Here's the place to inquire about pages whose images aren't potholed to anything. Note that the source might also be in the caption, a commented-out note, linked in any previous threads, or specified on an Image Source subindex, so please check these before posting here.
Google Image Search, Tineye
, and SauceNAO
are good resources.
Images Without a Source lists the pages that have been discussed in this thread but haven't been sourced yet. Once a source is found for an image, please add it to the appropriate Image Source pagenote and remove it from Images Without a Source.
About Images and Copyright covers our general policies about image use; see here for more details and Image Pickin' forum policies
. It's always a good idea to link images to their original versions and (when available) providing a link to the artist's site when they are located, especially if we're given permission to use an image.note
- Area 51 — mainly text, easy enough to do an alternate version.
- Blood Oath — clipart with text over a generic scroll.
- Broken Heel — clipart shoe.
- Editorial Synaesthesia — generic warning sign.
- Minsky Pickup — specific musical notation.
- Political Correctness Gone Mad — clipart wreath with text.
- Sequence Breaking — clipart maze.
- Themed Cursor — the image and the cursors are all awful, could be replaced with a screenshot.
- Villainous Demotivator — clipart skull plus text.
Edit: Black Box, Blown Across the Room, Double Jump, The End, Friday Night Death Slot, Lies, Damned Lies, and Statistics, Horny Vikings, Rump Roast, Stock Femur Bone, Surprise Slide Staircase, Treasure Map, and Visible Silence have been replaced.

Looking at the more info on a similar image on this page:

The shot may be from an episode of Series.Angel.
Where is the pic for Cryo-Prison from? It seems to be from either a cutscene from a 2000s-era Batman video game or a fan animation.
Do not mess with creatures which you do not understand. It's from Batman And Robin, a PS1 tie-in game. (Remember to check Image Source next time.)
I've updated the pothole and image source page for Magical Database
"Home Alone" Antics is potholed to the film, but TBH it kinda looks like fan art. What is the source? If it is the movie, I’ll need to grab an upgrade from it.
You’re Gonna Carry That Weight.
Assuming from this link
,
I think that's the battle plan presented in the movie, just in a very aged state.
Do we know WHICH episode of Tenchi Milo the image for Lightning Glare came from? I’m trying to upgrade.
It's on the Image Source page (ImageSource.Paintings). It's the painting The Red Beret (Dog) by Dan Craig.
I've been trying to track down the original of Flat World's page image, but the image links entry doesn't provide a source and Google's reverse image search hasn't turned up anything either — it seems to be one of those images that have floating around the web uncredited for years, so actually working out the source has been a tremendous headache. I'm not even certain if it's public domain or copyrighted.
It's not on Wikimedia's list of Flat Earth
images, at least.
(Somewhat ironically, it was chosen in an older IP thread that replaced the original image on the basis of it not being free-to-use.)
See the caption here
- it’s from a century-old Swedish magazine, and is already listed on ImageSource.Magazines.
Does anyone know where the image from Infinity +1 Sword comes from? For such a linked-to article (currently has 4104 links right now), you'd think someone would know, but no.
The image source says that it's troper-made, but it doesn't name who made it.
Re: the image that was selected for Backwater Banjo TLP
, which specific instalment of Tiny Toon Adventures is it actually from?
ImageSource.Looney Tunes includes specific episodes, so when it comes time to crosswick, it'd be good to have that noted.
It'll be one of these three, I am reasonably certain:

I suppose, by the transitive property, I too must be "Vulcan as a Motherfucker."[1]

Magical Database is from the Buffy series specifically ?
