I could take it or leave it. I've always been more of a Chick-fil-A and Popeye's person TBH.
Theatre Currently Reading: N/A
Does Oh, Hello count? I mean, it's been a long while since I've seen it (and probably time it'll be relevant for any of my posts), but I did enjoy it. I also know that Bottom and The Mighty Boosh do have live performances - which may count as theatre....
But to set the point straight, I'm not much into theatre. I like the grandiose stuff, but I wouldn't like to be classified as a "theatre kid" (despite my taste proving otherwise...)
Concept albums / Albums with narratives / Rock Opera
You're probably wondering why I'm still here.Of course I love them. I wouldn't be a fan of Prog Rock, much less Pink Floyd, if I didn't.
Ralph Bakshi Orcus on His Throne will always be my pet peeve.
I actually found some of my favorite artists through this site! The curation and excellent tagging system makes it easy to look for specific fanart. There's also a small community of translators who use its Notes system to soft-translate comics. Best of all: mandatory sourcing means I can easily find the original artist's page and support them instead of the random user who reuploads their work.
Shame about the membership restriction, though. I was considering dropping $20 to get Gold because I use the site so much and the search limit has been grating for years, but Payment Processors said no. Nowadays you can only get it through a community raffle encouraging users to reupload images there, which I'm pretty sure is a ploy to collect data for AI training.
Short-form video content

Nothing seems to have changed. But perhaps one day it will.I liked it since I started watching Looney Tunes as a kid. I technically call short-form videos short films as a result.
Here's looking at you, kid.Looks nice, but I doubt I'll ever be able to afford a flight to that country.
Hero Factory "An elegant weapon for a more civilized time, eh? Well, guess what? Times have changed!"

It's one of the things that I would be into as a kid. I figured this out because I sat for a thirteen hour long video explaining every single bit of Bionicle lore
over several sessions spanning days, and walked away with an itch to buy a Bionicle set. Unfortunately, the ones that are still available are marked up to high heavens, and at that price point I'd rather buy a Master Grade Gunpla kit.
It's genuinely fascinating that the creative team can tell a story in this way, though. Even experiencing it from a secondary source does not take away the mythical quality of the narrative (though it also speaks of Ben Saint's skill and perseverance as a creator).
