There was an RPG that came out somewhat recently that follows this very, trope Small Saga. If you guys like a mixture of Redwall meets Berserk, might be a look into.

Dramatic Irony Cosmic Horror is basically Red's more academic sounding name for Humans Are Cthulhu. I think she's kept the scope a little narrow on this episode, this might be reading the title too literally but stuff like Bambi play with this trope and the characters there aren't all that small. Still she did a fantastic job of articulating why Humans Are Cthulhu works really well, at least to me.

R.O.B.? The robot based on the NES robot buddy peripheral? R.O.B. got a tragic backstory? R.O.B. got a backstory?
Fresh-eyed movie blogYes. Tabuu forced all the ROB's to bomb the world so it could be part of Subspace, and the main ROB became the supplier of the bombs as the Ancient Minister. He begrudgingly went along with the plan until Ganondorf, seeing an opportunity to take out a good chunk of the opposing fighters, forced them to bomb the place they were in. ROB tried to stop it but he was unsuccessful. By the end, the only remaining ROB was himself.

Nice to see the Deptford Mice books get a shout-out in that video. I read those dark fantasy books when I was younger and really enjoyed them. It's one of those "How did they get away with this in a kids' book?" stories.
Do be warned that Red does drop a fairly major spoiler of the first book if you ever plan on reading the books blind.
