And yet, it's still more subtle than most Disney-fare conveying the same ideas.
Toads and Frogs here seem more like a clan thing than a race thing.
Even if they "are" different.
YO. Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie.Curious as to what will get more focus after this, the revolution or getting Anne home.
I have a feeling that Amphibia's time corresponds with the real world's time.
x2
Well since the toads are out of a base of operations I expect next season to focus mostly on finding a way for Anne (and maybe Sasha if she leaves Grime next season) to return home. Plus hopefully we learn what happened to their other friend and have the three girls team up to fight a villain (Not sure if Grime would be that villain or not.) like part of the title hints at.

I hope you're right, but I get a serious feeling we've got a case of Year Inside, Hour Outside going on.
Or it goes the Star Vs and the Frogs v. Toads conflict becomes the Cerebus Syndrome jumping point that takes over the main plot and shapes both Sasha, Anne, and Marcy.
But if we're talking about derivatives, I do hope Part II follows the mold of Tangled and becomes an adventure series. I can't help but feel the best of Wartwood is spent...well besides the Sprivy ship.

Toad Tower being taken out is part of why I think the revolution is going to be more relevant. It's a blow in favor of the rebels and the toads will likely try to occupy one of the other territories.
Ya know, does Ann know that Amphibia is an island?
I mean they are probably not looking to get back to earth in normal physical walking way, but was kinda wondering about that
That is giving me serious Digimon Adventure flashbacks. The whole "Amphibia is an island thing".
Discord: Waido X 255#1372 If you cant contact me on TV Tropes do it here.Do you think we should count Amphibia as an Isekai?

No.
YO. Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie.
I think it should.
Why?
YO. Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie.I loved that look on Anne. I never thought about how while positive depictions of male characters cross-dressing has become more commonplace in recent years (Steven, Marco, Mario, Link...), the reverse hasn't so much. Granted, it's generally considered more socially acceptable for girls/women to wear more masculine clothing, but Anne basically crossplaying as DiCaprio's character from Gatsby is a step or two above that.
It's just a suit...?
YO. Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie.Ya know, think we'll ever see this amphibian in Amphibia?◊ I mean that would be really obscure and nice reference
Strictly speaking, yes. But only in the same sense as tomato being a fruit.
Soo, only the pedantic and the people who spout useless trivia do it, even if they're completely right?
I wonder what it's title would be if it was a Japanese isekai. Also why hasn't anyone made any Keroro Gunso jokes about this show. Because I could a see crossover between this and that.
I don't see why not. The show's done a good job with varieties of amphibians thus far.
Disney has started posting "Teen Girl in a Frog World" quickies (1 minute shorts).
Well, that's just swell.
Shorts are a sign that a good show is doing well.
YO. Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie.I'm still wondering how it will compare to the Owl House when that show finally airs
New theme music also a box
I meant introduced as the plot of one whole episode...
