they are impossible to dodge but an enemy facing her will have to really stay on their toes.
  • Idea Engine: A device created for and implanted into Lambda by Kokone, it essentially amplifies all of her abilities. Normally she is much weaker than a normal Murakumo unit but this allows her to compete with the others. By overclocking it, she can for a short time allow herself to summon bigger more powerful blades but this only lasts a few seconds before needing to cool down.
  • Territory/Followers:None, likely not to get any unless some extraordinary event occurs.

  • Age: Ageless. Very, very old, in any case.

  • Appearance: There she is. Though much shorter than her fellow Diamonds, its worth noting that she is significantly taller than a human.

  • Universe: Steven Universe

  • Personality: Considering she comes from a world of Gems, Pink is fairly ignorant when it comes to many of the customs and needs of organic life. Nonetheless, she is a friendly and caring person who just wants to do her best to put her title as a conquerer behind her.

  • Backstory: There is literally no way to talk about this character without spoilers, I’ve tagged the relevant spoilers for those who haven’t caught up with SU yet.

Pink Diamond was a member of a group known as the Diamond Authority, a brutal and totalitarian regime consisting of four Diamonds who go around the universe, conquering planets and mining them dry for resources. They ruled over Gem Homesworld with an iron fist, forcing them into a rigid caste system depending on the circumstances of their birth. Pink’s one and only colony was Earth, and seeing the lifeforms on the planet caused her to gradually question if the Diamond’s way of doing things is moral.

The one, but very big and important difference from canon is that Pink Diamond never became Rose Quartz in this continuity, and she didn't ask Pearl to stage her death. The Gem rebellion against the Diamonds still happened, but it was spearheaded by Pink under her Diamond identity. Because of this, she also never met Greg or gave birth to Steven, but as a trade-off the Crystal Gems in this verse are considerably more emotionally stable without that massive lie regarding PD's identity hanging over their head.

  • Powers/Abilities:

    • Physical Traits: Gems are exceptionally strong, hardy and somewhat quick compared to organics.

    • Weapon Summoning: Pink has a sword and shield that she can summon at any time, both of which are large and very pink.

    • Shapeshifting: Gems have the ability to take a variety of forms, though she retains her bright pink hue no matter how much she changes her appearance.

    • Healing: Pink's unique gem ability is that she can heal people's wounds. As usual, she can't heal anything that would be fatal for the sake of balance.

    • Flotation: Pink can control her descent, making her light as a feather whilst falling.

    • Watermelon Steven Pink: Pink can grow sentient flora that act as her guardians.

    • Bubbling: She can also bubble inanimate objects in pink forcefields. They're not unbreakable, but they make the objects within very difficult to access if you don't break it with some sort of weapon/powers.

    • Gemstone creation: Pink can take dirt and form it into various (nonliving) gemstones.

  • Skills: She has experience leading a military force and using a sword.

  • Equipment: Her sword and shield.

  • Canon/Fanon: Fanon. The differences are in the spoiler'd part of the Backstory section.

  • Territory/Followers:

    • Blue and Yellow Diamond, her sisters who are of comparable power to her. She can fuse with them to become more powerful. Blue has a detailed sheet, while Yellow has the standard Diamond powers and Electrical powers as well.

