Granted all of this means little cause no one was suppose to remember the first war to begin with
Pagetopper To be wise!

My favorite part of this plan is that Xehanort thinks that people will be like, "Holy shit, it's Kingdom Hearts!" "Yeah, and it's mine, motherf*cker! GANKED!" "Agh! My spleen! Someone avenge me and murder this asshole!"
When it's more likely that people will be like, "Bob, am I nuts or did the moon turn into a giant f*cking heart?" "Uh. Yeah. What the f*ck?" "Maybe we should go inside until it goes away."
It seems like he modified his plan a bit after he realized that human hearts were a source of darkness. So his plan became a much simpler "use Kingdom Hearts' power to kill everything".
Is it KH's power he's after? I thought killing everything was just. Like. The consequence.
Like, remember when ASOD was trying to go world by world, corrupting the Heart of each world with darkness? And the consequence would basically be that the world itself plunges into the Realm of Darkness? Like, there's a part of Destiny Islands permanently imprinted on the Realm of Darkness because Destiny Islands fell.
I thought that was what Xehanort was doing. As the Heart of all worlds, Kingdom Hearts is like a master switch for the worldline. If Kingdom Hearts itself falls to darkness, then it will cascade out to the individual worlds. All worlds in the Realm of Light will fall to Darkness at once. Rocks fall, everyone dies. And then Xehanort, in control of Kingdom Hearts, can reconfigure the Realms of Light and Darkness into one Realm of Perfect Light/Dark Balance at his whim.
That was my understanding, anyway.

Xehanort's final plan was apparently to use the light of Kingdom Hearts to purge the worlds since he believed that the hearts of people were the true source of darkness. Leaving an empty world, pure and bright.
What people think of Final World ? what he actually is ? is basically Dracula's Reverse Castle, I think if all the confusing thing on the plot of this franchise are we putting hard tought on what is just History and gameplay segregation, this series have conventions of Super Nes games on modern times .
one nice thing they coulda done is have a floating party list that grows as the game goes on. like, let us have kairi and lea and xion and roxas and so forth as permanent switchable party members after various parts in the story, maybe kill them off for then revival before the endgame, but having the lights start gathering and being teammates all game long woulda given them a lot more time to shine
so MX failed to learn the lesson that Ansem himself seemed to have accepted in the end
"The heart may be weak. And sometimes it may even give in. But I've learned that deep down, there's a light that never goes out!"
"Your Strength is vaster than Darkness" Which you have ANY idea the type of compliment that is!!! coming form Ansem "DARKNESS" Seeker of DARKNESS
I can understand why they didn't... With so many potential party members, being able to take them anywhere would have been a coding nightmare for all the variations in cutscenes
The best you could have done was have them form their own parties and go to worlds that don't require cosmetic changes.
IE Why RG and Destiny island would hve been good choices to included, Hell a full fleshed out land of Departure and Expanded Twilight town.

You don’t get to go to the station or The Usual Place in KH 3...
you're just now catching on Enlong
I'd like to endorse a Kairi and Riku-focused post-game DLC in Radiant Garden (and maybe Destiny Islands too), and a Roxas and Xion-focused DLC in an expanded Twilight Town. Lea and Isa can be in whichever works best, maybe even both.
I’d like to see a Secret episode showing how Sora rescued Kairi.
Sora never actually killed the Lich from before. Maybe it has a new form that makes it the true final boss, probably using the power of Xeanhort and Eraqus’s hearts to fight Sora with.
that or YX and YE are Sora's party members
Now wait one better Ansem and Xemnas are Sora's Party members...
IT BE PERFECT XD
To get Kairi back Sora needs to defeat a being of the Heart with the power of Light, Darkness and Nothingness!

I'd actually go for having Sora and Kairi fight it together.
Pshh Kairi can't fight... She's being Saved you silly fool

Did someone say mash magic and kill everything?
Ah, so that's why it was more important to let us jump with the shortcut menu open than have a fourth shortcut in KH1.
I thought that Xehanort (I keep pronouncing and spelling it as "Xenahort") wanted to start another Keyblade War so as to forge the X-blade.
"Hmm, I want to get this sweet-as-bugger weapon but nobody knows how to make it anymore. If the records are correct, it was made during the last Keyblade War. Alright, I'll start another Keyblade War! It's fool-proof!"
It was quite to amusing to me that that was his idea. It takes the normal habit of thinking "it worked before, it should work again" to such insane levels. It's the equivalent of wanting to forge atomic weapons by starting World War II again.
As you can tell, I never finished Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep and only got as far as terra conversing with Xehanort in the Keyblade Graveyard a couple of years ago before I stopped completely.
So, is terra still Alphonse Elric? Because that's a spoiler I can recollect with clarity.

Apparently, he's both Lingering Will, the Kingdom Hearts 2 superboss, and the Guardian, which is Fake Ansem's weird helper thing.
I'm terrible, so I'd love for it to be an anticlimax where Sora didn't save Kairi.
And then the next game you play as Kairi with Riku and Mickey as sidekicks, and have to go save Sora from his own terrible decision-making.
Recoded answered in its secret ending Nobody knew what Xehanort actually wanted. Not even the other Xehanorts. He wanted the X Blade, Keyblade War, and Kingdom Hearts. But these were all part of some other objective
...Now, I don't want spoilers but I do want to know what the bugger is a "Power of Waking" because that sounds as though it comes from Kingdom Hearts: dream drop distance and I haven't touched that game yet.
Edit: And I'm willing to take spoilers to know what this thing is because, if my glances through this forum is correct, it's the driving force of Sora's adventures in the game, the reason he goes to worlds beyond.

The Power of Waking is a special power that allows plot stuff to happen, like all of Sora's other powers.
...You're not wrong about Sora's powers.
Perhaps this would be better: why does he want it? What is the purpose of this thing? Is it supposed to help when he tries to go shank Xehanort and/or his past self?
