How about just "fandom misconceptions"? That way, it won't seem to encourage just venting about annoyances, and be more about the misconceptions around a work.

The problem is that Fandom Berserk Button is about misconceptions that are so common, fans are tired of them and get upset when they're brought up. "Common misconceptions about the work" is Common Knowledge.

Common Knowledge already has its own TRS thread, and I agree that Fandom Misconception sounds like an alternate title for that. I think Fandom-enraging Misconception is an improvement over the current name at the very least, since having "misconception" in the name gets the point across that it involves reactions to things that are actually wrong.

That has the same problem as Fandom Misconceptions: It sounds like an alternate name for Common Knowledge, because it doesn't indicate that fans' reactions are negative. Admittedly, that's a significantly more minor problem than the problem with the current name, that being that the misconception part isn't made clear due to the similarly named Berserk Button trope not always involving mistakes.
Anyway, I don't know if it's too soon to call the single-proposition crowner, but the consensus is so overwhelmingly in favor of a rename that I think it's safe to rule out the ratio suddenly doing a 180.

It's been up for over a month now. It's time to close it.
My vote for a new name is "Annoyingly Common Misconception". It covers that it's about misconceptions that are so widespread, fans can't help but get upset when they hear it.

"Annoyingly Common Misconception" sounds like the type of name that will lead to misuse. At the very least, it makes it look like we find it annoying, not the fanbase.
Contains 20% less fat than the leading value brand!
Annyoingly Common Misconception isn't a good name since it doesn't specify it's for misconceptions that annoy fandoms and it may end up being misused for any misconception. The other two names are fine though.
