For what it's worth Casting Gag currently has 578
wicks in the trivia namespace.

I started going through that Trivia list alphabetically (I think moving the examples to the main work page takes priority). The first three wicks now seem to be acceptable potholes. Alvin and the Chipmunks had a lot of jumping around to verify I had gotten all the trivia examples moved to the main work pages. I didn't do much to verify examples, but I tried to expand the context available.

Thanks, cs, yes I agree that moving to main page should be first - it also means people familiar with the franchise will more likely see the examples and can fix them themselves

Perhaps rename Actor Allusion to “Actor Allusion (To Another Role)” and rename Casting Gag to “Actor Allusion (To Real Life)”.

Maintenance?
Considering the scale and complexity of this page action, as well as the current backlog at TRS, I think a Short-Term Projects thread could be warranted for the wicks. The on-page examples can be sorted in a sandbox; it's at Sandbox.Casting Gag Example Sorting.

Yeah, maybe. Especially since there are over 6000 wicks to Actor Allusion, a large chunk of which still need to be changed to Casting Gag. Hey, nobody ever said it was going to be easy.
