The Replica. Even Maleficent casted doubt when they tried saying it was Riku from the past whrn Riku didnt vanish(Vexen also vanishes when he joins).

Not entirely sure why it needed to be Repliku? Perhaps to provide a new body for Namine, but Even could have just whipped up a fresh one.

Now, if he had, say, gotten caught and executed by the Norts, that would have been a different story, but that’s not what happened.

Not really a huge problem or anything - I suppose I just feel like Riku-Answm would have been a bit more interesting...although perhaps it would have been a Replica body either way, so...

I mean it's a Replica either way so...

They had data on Replica Riku, and the whole point was to fill the empty spots they need with Replicas.

Secret Report even answers Replicas are always incomplete so digitizing the heart to implant them in one doesn't work, which was the source of Riku Replicas issues and Riku Replica too was still the Beta Test Baddie. They need a *Spark* to truly complete them.

This also seems to be why Xion didn't get her appearance until Sora/Roxas (in Japanese)say her name. The Organization made a second Xion but she didn't truly become Xion until she got the spark.

I was just amused that Nomura was that lacking in creativity.

Riku's arc can be described as a rehash pretty aptly

Sora's too but that's mostly cause he tends to revisit KH 1 things a bit too much

listen when you already have the data for one you might as well use it especially if it can fuck with the light's minds. im just glad it was repliku 1.0 and he got to go out a hero

Rikus whole thing has always been him protecting his bf Sora. Thats been part of his arc through the story since he sought redemption too. He tried and failed when it mattered most to protect him during the Demon Tide fiasco, and now it looks like hell protect be protecting Namine too.

Basically KH own equivalent of Ignis that looks like Noctis.

Agreed about that last bit. He didn't do much, but at least he got the chance to go out on his own terms this time.

As for why people think the Foretellers will be evil, they're the black pieces on Xehenorts side of the board in the "new game".

As for good new tracks, the Scala Ad Caelum music is great. I love it.

Shame that it's barely in the game.

Actually, add a return to Scala Ad Caelum to my DLC wishlist.

Because there's already 5 Xehanorts in the True Org. Might was well keep grabbing more.

Xehanort didn't want to do it but he got vetoed by him and Xehanort.

Yes, but all those Xehanorts are pretty much different characters. Evil Riku's just Ansem using Riku as a meat puppet.

I'm just amused Ansem doesn't use Come Guardian anymore in his fights because otherwise he'd have too much overlap with Terranort.

He can't anyway because of Terra getting freed.

Were they sharing the Guardian between each other?

One gets Guardian on Mon, Tue, Wed and the other gets him on the rest of the days.

Terranort doesn't use the Guardian in III, just Ansem. Presumably the Guardian just runs off from Ansem to go fuck up Terranort.