      • 35 Fire Emblem Villagers
      • 35 Darcsen
      • 10 Gothamites

  • Name: Gracia Ul Naga Saillune AKA Naga the White Serpent AKA Naga the Serpent
  • Age: 20
  • Appearance: Image The best guess I can find for her height is that she's around 6'3".
  • Universe: Slayers
  • Personality: Her personality has been best described as "unstable but resilient." Possessing a monstrous ego, Naga's personality is practically dripping with arrogance, overconfidence, self-aggrandizing rarely, if ever, seen in humans. Her selfishness and vanity are only held back by the fact that she is, somehow, heroic - to an extent - instead of a villain. Despite being the crown princess, she never lords her royalty over others, but at the same time never shows the deference typical of commoners when speaking to other royalty or people of power. She also has a severe aversion to blood and could even faint at the sight.
  • Backstory: The first daughter of the kingdom of Saillune's crown prince Philionel El Di Saillune, Naga is heir to the throne and princess of Saillune. When she was around 16 years old, her mother was killed by the famed assassin Booley, who Naga walked in on and immediately killed with a spell of her own creation - Chaos String. After her mother's funeral, she took a mage's outfit from the late queen's closet and set out on the road for a life of adventure, finding treasures to loot, monsters to slay, redheads to rival, and forbidden magics to learn.
  • Powers/Abilities:
    • Physical traits: Naga is strong enough to throw around tall, hulking men in heavy armor around without great strain, fast and agile enough to outrun a horse and cast spells while jumping long distances or rolling, can survive fireballs and explosions, can run all day and night (such as chasing after Lina Inverse), and has fast enough reflexes to start throwing down spells in response to threats like oncoming fireballs and magic arrows. She possesses such inhumanly insatiable hunger and thirst that she could eat enough to make an elephant blush and drink enough to give a whale alcohol poisoning, and still order more from her likely-terrified waiter.
    • Magic: Naga is a highly intelligent and skilled mage who knows a diverse host of spells, curses, wards, signs, and the like. Listing every spell and she could possibly use is infeasible, but her powers tend to fall into three main schools of magic, and each school has a range of effects they can produce while adjusting energy usage, effect strength, and time requirements.
      • Most spells require incantations, but they can be recited mentally instead of verbally, though saying them out loud cuts down on casting time. As a general rule, the more powerful a spell, the more time it takes her to cast it, or the more concentration it takes to keep it active. For example, she can use the raywing spell to fly herself and others at high speed, but it requires most of her concentration, while she can use the levitate spell to fly herself at more reasonable speeds, but requires such a small fraction of the concentration that she can easily cast other spells while doing so. Likewise she can cast a basic version of the freeze arrow spell, which is essentially just an ice-element arrow, with effectively no incantation and minimal effort, but.
      • Wards are another type of magic, which instead of focusing on spellcasting, require the drawing of wards beforehand. The size of the ward affects the area of effect and energy usage. A ward only a couple of yards in diameter could be set to function similarly to a landmine with little energy, while a ward covering a city block could be used to prevent massive magical outbursts but drains significantly from her magic pool.
    • Shamanistic Magic: This is magic that uses the five elements: fire, air/lightning, water/ice, earth, and astral. The first four elements are fairly self-explanatory, manipulating or manifesting those natural elements in some way. Astral element refers to spells that manipulate the astral plane, and they tend to damage astral entities, magical things, or spirits but not have much effect on the real world. For all of these elements, she can also manipulate them in a way to create a semi-intelligent golem, such as a stone dragon or plasma dragon, though the more complicated and powerful golems tend to either be misshapen (such as a giant earth dragon having a massive head but a very small, off-balance body) or require a lot of further magical interference to command (like telling an astral dragon to use its breath attack on someone).
    • White Magic: White magic is made up of spells that heal, protect and exorcise evil spirits, and a handful of offensive spells. Healing involves using the energy of the target at a base level, or drawing energy from people nearby for more advanced applications. Protection ranges from making a protective shield or aura, to a large barrier, anti-magic, dispel techniques, and that type of thing. Exorcism tends to have things like dispelling ghosts, spells that attack demons/undead, and general cleric utilities. There's also a few things not covered by those three main categories, such as creating a floating light of varying intensity. It also seems to have rope-manifestation as a focus category, such as Naga's own Chaos String spell, which shoots razor-sharp strings at someone, or binding spells that conjure ropes to tie people with.
    • Black Magic: Black magic is mostly offensive spells, the majority of which just cause an explosion of some sort. Unlike the other types of magic where she's experienced and mastered using them, she's less skilled with black magic so the explosions she can cause with it are on the smaller side.
    • Nama: A result of botching her wish from her Permit of Perpetuity, whenever Naga would be unconscious she stops being Naga and instead turns into the adventurer Nama. Nama is a living suit of armor who has all of Naga's powers, but lacks the majority of Naga's memories. The main difference from Naga is that as a suit of armor, she can lose pieces of herself and be fine, as long as her head isn't significantly damaged. And she can exert a telepathic "tug" on her components to pull them back together if she has a piece fall off. Nama only stays around as long as Naga would have been asleep for, and then poofs back out of existence, swapping places with Naga again.
