I almost expect to see Bob from Bob's Burgers being responsible for it
A moment of silence for fallen comrades Gwen, Sylvia, and Salty

Looks like we'll start seeing what Vedika can do. I do wonder, though, of its a good idea to let a psychic into the mind of someone who has very recently undergone severe emotional trauma and is keeping secrets because of it.

These two dorks are such good peoples
Forever liveblogging the AvengersIt's weird, I went from not shipping them at all to being willing to die for the Heartful Wave OTP over a handful of pages.
The troper who was worried about letting the psychic near the ptsd-riddled student gets a cookie, I think.
Mostly it just reminded me of the opening scene of Serenity, where the antagonist kills a man You Have Failed Me style for putting a bunch of people with government secrets in their head in the same room as a psychic. An action that drove said psychic insane.
On the flip side we've seen Vedika dealing with hospital patients, I'd imagine there's no small amount of trauma to be found there.

The dead Alchemicals are facing away and in shadow, Tessa is turned away but looking back, with only part of her face in shadow.
The Dead Alchemicals could be a band name.

Someone in universe starts the band Dead Alchemicals. Undine hears about it and says she's fine, but for some reason the city's started flooding all of a sudden.

And now for someone completely different.
A comment on the discord gave me a thought: Could Claire become an Unwitting Instigator of Doom when her desire to see Zoe be a magical girl prompts her to go out before she's ready?
Alternatively, Zoe gets a glimpse of just what effect monster attacks can have on people if Claire has nightmares or something.
I'm now imagining Zoe transforming and standing guard over Claire to reassure her

Speaking of doom, I didn't notice that "Dooooooom" sound effect on my first read. I guess family relations aren't super great.
I think it's prolly just her shyness acting up.
A large part of Zoe's issues is the expectation that she'll be just as great as her sister was. When you get right down to it, who's worse about making comparisons to a superior family member than other family members.
I expect more than a little Oblivious Guilt Slinging, at best.
It might not even be intentional - Claire seems like the kind of girl who'd jump right on those sorts of buttons without meaning anything purely on the basis of her excitement and hero worship of Magical Girls.
Hence Oblivious.
I wouldn't be surprised if such actions by Claire might prompt Zoe to do something foolish.
New comic: http://www.sleeplessdomain.com/comic/chapter-11-page-6
There were some concerns in the SD Discord that one or more of the characters here might "deadname" Zoe. I personally figured if anyone would it'd be Claire. Fortunately that is not happening by the look of it.
A little moment I like: Claire's mom's reaction to Claire not appreciating the name her parents gave her.
Mom: -_-
Also how all of Zoe's dialogue in this comic begins and ends with a ...
It's her troll quirk.
That's the comic's Alt Text, actually. I'd thought about commenting on it, because LMAO.
I can't quite wrap my head around the idea that Zoe isn't always speaking in a very quiet tone of voice, thanks to her speech bubble color.
Oh, you can see just the edge of Alex's hair in the last panel of page 5. Nice touch!
That's the best name for a Burger place I've ever seen.
