I missed the big burly shirtless lumberjack villagers.

Princess Aurora is underrated, pass it on.http://awkwardzombie.com/index.php?page=0&comic=051313
Very helpful indeed.
Also have there been any news since two years ago?

But some old guy says this to them and suddenly a life of them endlessly toiling for you and obeying your every command immediately isn't good enough for them, so they do that for your enemy instead.
...and no, sorry.
Talk about dedicated. XD
Princess Aurora is underrated, pass it on.OK AFTER 2 YEARS...THERE'S STILL NO MORE NEWS, but there will be news before 3 years, apparently.
Well, that's not very encouraging.
Wikipedia says there may be more news later this year, though.
Also, a news article: Age of Empires 4 is 'making good progress', and Microsoft will talk about it later this year
Well, THAT sounds more promising.

Optimism is a duty.Wait what
It's to be a xBox title???
Say to the others who did not follow through You're still our brothers, and we will fight for youConsidering what's coming and Microsoft has been doing: Xbox One, Xbox Scarlett, Game Pass, Windows Store, and Steam.
"We're all paper, we're all scissors, we're all fightin' with our mirrors, scared we'll never find somebody to love."So we're back to medieval times, huh? Wonder what they're going to make different from Ao E 2.
The armies look bigger, at least.

Yeah, I assume this would be mainly a PC game.
Looks great so far. Modern yet very nostalgic as well.
Optimism is a duty.Assuming it's not just for the cutscene, formations seem to play a role, which AOE 2 didn't really have.
Also seems Units can now walk on walls and presumably travel between garrisoned buildings.
Actually, it just means units' cheering after all of the enemy are dead which is usually immediately canceled by ordering them again is going to return from AoE3.
On that note, here is the franchise's creative director insisting the trailer's content was indeed true to actual gameplay.

I somehow have my doubt the one unit cheering making all the other unit cheers before the battle is a game mechanic. :-P
HERO UNITS CONFIRMED
Probably not, even AoE3's explorers wouldn't be what most people would give the label for. They were really just scouts with extra steps.

And a massive power boost. They could also construct trade sites and collect treasures. I personally found them to be massively helpful in getting a leg up. They often made the difference between being swamped in the early game and having enough resources to invest in both defense and expansion.
Say to the others who did not follow through You're still our brothers, and we will fight for youThey are also immortal and can be revived after losing all their health.
Optimism is a duty.My favorite unit probably would be the hot air balloon. I'll be sad to see them go

Say to the others who did not follow through You're still our brothers, and we will fight for youDidn't we technically already have heroes in III a la "explorer" type units? Anyway shame they didn't go forward after colonization.
Death is a companion. We should cherish Death as we cherish Life. That's what everyone else was saying while I was calling them more scouts with extra steps. I meant that they weren't really fighters as you'd expect from the label, I wasn't trying to really call them "so unimportant, not Hero Units and our page for the trope lies"

The obvious to look towards are the Heroes of Age of Mythology. Especially the Greek's.
"Notch had clout at the time."
Not really. He was the face of Minecraft, but he didn't have that much in the actual community. (See: Psychonauts 2).
A lot of people didn't want to deal with him, as his later... um... actions proved.