  • Skills:
    • Laughter: Naga possess an incredibly powerful noblewoman's laugh, one filled with so much self-superiority and extreme overconfidence in herself. It is so grating that it can spook animals and townspeople people.
    • Brawling: Despite being a spellcaster, Naga has training in fighting up close, and can do all sorts of throws, punches, kicks, grabs, jabs, and the like. She also has some training in the 'pacifist' martial arts by her father - a fighting style that seems to mostly involve punching things really hard.
      • Pacifist Crush: The most powerful non-magical attack in Naga's arsenal, and the ultimate pacifist attack, Naga strikes out with all of her strength in one massive, monstrous punch that can send even hulking demons flying.
    • Tome Creation: By practically applying her unparalleled genius, her magical abilities, and her know-how for making wards, Naga cracked how to create tomes, scrolls, staves, and rods from the Fire Emblem world.
  • Equipment:
    • Sword: It's a sword, probably a longsword. She doesn't really use it for stabbing (and drawing blood), but it's useful for blocking.
    • Armor: She wears pauldrons with massive spikes to protect her shoulders... though usually she just winds up stabbing herself in the face with them during frantic spellcasting.
    • Pouch: A cloth pouch that is used for the important role of "holdin' stuff". She usually has a few gold coins in there, and a book detailing all of the important hotsprings in her world.
  • Canon/Fanon: Canon
  • Territory:
    • Adventurer's Guild: The former Guild Meeting Hall of Log Horizon. Contains a village with 30 villagers, a Wendy's, dozens of standard clay/stone golems, and six tall golems made from statues of women. The determined villager class changes/promotions so far are:
      • 2 Blacksmiths
      • 2 Maids
      • 1 Butler
      • 3 Merchants
      • 3 Mechanists
      • Quest Board: A board where people can put/take quests. Has a guild girl assigned to talking about requests and stuff.
      • Adventurer's Shop: A shop selling torches/lanterns/ropes/flints/knives/kindling/smoke bombs/signal flares/canteens/hard tack/boots/etc for adventurers. Ten foot poles, too!
      • Magic Shop: Sells magical items usable by Fire Emblem classes, up to B rank. Magical tomes were created from used Playboy magazines, while scrolls were made by taking the centerfolds out of said Playboys. Rods and staves were created using lengths of lead pipes, fire hydrants, and Ragnaid staves. B rank tomes were made with old copies of Hustler, while B rank rods and staves were constructed with shovels and (light) sledgehammers.
      • Naga Coins: New currency consisting of gold coins with Naga's face printed on them (and a dragon's tail on the flipside) made from a bunch of gold stolen from bandits. Half of it was given to Juri, while the rest was adapted for use in the Adventurer's Guild.
      • Merchant Couple: A no-nonsense middle-aged couple who run the Adventurer's Guild's Adventurer's Shop. The wife deals with more magical goods and the husband deals with more mundane fare.
      • Guild Gal: A completely original character who tends to the job board.
      • As of the 2-week timeskip, there are 300 Darcsens moved into the guild hall building, just... chilling.
      • Grizzly set up a bar for drinking and stuff.
      • Camoa Portal: A portal that was set up by the Moogles as a quick way of teleporting to the city of Camoa.
      • Fisher Cat Island Portal: Another portal set up to go to Fisher Cat Island. It's a small island. There are some cats. They fish for fish using harpoon guns. That's about it.
      • The Lin squad: A team of five red-headed firebender women with a propensity for extreme violence, (code)named Linb, Linc, Lind, Line, and Linf. Exactly
      • 5 Earthbenders
      • 10 Metalbenders
      • 5 Waterbenders
      • Thirty normal people from the Earth Kingdom
      • This list excludes other residents who also live in the Adventurer's guild, such as Juri and the people training at her dojo, as well as anyone living in one of the many rooms in the guild.
    • Wendolyn: A Fire Emblem villager taken on as Naga's sorceress apprentice, also runs Wendy's and manages money and stuff. Promoted to Witch Class.
    • Playboy collection: Quite possibly the largest collection of playboy magazines on the planet. They were converted to tomes and scrolls.
    • Albedo (clone): The result of using her second Permit of Perpetuity on the "perfect" assistant, Albedo is a quirky familiar who has absolute loyalty to Naga. And a whole lot of loose marbles - to the point that her assistance will usually be misguided or inefficient. She has retractable wings and improved agility so she can keep up with Naga wherever she goes; is super durable, able to endure a surreal amount of punishment in stride, including physical and magical, along with an immunity to disease; knows a great deal of spells for protecting herself, an area, or another person, as well as a thrice-daily "ultimate" protection spell; her 'transposition' spell is a short-range bodyguard spell that lets her swap places with an ally in order to take blows meant for them; her parry skills even let her ricochet projectiles back at whoever is shooting her. She has the optional armor set and an axe which she can conjure and enough strength to at lest make some serious cuts in armor with that axe of hers. She can summon a magical twin-horned horse known as a bicorn, though it's not much help as it refuses to let any virgins ride it. She's operating on what you might call "Episode 1" blank slate, being freshly-created by the Frontiers as an NPC instead of being an established character transported to it.

