Poor Image: Nightmare Fuel.Black Mirror

I think it's a good image, personally. But it's really dark and hard to see. I suggest using the image on BlackMirror.Series One. If Series One would really need a replacement image, this should work fine◊.

The current is decent, but I like the one on the Series One page a bit more.

I have no issue with a clarity change, though I'm not sure if it's needed — the image is bright enough to see/creep me out. What's the brightness setting of your computer screen? Because I can even see the figures' shadows clearly...

It's also funny that the Series One image was originally the Black Mirror image, too.

I use my phone, actually. I can turn the brightness all the way up and the image would still look really dark on its right half.

Then it may be a brightness issue for mobile devices in general. I can check on my phone later, but it's a good enough reason for a change, since quite a few people use the site on mobile.

I find it too dark on my screen, which is a regular computer screen in decent lighting conditions.

I personally prefer the one from Series One since it isn't in a specific episode unlike the suggestions from Men Against Fire or USS Callister.

That being said, I really like the idea of one of the images on 8 to be the image for NightmareFuel.Black Mirror Series Four, considering the current isn't really illustrative.

I also like 8.1 for the S4 Nightmare Fuel page.

Now that I look at the wiki pages more... Funny.Black Mirror is fine, and I like Heartwarming.Black Mirror, but Awesome.Black Mirror is completely non-illustrative. You can literally put this in a Characters page and it wouldn't make a difference.

I think the smirk is pretty awesome, but there are probably multiple better images. Like Nish driving off in that T-bird from "Black Museum".

Should there be a vote or something on the above suggestions?

One thing's for sure, the caption doesn't exactly work with the image if the entire caption needs to be spoilered.

(On a different note: the image for NightmareFuel.Black Mirror Series One was changed without a discussion. Should that be on a separate thread?)

For that separate note: it took 7 edits to change it, and the handle is all numbers, so it's pretty suspicious, too.

I can't remember if Nightmare Fuel pages are spoilers-off.

I'd like to add that the current image has a spoiler tag in its caption, which is doubly not allowed: not only are spoilers not allowed above the example line, but all Moments pages are Spoilers Off.

I'm not very familiar with the show, so I don't know if it would be OK to just take off the spoiler tag, or if the caption actually is a big spoiler that shouldn't be there in the first place.

BM is an anthology, but the caption gives away a major twist in Men Against Fire.

For now, just removing the caption is probably a good idea. Any votes on the suggestions for page image, and the various other pages mentioned?

It's been almost two weeks since the crowner was hooked. How many votes is enough to be considered a consensus?

Since crowners broke when the site was updated and haven't been made functional yet, I couldn't say.

Alright, so if I'm reading the crowner right, the two winning options are to replace the pic that's on the fourth season's NF page with 8.1, replace the general NF page with the pic that's on the Season One page, and put the poster pic on the Season One page. Correct?

Are crowders working now? Any way, yes, the scary face goes to the main NF, poster to Series One, Gillian to Series 4 NF.
