I like the current but I do think the speech bubble should be edited to be more clearer
What issue is it from? I could probably do a quality-swap without resorting to editing.
I can read the speech bubble. I don't think that's a problem.
If I was to tweak the existing poster, I'd make it a touch brighter (or maybe make everything that's not Dark Enerjak a touch brighter).
Again, if you give me which issue it is, I could probably find it.
Keep Enerjak one.
I do not know which issue it is. Sorry.
I'll look it up.
Edit: Looks like Sonic Universe issues 25 to 28. Hope that helps.

Well, here's the full page so anyone could make a wide or narrow crop as they see fit.◊ As for me, I think I'll go for whatever neither decreases nor increases the size from the original scan, but only crops it.
Definitely brighter, but cuts off a lot of the stuff behind him.
That's why I linked to the full page; I'm not sure how wide or narrow a crop people wanted, so I figured I'd provide something from which others could crop it themselves.
But if need be, I could provide one example of a wider crop.
I think the same cropping that is currently on the page will work, as it shows everyone behind Enerjak. I can, however, see it is a little fuzzy.
There's a tradeoff there in that the text becomes less legible.
That is true. Hard to read.
If we can't use the text in the speech bubble, we CAN use it in the image caption.
Still kind of dilutes the intensity of the image, though. "Oh by the way, here's what the character was saying" doesn't quite have the same ring to it.
Anyone else want to weigh in on this?
Not really. We need to come to a decision, soon
I'm thinking either the narrowest crop or second-narrowest crop. I don't exactly like the text illegibility in the wide crop.
I feel like the attempts at replacement crops are worse than the current pic. I dunno, maybe I misspoke when I said the pic needed to be brighter; the point was to make the bodies on the wall easier to see, and I feel like these new crops make them harder to see by making them blurrier.
The first two are less pixelated-looking than the current pic, though. And the first one in particular doesn't resize the scan at all; just crops it.

To be blunt, I don't think we should be changing the pic at this time. I think it's lock time.
I found a better quality version of the overall pic and made a crop that's pretty close to the old pic. I've swapped it in and since the consensus is to keep the overall pic, the thread's going away.
The current is fine.
