Personal experience: I've heard of Mili a few years ago from the game, "Deemo", from the song "nine point eight". Then on I discovered how diverse their sound is, not in the genre sense. Although looking at their lyrics, I have to say at some points they are straight up badly written or just forced. The song "Utopiasphere" is just filled with made-up words, and "Space colony" has gibberish that means nothing at the end. For that reason, their album doesn't really feel like anything beyond compilations; hell, listening to their music stream gives the same experience since their albums often lack concept. But individually, they are beautiful pieces of work. While lyrical delivery is awkward sometimes, a flaw that comes from the fact that the band has some hiccups in translation, the surface listening to the song is great and the story they invoke is great.
