Thread for the original movie is here
, which has already started discussion on this film.
Was listening to Entertainment Weekly Sirius radio and the had an interview with James Franco on this film. He was fairly candid about Wiseau changing the intent of the film, but he was also impressed by how the book explored the way the movie helped Wiseau deal with his depression. Whatever you may think of the quality of some films, there is a group of people who put everything into it.
What's really funny is that film Wiseau is far better looking than the real one.
It took him 3 hours to say “Oh hi Mark” in a six second scene, with a script he wrote, playing a transparent Author Avatar. It would be awful again.

Oh, hai, TV Tropes. The movie about The Room has a 95% Rotten Tomatoes score
. Kinda ironic, eh? Ok, I go now, bye bye.
