Filthy Frank was...something, I'll say that much. While I'm a bit bummed that Joji's retiring the character (and by extension, this entire universe and the comedy in general), I'm happy that he's able to focus on something new that still makes him happy somehow. And TBH, some of his new music is really lit.
Oh come on! Nobody skewered clueless weebs like this guy, and now he's bowing out? That's sad.
"what the complete, unabridged, 4k ultra HD fuck with bonus features" - Mark Von LewisIf the character was taking a toll on his throat (and evidently psychology as well) then I'm glad to hear he's retiring Filthy Frank, though I will miss the skits. Few have mastered Refuge in Audacity so eloquently as he.
Hope the music career as Joji goes well! He's got a good singing voice to be sure.

That explains a lot. You can't scream forever. Unless you already have a voice like Noah Taylor, then you don't have to scream.

Now that he officially quit the channel, unless he transforms his channel to be oriented towards his new profession, we aren't going to be seeing more content on his channel again, at least the comedic ones.
Kinda bitter sweet to me. The guy used to do the Harlem Shake and now he has grown up and made a new identity for himself. Seeing him evolve like this really makes me wonder how other youtubers will change in the future.
Going to miss his collaborations with other youtubers like Idubbbz and Max Moe Foe. He really seemed like the center piece of youtube culture.
