So I want tomake a fanfic of digimon but with chracter from a telenovela I watched, more specifically the two main young canon ships, one of them because they're gay and I love it even if they don't kiss (I'm gay myself) the other because in my head I can use them as a beta couple.

But I don't want to make a digimon story with only two couples, I don't want to make this only a ship fic, friendshipis important too, as well as family; and I want to make an story like frontier/adventure/savers with them trapped in the digital world and trying to survive, and since I like planet survival I want to use a cast equally as big.

That's with I want use some more secondary characters from the novela that I like too; now here's where I must be sincere, I haven't watched all of the novela, just some youtube compilations whose main focus is the couples I mentioned, so is only natural I don't know how to portray the other characters... BUT I'm planning on archive binge the wole novela soon.

Now the whole problem, is that I only can thing of amazing things for these two coples to do, without thinking to much about the other characters, and it doesn't hel the fact that Tizoc Menchaca is an amazing martial artist; I know I could just simple start by focusing on the other characters instead, but I fear that if I make a lot of amazing things happen one after another, they will stop being so amazing.

And yeah, now that I think of it, I don't have to write everything that I Imagine, and if some of those things are important for the plot,I could try tomake the other charactes do them instead.

TLDR: But I just wanted to know, how do all of you deal with trying to make all of your characters do awesome things, without "awesome" becoming less especial?

Primarily by understanding what makes the characters special and then leveraging that for their moments of awesome - it helps if they are your own characters because you would know them best, so expect to be taking copious notes about the other characters when you do your binge-watching.

Basically, if the awesomeness comes from what makes the characters unique and they're awesome in their own way, it won't become less "special". If they were all having awesome moments of the same thing, then it'd get tiring but when one's awesome at this and another's awesome at something totally different, they all get to be awesome and it's "fresh".
