There are several comic book rogues galleries that I feel have one or two good villains, but the rest of the villains are kinda forgettable, generic, underused or the villain just repeats the same story beats, over and over again. Batman and Spider-Man have pretty good rogues gallery from the start and I feel like Geoff Johns did a pretty good job revamping the Flash and Green Lantern rogues galleries.
I feel like the Fantastic Four's rogues gallery needs a top to bottom revamp. I love Dr. Doom and Galactus, but the rest of those villains really revamp. Wizard is a pretty lame villain, who has pretty lame motives and uses the same plan over and over again: attack the FF with a Frightful Four group, maybe he should try a Frightful Fourteen next time. The writers gave him a mental break down out the blue, but that story went no where. I still do not know why Trapster is a villain in the first place and why he hangs out with the Wizard on a regular basis.
Red Ghost comes off as a old cold war propaganda relic. Either make him a real Marxist who is angry at the FF because he feels the FF are hoarding technology that can benefit the working class or make him a scum bag who works for the current Russian government or Russian mobsters.
Annihilus was threatening in the Annihilation story, but Hickman made him into a punk, getting easily defeated and humiliated by the Human Torch. He really needs to treated as an epic threat each time he appears.
The Mad Thinker was interesting in New Warriors where he was an morally ambiguous mentor figure, but in the FF comics he is usually a generic mad scientist and the writers often seem to paint him as not being in Reed's intellectual league , which just nerfs any threat he could pose.
Puppet Master only seems interesting due to his connection with his step daughter, rather then due to anything he does. The writers tried to make him an evil psychopath 10 years ago, but that did not work.
That's my 2 cents on a rogues gallery that needs revamping, which rogues galleries do you think should be revamped?

Honestly, I think Annihilus got too much of an upgrade for Annihilation. He's not meant to be Thanos or Darkseid, he's meant to be a petty tyrant who rules over a petty part of the universe with delusions of self importance.
Mind you, Annihilation was awesome but it was a bit equivalent to making a man crush the United States and rule the ashes from Electro or the Shocker.
WONDER WOMAN REVIVAL
Ares: You don't need to change him at all as the Devil figure to Wonder Woman is perfectly fine as is. He creates chaos, murder, horror, and feeds off the misery of humanity's murderous ways. Wonder Woman can fight him one-on-one too but he's immortal so all she can do is banish him for a few months or a year tops by destroying him.
Circe: Already a pretty good character as is.
Veronica Cale: The treatment of her as Lex Luthor for Wonder Woman goes too far in some ways but not far enough in others. My version is a professional arms dealer and former US Senator who was a candidate for President before Wonder Woman spoke out against her. She has death-robots, a suit of armor, and a bunch of villains she's created. She often mocks Wonder Woman's talk of sisterhood and peace as she made her fortune through violence.
Paula Von Gunther a.k.a Baroness Blitzkrieg and SHADOW: Basically, flat out stealing from Hydra. Paula and her Nazi cohorts were sent to seek out Paradise Island by Hitler and got caught up in a magic time bubble. They're nasty nasty people who are white supremecists and building chaos as well as disorder in the modern world.
Cheetah: I'm going with an Evil Lara Croft for this one. Cheetah in this reality is not cursed but blessed with a magical totam's power that gives her the power to fight Wonder Woman one on one. She is a woman who plunders the riches and cultural heritage of other nations as well as attempts to steal magic to sell to the highest bidder.
Doctor Psycho: Ditch the misogynist angle and have Doctor Psycho be a crime lord who just so happens to be a former psychologist. He controlled governments from behind the scenes and tortures people horribly with his powers. He believes everyone is secretly bad and Wonder Woman's optimism offends him even as she humiliated him. I'm not sure it's good to engage in any form of erasure, even of negative characters, but I'd probably ditch the dwarf angle as well.
'Herakles: A full blown psychotic-rage prone monster who often ends up "Hulking out" and killing everyone around him because he has no impulse control. He was a hero in the past but he's a monster in the present and can go blow to blow with Wonder Woman like Doomsday.

Personally I'd have Ares start out as Diana's Olympian main enemy and then later on replace him with Zeus who hates Diana and the Amazons for disgracing his son.
Isn't Zeus currently Diana's father, or are we revamping that too?
Yeah, no. Did you even think that one through?
Uh, yeah, as Hercules is an enemy of the Amazons in myth and a perfect Rogue for her to have. Personally, I love the idea of making a hero in myth into a villain in the modern era due to Values Dissonance. Certainly, he's killed his own family and many other people in these past rages so it's nothing new to the myth either.
And no, Zeus is no longer Diana's father. That was retconned with Rebirth.

Actually, according to Robinson's run, Zeus is still Diana's father.
But her current arc has Jason, who she refers to as brother and she calls Zeus father.
Really, I thought a major part of the first story arc was the revelation the whole, "The modern Themyscirans who are all murderous psychotic man-haters was all a lie because Diana never returned to her homeland after she first left it"?
She'd had her memories tampered with to cover her idealistic original history replaced with a grimdark shitty one.

To be clear, the part about the Amazons being murderous pirates was a lie but the Zeus origin is kept as the truth. Mind you, Rucka never actually came out and said Zeus being Diana's father was a lie but I'm guessing that was due to editorial wanting to keep that origin since the film was using it.
Any way, I'd make Felix Faust a regular enemy of Zatana's.
