Friend showed me these. I love them! I love how the characters move and their expressions.
You need blood and he's got more than enough!Fourth part was released, this time fan animated. It looks like Missy/ Melissa is losing it due the staffs influence.
Also something I want to mention that is annoying me. I really wish people would stop trying to Draco in Leather Pants Duke. Duke is not a good guy at all considering he tried to force a young girl into marriage ( she may be college age judging by some extra details here but the squickness is not lessened much considering vampires tend to live very long lives) and was toying with her constantly just for accidentally wandering into his home.
He's not innocent and while Missy isn't either people seem to constantly forget that she was the victim first and foremost and this video just confirmed that the staff is messing with her mind so chances are that wasn't all her getting back at him.
It just bothers me as that theory I see going around comes across as very victim blamey.

Agreed Whispy! Like yes, Duke is physically cute/hot/attractive but he's an asshole. Hence why I don't care for Duke x Missi at all. Though, I feel that his grossness has been downplayed in the later shorts as the first one was made as a project and Daria prolly didn't know if she was going to make this into a series (ie Early-Installment Weirdness). Even if Duke didn't pull that crap in the first short, the whole Missi being confirmed to be 17 (IDK if she's 17 going on 18 judging by the college applications) and the whole "PERSON A HURTS PERSON B BUT THEN PERSON BE FALLS IN LOVE" ship dynamic bothers me. Also....the Word of God statement on the main tropes page for the Vampair Series regarding Duke "jumping to the conclusion she wanted sex"....where was that fact/confirmation gotten? Where did Daria say this (IDK if questions like this belong in the forum...)
But yeah, despite this complaint and Cohen's problematic comments/views on Missi x Duke I love the series. It's my current hyperfixation, and got me to delve deeper into Voltaire's other work.
.

There's a series of animated music videos by Daria Cohen that's been making waves on youtube recently and is starting to leak into other sites, I'm surprised there's not a work page for it already (I'd make one but I'm terrible at tropes).
Anyway I thought I'd make a thread of it in case anyone else on here has seen it, if not I'd highly recommend them, here's the first three installments:
