Reason for the delay.
“The latest X-Men installment “Dark Phoenix” is also leaving its original premiere date behind in favor of an early summer release June 7. The premiere shift is also part of an effort to capitalize on Chinese viewers, following a strong response to its trailer this week.”
It’s not the exact same. The leak one had more shots of Scott, Jean flying up a building shattering glass, and it ends with a shot of Jean with Flaming Hair. And the song is a different version of the one used in the official trailer.

After rereading the Phoenix arc, could this be who Jessica is playing
? Would fit your description and rumors.
....god dang, I've only now just realized that I've actually watched every single X-Men movie. X-Men 1 through 3, and Origins Wolverine, through ABC family. First Class, The Wolverine, Days of Future Past all online online, Apocalypse rented from the library on Blu-Ray, and saw Logan in theaters.
Guess I'm in for a penny as well.
What have I been doing with my life.

I'M MR. MEESEEKS, LOOK AT ME!Well. Out of all of them, I've only totally seen Days of Future Past and the Deadpool movies.
...Guess I lucked out. Could it be I have this sort of sixth sense that clued me in to the "meh" nature of the X-Men movies by Fox?
I have fond memories of the fight between Wolverine and Lady Deathstrike, Wolverine resisting disintegration by the Phoenix, Wolverine trying and failing to save Charles from Jean, Magneto flinging Wolverine out of a football stadium, Wolverine and Sabretooth charging onto a beachfront, Logan doing his classic tackle in Logan, the train fight from The Wolv...
....hmm.
I'M MR. MEESEEKS, LOOK AT ME!It's a "Seinfeld" Is Unfunny situation.
I always liked the Nightcrawler-in-the-White-House scene, myself.