  • Name: Macbeth mac Findlaech / "Lennox Macduff"
  • Age: Almost 1000 years old. (Born 1005)
  • Appearance: Enter Macbeth.
  • Universe: Gargoyles
  • Personality: Formerly the king of Scotland, Macbeth is bound by honor. He does not tolerate bigotry, a common trait among humans in his world, and refuses to stoop to attacking an opponent who cannot fight back. To strangers, allies, and enemies alike, he is polite but aloof. Contrary to the works of a certain playwright, Macbeth was a fair and just king during his tenure. He has grown weary of his life under the effect of immortality, though this may prove to change.
  • Backstory:

    • Macbeth was born in the year 1005, as the son of Findlaech, High Steward of the province of Moray, in the Kingdom of Scotland. By 1020, thanks to his father's popularity and influence, as well as the backing of his uncle Bodhe, Macbeth easily became a favored potential heir to the throne of Scotland by 1020. Prince Duncan saw Findlaech's backing of his son as a threat towards him winning the throne so he hired the mercenary/assassin Gillecomgain to infiltrate Castle Moray and assassinate Findlaech. One night, Gillecomgain infiltrated Castle Moray and battled Findlaech. Despite his son's intervention, Findlaech was killed after being thrown of a balcony, and Gillcomgain would have also killed Macbeth if not for the untimely intervention of a vengeful female gargoyle named Demona.

    • Demona and Gillecomgain were old enemies, and while she could have easily let Macbeth die during the fight, Demona saved the young Macbeth's life. Gillecomgain escaped to inform Duncan that his assassination attempt was successful, and Prince Duncan was crowned king. In 1032, Duncan, having decided that Macbeth was still a threat to his claim to the throne ordered Gillecomgain to assassinate Macbeth as well. When Gillecomgain refused, Duncan told Macbeth that Gillecomgain was Findlaech's murderer, which motivated Macbeth to move against Gillecomgain at once. The Weird Sisters, a trio of powerful sorceresses, arranged for Macbeth and Demona to fight against Gillecomgain together and defeat him. After Gillecomgain's death, Macbeth became High Steward of Moray and married his long-time love Gruoch.

