An animated series from Vivienne Medrano, it follows the escapades of the princess of Hell as she tries to curb hell's overpopulation by creating the titular hotel to redeem souls and get them into heaven.

guys, he did go to heaven
Speaking of which, someone on Reddit
joked about Mr. Wrigglers screaming at the sight of Sir Pentious.
Also, it's pretty unlikely, but it'd be funny if Drivezo was deliberately written as a Take That! to the Parental Incest shippers who flooded Octavia's old official Instagram page with Rule 34 art of her and Stolas, as well as the later people who, for some insane reason, have shipped Charlie and Lucifer (I've seen records of fans being disgusted at the fact people like both ships on Reddit).

Waiting to have my head disfigured and mounted on a wall.
I think it might have just been supposed to be a standard Hillbilly Incest joke (which, come to think of it, this short has some strange issues with assigning Deep South stereotypes to New Mexico, a state in the American Southwest).
Vindication for my boy.
I’m very pleased.
My AO3 profile. Let sleeping cats lie and be cute and calming.I have to be completely honest, based purely on these two shorts I'm not really taking to Lyle Rath's style of humor. It feels like a lot of it is based in caricature or characters getting brutally murdered. I'm hoping he's just doing the shorts and not the main episodes.

: Viv confirms that Season 3 won't premiere in 2025.

I've also noticed that Rath's shorts have lacked much in terms of interactions between the main characters. Loona and Blitzo basically stop talking to each other once they go on Wriggler's farewell tour in the last short, and I just wasn't feeling much between Blitzo and Moxxie's dialogue between each other in the most recent short. I'm not asking for anything deep, but there's something missing here when these characters are talking to each other to make it engaging.

Not a huge fan of the Black Comedy in these (the series has always had that, of course, that's its oeuvre, but this wasn't executed in a way I like), but I quite liked the other moments of comedy. Blitzo and Moxxxie's rant at the end of this short about the bad driving was a highlight. Nice to see them portrayed more as equals.
I've watched all the shorts and enjoyed them for the most part. Besides, in the parts of the Hellaverse fandom I'm in, it's generally expected to have knowledge of all episodes of both Hazbin and Helluva.
The shorts have outright been explicitly stated by Viv or someone else in the crew to be rather experimental compared to the main episodes, so the decision to watch them would be up to you. "Hell's Belles" gives focus on a side character, while the rest of the shorts are basically mission plots that many people expected to be the show's usual formula back during the time of the pilot and early Season 1.
Waiting to have my head disfigured and mounted on a wall.Yeah, in like a month. Anyone who would want to (or have to) wait to watch it on Youtube is going to get the whole thing spoiled for them by then. And having to wait a whole month is stupid. Why didn't they have it so that it remains exclusive on Prime for like a week? That would be a much more acceptable waiting period.
Eh, I personally don’t mind waiting. I understand that it’s annoying to some and that dodging spoilers is a valid concern, but if the Amazon deal means more funding for Spindlehorse and lets them hire more staff to do more stuff, waiting a month doesn’t really bother me.

: Erika Henningsen wants a scene between Charlie and Loona. She even said that she wants to make a pair of Charlie and Loona plushies kiss each other with Erica Lindbeck.
Now this is interesting...

Yeah, in today's Comic Con, they announced it under the work of a new Spindlehorse subisdiary/spin-off studio named Spindleroo.
Honestly, it's neat to see Spindlehorse extending to new media outside of the Hellaverse. Has potential to give us another major indie studio aside from Glitch Productions.
Waiting to have my head disfigured and mounted on a wall. And just for fun info, here's a Reddit comment showcasing all the information given in The State of Spindlehorse
.
Assuming that it's just the initial storyboards and doesn't include early animatics, I'm actually surprised that for Helluva Boss, the Spindlehorse staff take a relatively long time to make and polish the storyboards, especially when compared to the more standard storyboard making time for Hazbin Hotel (unless that's simply because of Hazbin having more storyboard artists from the partnered studios to do storyboards faster).

Ahhh, that makes sense. Perceptive enough to notice the sign, not perceptive enough to actually notice the joke.
