Yea, I've been pretty surprised how many youtubers I've been enjoying so far. Especially on the gaming side.
Alright, I've begun playing 0
Wow, zombie slugs. That's really something.
The button config and map resemble 3 more than they resemble R Emake. Was this game made before or after R Emake?
And we have a dog in the first 10 minutes. Awesome.
Not sure how I'm supposed to dodge zombies in tight linear corridors.

Where there's life, there's hope.Leeches.
Trans rights are human rights. TV Tropes is not a place for bigotry, cruelty, or dickishness, no matter who or their position.Remake came out before it, but only by like 8 months or so.
0 was in development for longer I believe, it was originally meant to be a Nintendo 64 game.
That's correct IIRC, we have footage of the n64 prototype too I think.
The world these days seems to be "WHY CANT I HOLD ALL THESE PROTOTYPES" so I imagine sooner or later the N64 RE Zero proto will show up on the web one day.
I'm quite confident in my shitposting you knowSame deal with Eternal darkness from what I can gather
this music plays whenever I post also a boxRegular zombies in this game are fairly easy to deal with. Pistol ammo is plentiful and their are two people shooting zombies at the same time. No worry about Crimson Heads either.
The grenade launcher mysteriously disappeared from the inventory, and I can't find it on the map.
Where there's life, there's hope.I made it to the church. Currently heading towards the lab.
The leeches are one hell of an enemy. They are even more annoying to fight than the Crimson Heads. At least there is some way to avoid Crimson Heads from popping up. Thankfully they have been mostly solitary until now.
The apes are just as annoying as the dogs. Go figure.
So Umbrella didn't infest the mansion with zombie on purpose?
Where there's life, there's hope.Despite both the main games and spin-offs showing that Umbrella engaged in some incredibly evil and horrifically sadistic experiments and actions over the years, not a single outbreak involving their products was ever an intentional action (on their part at least). For 90% of events it was caused by poor biosecurity standards, and the remaining 10% was sabotage on the part of an external party.
Still there's only so much chaos and tragedy that can occur by acccident before a line has to be drawn.
I'm quite confident in my shitposting you know
That's kinda funny to think about it. Umbrella never actually intended any of their outbreaks.
Had it not been for the events of Zero, they probably never would have gotten caught like they did.
One Strip! One Strip!Umbrella: "We may be evil bastards but remember. We're very stupid, too."

Trans rights are human rights. TV Tropes is not a place for bigotry, cruelty, or dickishness, no matter who or their position.Yeah.
Though again, it's only because they did a bad job of killing Marcus. That was the Wafer Thin Mint that lead to the events of Zero, the original game, and of course 2 and 3, which were the real tipping points.
Wasn't Birkin only trying to jump ship because of what happen with Alpha and Bravo teams? Which is the main reason Umbrella sent a team to capture him.
Now, maybe if they'd been given rubber bullets, or at least made sure to double tap and shoot him in the face too, but hey. Live and Learn.
Kinda scary to think that Umbrella might have just kept on doing the same old shit and never being caught if they weren't full of so many assholes with God complexes.
One Strip! One Strip! The doomsday cult in 4 would have succeeded if they just handed Ashley over at any point in the game, and instead they constantly shoot flaming arrows at her.
I thought Wesker would still lure S.T.A.R.S. into the mansion, and they would still learn about the lab anyway.
Where there's life, there's hope.I'm pretty sure that only happened because he opted to take advantage of the Zero incident and Bravo team disappearing.
Plus, I think those monsters were only loose again because of Leech Queen Marcus and just figured testing time.
In fact, Umbrella's tendency to try and test their weapons during these massive fucks ups also probably helped in their downfall.
They must have really thought there'd be no one to tie them to things somehow.
One Strip! One Strip!RE 3 makes it more blatant with the reasons I gave earlier.
Remember, these idiots drive, fuck, and vote. Not always in that order.Rebecca made it to the factory. Billy fell off to a hole somewhere.
The part where Rebecca and Billy separated in the lab was rough, since Billy couldn't send the shotgun to Rebecca, Rebecca had to fight off Hunters with a handgun and cocktails.
Where there's life, there's hope.Couldn't someone argue it was mostly Wesker that was responsible for the downfall of Umbrella? Pretty sure it was part of his plan too.
Weaker was capitalizing on everything that was happening. He was likely going to betray Umbrella regardless, and he definitely made the outbreak worse, but he didn't start everything.
Mega Man fanatic extraordinaireMore Hunters to fight with a handgun, and then a Tyrant. Fortunately I've reunited with Billy. At least we have a shotgun and half a Magnum now.
Where there's life, there's hope.
Thanks to Sphere Hunter I just leaned that REmake and 0 used pre-rendered background. That's pretty cool.
