Oh, hai, TV Tropes. The movie about The Room has a 95% Rotten Tomatoes score. Kinda ironic, eh? Ok, I go now, bye bye.

Thread for the original movie is here, which has already started discussion on this film.

Was listening to Entertainment Weekly Sirius radio and the had an interview with James Franco on this film. He was fairly candid about Wiseau changing the intent of the film, but he was also impressed by how the book explored the way the movie helped Wiseau deal with his depression. Whatever you may think of the quality of some films, there is a group of people who put everything into it.

I swear if Wiseau has directed an Oscar winner it’d never have gotten the attention this movie did.

So here's a thhought: what if Wiseau was played by Wiseau. Would a bad actor playing a bad actor cancel each other out and create an amazing performance.

It took him 3 hours to say “Oh hi Mark” in a six second scene, with a script he wrote, playing a transparent Author Avatar. It would be awful again.

About what I said earlier: I just heard that whenever Wiseau tries to reenact scenes from the movie he tries to make it unironically funny which ends up ruining the experience. So never mind

Easily one of the best films I've seen all year. Right up thier with Dunkirk and Logan.
