For the balloon game, I fully expect:
- Most will find clever, if a bit standard, hiding spots.
- Some will leave the balloon right near the starting point.
- Speed runners using the 30 second limit to the absolute extreme
- Bullshit glitch spots
I already have an idea of a hiding spot for New Donk City, assuming the doors are closed during the game.
We are all made of star stuff. Very, very weird star stuff.Maybe Nintendo can patch out some glitches, but no way they can get everything. All sorts of interesting possibilities for trolling, this mode.
Visit my Tumblr! I may say things. The Bureau ProjectAmazing game. Only 2 Moons left besides buying my way to 999.
(For the record, they are 100 Jump Rope (of course) and a secret level on the Dark Side.)
100 Jump Rope's actually not that hard if you listen for the music to cue you when to jump rather than trying to gauge visually.
My Tumblr. Currently liveblogging Haruhi Suzumiya and revisiting Danganronpa V3.You mean when she says "Hey!"? I've tried that.
I've also tried the "Talk to Talkatoo and get the screen to freeze while Mario is in the air" glitch but I can never get Mario to freeze in the air. The screen still freezes, though.
The other moon I have left is Vanishing Road Challenge.

So I was just listening to the song "Break Free! (Lead the Way)" and I have to ask: does anyone else here hear the Bowser battle music from Super Mario 64 around the 0:59 mark?
Yeah, in the same way that Jump Up Superstar incorporated the Donkey Kong theme, Break Free Lead the Way) uses Bowser's theme.
At Bowser's Kingdom. Looking forward to seeing what the end is like. Heard a lot about it-some things that made me groan-but I think it'll at least be funny.
Bowser's Kingdom is by far my favorite part of the game, and not just because it's the part that most resembles Galaxy and 3D World. The Pokio capture is so great, I bet you could built a whole other game around it.
Is that a Wocket in your pocket, or are you just happy to see me?Luigi's Balloon World DLC is out now!
"We're all paper, we're all scissors, we're all fightin' with our mirrors, scared we'll never find somebody to love."Decided to announce this here since it hasn't been officially announced yet, but three new camera filters have been uncovered from datamining, including sketch, mirror, and mosaic.
Now I'm curious about something; Which camera filters that aren't in the game yet would you guys like to see be put in?
The storm has now resided, the wolf now rests.PURPLE
"Have a good day. Have a good week. Have a good month. Have a good year. Have a good life." ~CiviaAn early look at the unreleased outfits.
The storm has now resided, the wolf now rests. So, I don't know if this is a known exploit, but I may have discovered something really cheesy to make the Broodal boss rush on the Dark Side of the moon much easier. Turns out that you can fast travel back to the Odyssey and heal between Broodal battles and they won't reset.
So, having been away almost a year, I decided to take advantage of my day off from work to finally finish SMO (left off at the moon cathedral).
Ugh... Not exactly like riding a bicycle.
My jump timing is all kinds of off (which really sucks for the flame sweep attack), and I can't even keep traveling in a straight line, using the joycons without the mounting thingy so I can take advantage of the motion controls.
All your safe space are belong to TrumpHuh. I just reached the Moon Cathedral myself. Currently trying to get that one Star (oh wait, they're moons now) just as the start (where you have to use the low gravity to jump to it), but I keep botching the timing of the jump.
Anyway, it's been a fun ride. I still have a lot to do as well as I haven't actually beaten Bowser yet. I plan to get the rest of the power stars (or whatever they're called) in the post game too.
One Strip! One Strip!Have fun with that. It's worth noting that the All Unique Moons speedrun of Odyssey is more than twice as long as the Darker Side run despite Darker Side requiring you get more than half the total moons.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!...
So should I try and get the rest of them before I finish the game then?
Cause what you just described sounds kinda tough.
One Strip! One Strip! Most of that time will be spent jumping ropes and playing volleyball.
Your preferences are not everyone else's preferences.I have all the Moons in the game except for the final ones for Volleyball and Jumprope, a couple of the Dark Side Moons that are just too brutal (you can probably think of which ones), and Darker Side, and I've pretty much given up on all of those for now.
I 100%'d (more or less) the game ages ago. AUM, bought enough to get me to 999, and I even grinded for hours in order to purchase every single costume (well, before they added a couple more).
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book! That was the other downside of not playing for almost a year: Having to "A" through all those new content notices to get to the actual game.
All your safe space are belong to TrumpBah. Doing poorly on the underground section on the way to the church.
My timing is so bad on the moving platforms, or I mistakenly press the wrong button while in a rush. Fortunately money is plentiful, but I can't help but be worried I'll botch it so many times I kill myself.
And it's not like I can leave a new level while I'm there and maybe pick up some more cash.
I probably shouldn't worry. I got over 4400, but sometimes I play so badly I can't help but worry I'll still find a way to botch it.
One Strip! One Strip!@PMC Did you try the Player Two trick for volley ball?
That's how I did it, it makes it very very easy.
I'm mostly finished with the game myself. I went back at the end of last year and got most of the moons I was missing. Aside from the Dark/Darker side.
I think I'm at about 90%+, but I don't think I'll go back again to try for 100%.
At least not on this save file.
"But if that happened, Melia might actually be happy. We can't have that." - Handsome Rob
I also expect supremely unfair locations that require glitches.
This song needs more love.