    • In 1040, the Sisters intervened in Macbeth's life again, prophesying before Duncan that Macbeth would someday become King of Scotland. Duncan, his suspicions reawakened, moved against Macbeth at once. Macbeth's own forces were outnumbered, and so in desperation, he sought help from Demona, who was herself being attacked by Duncan and his followers. Demona was initially reluctant to remain Macbeth's ally, until the Weird Sisters stepped in and offered to rejuvenate Demona if she would accede. They transferred Macbeth's youth to her, with his consent, and in the process, magically bound the two of them together for the rest of their lives. With the aid of Demona's Clan, Macbeth overthrew and slew Duncan in battle, and was crowned High King of Scotland upon the Stone of Destiny. He promptly made peace with the gargoyles, gave Demona her name, and appointed her his primary advisor.

    • For seventeen years, Macbeth ruled Scotland in peace, and both humans and gargoyles thrived under him. But in 1057, Duncan's son Canmore made common cause with the English, and invaded Scotland to regain his father's throne. Demona deserted Macbeth's ranks soon after, as she believed Macbeth was going to betray her. Thanks to the desertion of Demona and her clan, Canmore was able to easily sack Castle Moray. When Macbeth and Gruoch escaped the castle, Canmore and Demona both confronted them; while Macbeth angrily berated Demona for betraying him, Canmore stabbed him in the back. Both Macbeth and Demona were temporarily slain.

    • The Weird Sisters awakened Macbeth and Demona after their temporary demise, and told them the terms of their link to each other, revealing that they were now immortal. Macbeth and Demona parted ways. Macbeth wished to continue the fight against Canmore, but Gruoch persuaded him that his return from the dead would appear to verify Canmore's accusations that Macbeth was involved in sorcery, and urged him to leave Scotland. Macbeth sadly parted from her, never to meet her again, and began the life of a lonely wanderer. Over the centuries he pursued Demona, first to gain revenge upon her, but increasingly to find release for himself from his unwanted immortality. Macbeth has grown weary of his long life, and he knows that the only way for it to end is for he to slay Demona - or she to slay him.

    • By the 1990s, Macbeth had taken on the alias of Lennox Macduff, a medieval scholar living near Manhattan. Around this time, Macbeth attained a sizable fortune, and became knowledgeable in both science and sorcery. In New York, Macbeth got involved with local businessman David Xanatos, who transported a clan of Gargoyles to Manhattan. Macbeth had multiple encounters with the gargoyles, though he was never successful in killing his hated enemy Demona. He even battled King Arthur over possession of the legendary Excalibur, which ended with the two kings becoming allies. Macbeth grew less and less active as the 90s continued, growing content to remain as Lennox Macduff.

  • Powers/Abilities:
    • Immortality: Macbeth normally is conditionally immortal and immune to death, with his only release being that he kills or is killed by Demona. Per the rules of this RP, he does not have this ability, and will die if someone or something kills him normally.
    • Will-O-The-Wisp: Macbeth can use magic to conjure up this living ball of light. The Will-O-The-Wisp acts as a scout for Macbeth, capable of conveying what it sees and hears back to its summoner.
  • Skills:
    • Peak Human: Even though Macbeth appears to be middle aged, having sacrificed his youth to restore Demona's as part of the pact he'd made, he is an exceptional athlete in peak physical condition.
    • Martial Arts: Macbeth is a capable fighter, capable of taking on powerful beasts such as gargoyles in hand-to-hand combat.
    • Swordsman: Macbeth was born as royalty in the 11th century, and as such, is quite proficient in the use of the sword.
    • Technological Proficiency: Due to his extended lifespan and the vast fortune he has amassed over the centuries, Macbeth has become well versed in various areas of science and technology.
  • Equipment:
    • Smoke Bombs: These small, pearly-white spheres can contain tear gas or knockout gas. They are normally hidden in Macbeth's coat.
    • Frag Grenades: Self-explanatory.
    • High-Tech Pistol(s): These guns can shoot electrified nets that subdue their targets without lethal injury, long blasts of electricity, or plasma beams powerful enough to break stone bricks.
  • Canon/Fanon: Canon.
  • Territory/Followers: Nothing for now.

