Personally, I'm sick and tired of remakes. Initially I thought this current preponderance of remakes (by Disney and everybody else) was because there are no scriptwriters out there with any new ideas.
But then I realized that the television and movie studios simply weren't interested in buying any new ideas, especially from some writer who wasn't already firmly established. The Suits (network/studio executives) only care about maximum profits, so they avoid all risks by giving the audience something comfortably familiar, but also New & Improved! (Or so the promotional ads claim.)

This Space Intentionally Left Blank.Well, one Disney remake I'd actually like to see is The Black Cauldron since it's already pretty obscure (and it's already divisive among those who have seen it).
Oh, I believe in yesterdaySooner or later, they will remake Anastasia since they bought the rights to Fox Entertainment years prior.
I'd rather see the live action remake trend die off tbh
FC: SW-1445-0294-1719/PSN: TekkenGirl4Lyfe/Currently playing: Croc: Legend of the Gobbos HDi will not die unless i see what a live action Cars movie will look like
"...This is too much information for a brain that just wants to visit Planet Tensuns..."A live-action Zootopia would be so stupid. Oops, hope I didn't jinx us.

Oh, I believe in yesterdayWho knows? At this point, they might even remake The Nightmare Before Christmas.
Oh, I believe in yesterday@Reiko: I made a friend of mine laugh when I told him that before you know it, Disney will start making live action remakes of the live action remakes.

So awhile ago I joked after remaking the Junglebook that they would make a live action Lion King, and low and behold they eventually did announce plans
for such a remake
Since they're making a live action Dumbo film of all things it seems like anything is possible
