It did rather look like the Not-De Beers execs were seconds away from being ripped apart by an angry mob of their own slave-workers when we last saw them, so I guess that’s a happy ending?
Wanyuudo did also generously provide them with a massive block of diamond for travel and living expenses...

What's precedent ever done for us?Ehh, Nekomusume was also in Mana’s fantasy as her Hot Teacher. Girl ain’t picky.
What's precedent ever done for us?It was a sympathetic take on why someone might choose to get corrective plastic surgery. The ending was reinforcing that it was about her and her emotional wellbeing, not about one guy with a saviour complex. Being able to go around without everyone cringing at the sight of you just feels really good.
What's precedent ever done for us?at this point, I'm wondering if the existence of yokai is an Unusually Uninteresting Sight for everyone or is it supposed to be that like human greed and avarice overtake any kind of rationality and disbelief as they want their desires to be instantly granted
Dream episode: If the cat one was the Mother's Day episode, this one was the Father's Day episode. And then there's the Traitor Shot of the drowned girl. Hmm.
Facestealer: I'm thinking the last shot Is Kirara's fantasy, given the adult form version and then the child version showing up.
Lies Episode: Jerk with a Heart of Gold and a softer side to Neko-Musume.

Yokai school: For once Nezumi-Otoko is not the worst person in the room. And more on our Big Bad!
I find it interesting how well the yokai adapted to being good teachers.
Last week's episode was Mana-centric with the Aesop Evil Is Not a Toy and Nanashi being exceptionally creepy.
This week, a couple of people need to learn about informed consent.
And next week, we get an invasion plotline.
The Great Yokai War begins with Debate and Switch, and some changeups in the usual lineup for the Western monsters.
The Great Yokai War continues: Wolfgang's way more powerful under a full moon, Victor Frankenstein is a Composite Character, and Carmilla is still a lesbian.

At least he’s a lot more passive than Ratman. And more hygienic. And less of a boundless fountain of terrible ideas.
What's precedent ever done for us?