  • Name: Raven Darkholme aka Mystique.

  • Age pshycally young adult. But she is actually much older. More than 100 years old at least.
  • Appearance: That's her! (well if you manage to glance at her true form anyway).
  • Personality:
    • Mystique can be best described as a morally grey individual. She is a lot more idealistic, lighthearted and extroverted, kind and less “dramatic”, than in most versions, despite her flaws. She is person with good intentions, but with horrible methods. She does have a moral code, and she is willing to fight against injustice, but to the extremes, people would see her as a terrorist, or even a criminal. She hates superficial, amoral people and bigots. However. She is her own worst enemy due to her self loathing, and is known to hold grudges and dissulusiomnent of the bigotry of humanity. She does, however, take huge delight in trolling people with her shapeshifting as her mischievous side. Mystique can also show to be indifferent to the external appearance when judging a person.
    • She is also a bit ashamed of her true blue form, and is scared of rejection.
  • Backstory :
    • After her powers manifested, she quickly became disillusioned on how humans treat people differently and better solely their external appearance. Before her powers manifested she was a bit of an ugly duckling and a bit unpopular until she got her blue form. A crush broke her heart, rejecting her in her pre mutant form, but accepting her as a shapeshifted form beautiful form. She refused to join Xavier’s school for gifted mutants, opting instead to join the controversial cult known as the brotherhood of mutants committing many crimes in the name of “equality” and “justice”. She has also been the target of bigotry and irrational hate due to the fact that she is a mutant.
  • Powers:
    • Shapeshifting: Can transform and mimic any human/humanoid beings and animals being perfectly including their age, gender, Clothing, height and smell, as such she is able to fool any being with super senses or even machines like retina scanners. She can't, however, copy special powers and she can't alter her body mass beyond what's reasonable for a human-humanoid.
      • Non human features imitation: She can imitate certain non human body parts like tails, and feathers, and wings, via altering her skeleton.
      • Inorganic features imitation. She can imitate, gems, metal or even claws. However in the case of none biological is mostly cosmetic and it wouldn’t grant her new powers. Say she could imitate wolverine’s claws, but they wouldn’t be as durable as the real deal. If she imitated a thick tail, it would be as strong as her arm.
    • Camouflague Altough she can’t turn invisible, she can blend with the enviroment like a chameleon would or even transparent like a glass of water. However this is not invisibility and a sharp eyed person will be able to spot or hear her.
    • Flight: Courtesy of her shapeshifting. She can shapeshift wings and fly as it can be seen here.
    • Superhuman agility and reflexes: Mystique has absolute control of her body, meaning she is as flexible as a any contortionist
    • Agelessness: Doesn't age.
    • Accelerated healing factor : She isn't Wolverine, and she can’t heal during combat. But she could reasonable heal (out of combat) what would take days in hours, and what would take hours in minutes. She can’t regrow lost limbs.
  • Peak human Due to the fact that she can mimic any human ever she is also able to be as strong, durable and fast as any human being. Tought not nessesarily at the same time.
  • Items :
    • Arsenal of guns: Mystique has an arsenal of weapons including pistols, assault rifles, and even sniper rifles, and rocket launchers and the ammunition required to load them
    • Swords, Katanas and knifes. Rarely used by her, but she does know how to use them.
  • Skills:
    • Multilingualism: She is fluent in several languages including Spanish, French, and Japanese.
    • Expert Martial artist:: She has mastered several martial arts, and even boxing as methods of self defense, and is also able to use melee weapons like swords and nunchakus.
    • :Piloting skills:: She is able to pilot most ships and land-based vehicles.
    • :Oscar worthy Acting skills:: She is an expert at imitating the mannerisms of anyone or even create a character on the spot and feing emotions as needed.
    • Canon/Fanon: Fanon (mostly based on the fox xmen universe).
    • Territory/Followers: None.

Sorry for double posting, but I'll bite.

