Of course using it in a crowd would be a bad idea but I fully intend to use it every chance I get.
Is there anything particularly troublesome I should watch out for coming up?

Have you passed the castle gates yet? If so then get ready for ambushes in small rooms, because there are a lot of that. Also I forgot how far in it is, but there's a bit in a two-storey room just after you've entered the castle, where you need to swap two swords on the wall to proceed. Enemies will be coming from both downstairs and up, and it's very easy to get blindsided, surrounded, or have Ashley carried out since the exit is very close.
Enemy wise I'd say watch out for the maces, which have deceptively long range, and the scythe cultists who like to throw their weapon at you.

There's a bit coming up, a water room where you have Ashley raise and lower platforms, that well may be the toughest in the game. Illuminados spawning in, setting ambushes, trying to keep you distracted while they target Ashley, it may only be matched by a lengthy QTE sequence late in the game.

G'day. Fellow Aussie troper? Then you'd remember when we got a R rating and the game began ramping up their content, you may have even seen Zombie Bait. I'd be keen to get your thoughts on this.
On the game, the ball room? You mean with the cage? The lava pit? Or the actual wrecking ball late in the game?

I meant how we are getting games like Riptide, Last Light, The Last of Us, ect and we now had access to all these Darker and Edgier games, uncensored anyway.
On RE 4, Ashley behaved for me if that was the trouble you had, but it is a tricky part especially if you want to conserve your heavy weapons. Times are good as the Red 9 and Blacktail are they are not the right tool for the job. Same with the TMP. From memory, been some ten years since I played that part regularly, died a fair few times mostly because of having to contend with where the wrecking ball was going. Think I have the game on here with saves, skin files so you can play as other characters. Might be worth a play to see how it fairs.

Well I'm pretty happy we've got that R rating for video games now. I'd been into gory games for quite some times and it's nice to see some of my favorite games like Ninja Gaiden 3 and Metro on sale when I visit EB games.
The Wrecking ball: Ashley must really hates me then, coz she often just refused to move and gets carried away or killed by one of the hammer dudes. And the biggest problem for that room is Plagas spawn rate, which is insanely high. I'd been trying to do a no-damage run for quite some times and this part always gets me. The only viable strategy I came up was to save up lots of flash grenades and spam them, but even that doesn't guarantee a success since they run out very quickly.

Wesker brought her in when forming STARS and I guess she has rudimentary gun training. And hey she's probably smart.
Also who was it that needed RE 4 guidance here?
Are explosions science?I was but I lucked my way through that boss fight. I might need more later. We'll see.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!I just entered the castle and bought the Riot Gun like an idiot. Didn't but the Magnum, though, since I know I get a free one later. I haven't played it since because playing the game's a bit of a pain in the ass on my computer.

I already beat him. I got really lucky and found a spot where he couldn't hit me and just blasted him to oblivion. Now I'm at the castle.
So when can I start suplexing enemies?
