Sorry about any misunderstanding. TV Tropes actually hosted our team one year a few years back, and a number of our members are current or former tropers, so I figured I'd re-mention it here.
Sadly I don't think anyone's jumped on board from my posting this.

The annual MIT Mystery Hunt, which takes place every January, is this coming weekend, from noon on Friday January 12 to 10 AM on Monday January 15 (eastern US time).
I'm on a team that has been participating in the Hunt for several years now, and several of our members are current or former tropers ourselves, and we always welcome new members, so if you like to solve puzzles or identify trivia or stuff like that, do please come join us! ...which basically just means hanging out on our Slack server (it's a chat thing kinda like Discord) over the weekend. You don't have to be there the entire weekend, obviously; you can come and go as you please.
We do other puzzlehunts during the rest of the year, but this one is the biggest one of them all. If you're not familiar with the Mystery Hunt, click the link up top for the TVT page on it.