Species Name: Xurkitree, nickname to be designated later if applicable
Age: Young, presumably, but mostly unknown
Appearance: Handsome devil, ain't he?
Universe: Mainline Pokemon Games
Personality: When outside of its natural environment, this creature is naturally very curious about the world around it, often times trying with everything around it. However, it will often prioritize anything that either gives out and/or is a source of electricity. When an environment has a lot of low level electricity in the atmosphere, it will act out in a state of constant bliss, expressed through constantly skipping along the ground towards and/or in the area with the highest concentrations of electricity. It is also receptacle to being given instruction, and seemingly enjoys being in the company of other lifeforms........any that have natural bioelectricity, that is. When there are times when there is copious amount of electricity raining down, such as during lightening storms, it will plant itself into the ground until the electricity stops and/or if the creature itself gets bored, regardless of anything else and dropping anything it was doing previously beforehand.

Despite its friendly demeanor, the creature will often not realize the full extent of it full power, sometimes electrocuting and/or harming others without realizing it is harming them, and it can be extremely oblivious to its surroundings, causing accidents and damage just because it curious about something. When told it did something wrong, it tries not to do again.

Unfortunately, it can not handle negative emotions and/or high stress situations well. At all. Any given situation that causes large amounts of stress, most often being yanked out of its home dimension via unstable interdimensional wormholes, it automatically defaults into attacking and destroying everything in sight, friend or foe. The only way to snap it out of its destructive tantrum to defeat it in battle to the point of knocking it unconscious, after which it is immediately calm, seemingly forgetting about whatever it was that freaked it out in the first place. When battling someone, whether for fun and/or actually defending itself, it has a surprisingly amount of focus, and despite its obliviousness, does recognize when something it legitimately hostile, usually only attacking when being attacked first.

Backstory: The home dimension of the Xurkitree species is an Earth like planet that is completely covered by a thick layer of thunder clouds that block out the sun and constantly emit lightening. While the planet itself is capable of sustaining life, the sheer amount of electricity given off by the cloud layer immediately kills off any lifeforms that go above ground, thus a vast majority of organisms live underground. There are only two exceptions.

The first are, of course, the Xurkitree species itself, as they as the only lifeforms that have evolved the ability to withstand the powerful and constant barrage of lightening given off by the cloud cover, planting themselves into any sort of solid ground to let the electricity hit them. In fact, they thrive off the electricity, as it actually allows the species to grow and reproduce over time if it plants in a single spot for long enough, similar to trees. Also similar to trees and plants, a single Xurkitree can grow up to heights of hundreds of feet, dwarfing even most skyscrapers, over the course of centuries, even millenia if it wished.

The second exception are any lifeforms that live under a Xurkitree. As the creatures are essentially living lightening rods, it allows life to flourish above ground unperturbed above the cloud cover's constant electricity as long as they stay under the Xurkitree. Depending on how big a single Xurkitree is when planted in a spot, it is entirely possible for entire ecosystems to rise up and become sustained underneath said Xurkitree, often with smaller Xurkitree giddily running about without a care and planting themselves as well to provide even further protection. Most creatures in these ecosystems, in particular apex predators, completely ignore the Xurkitree if possible due to how necessary the wire trees are in their survival, and if something does attack them, the Zurkitree are perfectly capable of defending itself and, most likely, killing their attackers. Thus, the sheer necessity of them for the survival of all other above ground creature make Xuritree the dominant species by default.

However, even the gigantic, small country encompassing Xurkitree are fickle enough to get bored sitting in a single spot for so long, or die of old age, losing their ability to absorb electricity in death. Whether by natural death or by simply uprooting itself to find another place it live, any other lifeforms that was living underneath it, including entire ecosystems, WILL be completely annihilated by the planet's constant stormy weather, with only spots where small Xurkitree have planted themselves being spared. The almost constant cycle of rebirth and inevitable destruction as governed by the mood of a wire like plant creatures is what prevents sapient life from evolving in this dimension.

