Another one? Have we not learned anything from The Tall Man and Kaka Pee Pee Man (because the officialy name Bye Bye Man is too silly), now we are doing an actual Slenderman movie?
Well it couldn’t be that bad . . . the guy who directed Stomp the Yard is doing this film. Yeah my confidence in this movie doing good has dropped. Not to mention he also directed The Losers, aka Ateam Lite.
Sooo, I don’t think this film will be good in the end especially seeing how the whole Creepypasta fad have died out as of lately.
Y’know, this actually makes me more confident in my take of Slenderman who is basically an agent for a SCP/SHIELD agency who actually monitors the people with omega level powers and whose personality and motives are a cross between Phantom Stranger and Dale Cooper. Speaking of the former, I would of love to see a live action Phantom Stranger movie.
I imagine this the film will involve lots of Found Footage,a lot like The Blair Witch Project
Aaand here it is,the trailer

have a listen and have a link to my discord serverThat looks... OK? I can't conclude anything from it except that I don't want to get stabbed in the eyes like that.
Visit my Tumblr! I may say things. The Bureau ProjectOkay I legitimately cannot tell if I like or dislike that trailer. On the one hand it did kinda creep me out (but of course anything with somebody gouging their own eye out will do that). On the other hand I also felt like it might have been trying too hard to be creepy.
Have you any dreams you'd like to sell?...yeah, am I the only person who thinks this movie is in incredibly poor taste? Maybe it’s just because of what happened in my hometown...
🤦♂️
I feel like, after Logan Paul thing, this is a bad time for a Slender Man film to come out. I don't know if there'd really be a good time either given the myth became associated with an actual murder.
That said, if horror movies represent what society is currently afraid of then an all-white, black-suited monster man hunting down a young woman in the forest with likely few, if anybody believing her?
his might be the perfect time for a Slender Man film to hit all of the right buttons. The woman walking towards the cops at the end...if you didn't know what this movie was called and this wasn't a supernatural horror film, what would you assume happened to her?

I'M MR. MEESEEKS, LOOK AT ME!Seriously.
Fuck those girls.
Well, not in that way.
But at least the trailer seems to be competently shot. Did a good idea of Nothing Is Scarier too, aside from the last little bit.
Slender will be a physical entity that stalks the heroes until they shoot it with a machine gun
have a listen and have a link to my discord serverAttempted murder, unless there was another I don't know about. The victim from the Waukesha attack is recovered and back in school, thankfully. Last I heard, the attackers have been sentenced to time in a mental institution. Especially hurtful, since my sister went to the same Middle School as these girls. Same class, even. Took Science with the victim.

"Life isn't a fairytale. There isn't always a 'Happily Ever After' waiting for you at the end of the road." ~ Isengrim Heath-Stalker

I'm going to preface this by saying that this is the legitimate, official Slender Man movie. This isn't some random internet film made about Slender Man, this is an actual theatrical release based off of the internet character. The film comes out May 18, 2018 and will be directed by Sylvain White (director of Stomp The Yard) and star Jaz Sinclair and Joey King.

Here's a link to some info for the movie and the film's poster, the trailer drops sometime tomorrow. For some reason this article is reporting that Slender Man's creator had a hand in the script but I'm not finding any info on that. I'm...decidedly mixed on this. Slender Man's popularity hasn't exactly been high in recent years, so I'm worried it'll be a case of being released too late or something.
