Infinity War spoiler thread

For those that don't know Infinity War is Marvel's film in years featured loads in heros on big crossover event and naturally everyone is excited over who will turn up

Gah, this thread got my hopes up that major spoilers were already out there.

This is in preparation you know.

I assume there will be many actors wearing tights and/or capes, and that there will also be lots of explosions.

Capes and tights are against regulations,all superheros are required to wear dark form fitting jumpsuits

According to this toy, Spider-Man's Iron Spider suit also includes repulsor blasts.

...I hope they're not setting him up as Iron Man 2.0 in case Tony dies.

Okay so according to the Atlanta Filming Twitter, a specific post on Reddit has real spoilers on it.

If I had to guess, this one seems the most probable to me.

This isn’t particularly shocking, but Bucky probably won’t become Captain America if Steve dies.

I mean, strictly speaking, if Steve dies, you're already down one, so...not much changes.

Of course, there's the question of which one's the better fit for Bucky - personally, I don't know if taking up the shield would really fit this version of the character.

That said, I don't think the guy that wrote the script has all that much say in what happens in the future, so I wouldn't count Bucky out just yet.

Okay so initial spoilers from what I'm gathering (they may still be fake of course, but these are some of the more recurring ones):

• Loki, Gamora, Heimdall, and Vision die. I expected all of those except Gamora and hers may be undone.

• The Snop happens and half the cast goes away. This includes Spidey, Strange, T'Challa, and Groot. May be others and will certainly be undone.

• Post-credits scene is Fury calling for Carol before he vanishes from the Snop. Supported by this image◊ which is supposedly from said scene.

• Peter Dinklage apparently plays a dwarven smith. In a fun subversion said "dwarf" is ten-feet tall with the explanation being that the dwarves are just a race and aren't actually short.

• Cap is fine.

• Add Bucky and Drax onto the Snop pile.

• Hawkeye isn't in it. I look forward to the memes that spawn from this.

• It's implied that everyone from Ragnarok besides Thor, Hulk, Loki, and Heimdall are dead when the movie starts. As mentioned, Heimdall and Loki die shortly after. Xandar is said to be destroyed.

• As mentioned below, Red Skull of all people may be guarding the Soul Stone. Never have I been more confused to be wrong.

• Thanos using the Infinity Stones sounds like it will trippy.

• Gamora dies when she is sacrificed by Thanos to get the Soul Stone. Apparently he must sacrifice someone he loves to get it and he truly did love Gamora.

• Add Mantis to the Snop body count.

• Maria Hill gets Snopped along with Nick Fury.

Again these may still be fake so take them with a grain of salt.

Big spoiler rumor around on Red Skull showing up and helping Thanos get the Soul Stone.

You don't need to spoiler tag but yeah I heard that one too. Not sure if I buy that one (as it hasn't really been corroborated as far as I've seen) but it would be very interesting.

...And now more people are coming out to confirm it.

I think I might not watch the movie if that’s true.

On Reddit two of of the more common theories are the Red Skull appearing and Gamora dying but I thought/hoped that reflected those posters being shitty people not that they had inside knowledge.

Unless Got G 3 is a prequel or she gets revived at the end of A4, I'm calling bull on the Gamora spoiler.

Unfortunately the Gamora spoiler came with the Nick Fury one (which has proof). It's looking pretty likely.

That being said, she'll probably be brought back.

I don't necessarily have a problem with Gamora dying in theory. But the WAY that she dies, if this is true, sounds incredibly lame and disrespectful to her character.

Also if they kill off Valkyrie early on in the film I'm going to be annoyed at that as well.

What is Snop?

Me intentionally misspelling "Snap" (as in Thanos snapping his fingers).