The particular Xurkitree that will appear is an average, normal member of its species, skipping along happily through the forests under the cover of it far more massive grandparent and slightly small parents, stopping only to curiously interact with any other creatures it found. But then, so many of its brethren, became just another victim of Ultra Space......

Powers/Abilities:

  • Electricity Manipulation: It naturally has the ability to not only absorb ridiculous amounts of electricity, it also has the ability to shoot it out as well. However, while it does not have a known upper limit to how much, it can overload itself if it tries to absorb the equivalent to the output of a nuclear power plant too quickly. It can also emit other forms of energy as a means of offensive capability, but mostly it relies on electricity. Because it feeds on electricity, it is highly resistant to electrical and lightening based attacks, but it can only outright nullify it if it plants itself in the ground, but for some reason never does this as a defensive maneuver in battle.

  • Battling: As a Pokemon, Xurkitree as an innate knack for battle, using various attacks. However, despite having the actual instinct for it, it relies mostly on animal instincts to fight and lacks anything remotely close to coherent strategy. It will follow the orders of someone it trusts and knows how to fight with it, though. While its projectile attack strength is extremely strong and possibly lethal depending on the strength of its target, its actual melee capabilities are higher than middling, at best, slightly slower than a professional athletic runner, and can only withstand getting hit by a sedan going at 45 miles per hour at best. It makes up for its lack of defense with impressive dodging skill, though, and it is resistant to metal and wind based attacks as well. Its only weakness are any type of attacks that heavily involves use of the ground, earth, and soil, which can be devastating depending on how and the severity of the attack. Oddly enough, it does not suffer any additional damage from getting hit by rocks and/or rock based attacks, but its low defense makes this fact moot, anyway.
    • Current Attack List: Hypnosis (Psychic), Discharge (Electric), Electric Terrain (Electric), Power Whip (Grass)
    • Beast Boost: Innate ability the species shares with other Ultrabeasts that increases the capabilities of their most powerful attribute after knocking an opponent unconscious, stacks up with every successive knocked out opponents up to six times total, and lasts until the end of the battle. As Xurkitree's most powerful attribute is its projectile attack output, this ability allows it to utterly destroy whatever it is fighting unless they can sufficiently defend and/or can knock it out quickly enough. However, certain abilities, energies, and chemicals have the ability to completely nullify this ability, and Xurkitree will automatically lose any enhancements if the ability is already in effect.

  • Move Learning: As it is a Pokemon, Xurkitree has the ability to learn a variety of different attacks through the use of devices call Technical Machines, through a person specializing in teaching attacks to Pokemon, and while it is holding special crystals called Z-Crystals. Many of these attack include those the creature cannot learn naturally, but it can only learn up to four of these special at a time, including those it can learn naturally. While the attacks it can use with Z-Crystals, called Z-Moves, are devastating in the own right, it can only use these attacks ONCE PER BATTLE, and ONLY if the type of a Z-Crystal matches the type of the move it can use (ie can only use the Electric Type Z-Move while holding an Electrium Z crystal, etc.) Another major drawback is that Xurkitree itself requires someone else to use T Ms upon it in order to learn the moves, and even then they need at the very least rudimentary knowledge in computer interface to properly work the mechanic behind it. Also, Z-Crystals are exceptionally rare, and Xurkitree cannot have access the power of all varieties.

Skills: Aside from the inexplicable ability to dance, none initially. Can be taught to use rudimentary tools and martial arts, though.

Equipment: None
Canon/Fanon: Fanon; this is entirely from my own observations and research of the character as well as fluff to fill in the gaps.
Territory/Followers: None; will probably follow around the first person that defeats it and/or befriended it.

FINISHED!!

Just a quick thing. I edited mystique’s age so she is now as old as she in canon!

On hindsight it was a bad idea to make her younger.

I saved a copy before the edits as evidence I didn’t change anything else

To Desdendelle: As we've discussed it, no, the Chosen Undead wouldn't be defined enough.
