That resume update is fake, the person has gone on record saying he doesnt even have an account with that site.

Although I wouldn't be surprised if the game IS in development already. These things take half a decade these days.
IV was released in 2008, and V in 2013. Even though Online is still making them money, I think at this point it is very likely VI is in the making.
Hope shines brightest in the darkest timesWhat do I want in GTA?
It's hard to say, since they already have an lot of fun stuff in it. Like grenades, car bombs, the ability to do an drive by with an pistol instead of just using the SMG, molotovs, RP Gs, miniguns, free shotguns (seriously, just hop in an police car), and domestic terrorism.
Is the flamethrower still shit in 4 and 5? Because in Chinatown Wars and Liberty City Stories, I felt that it was an waste of space when you're carrying all of these guns and nothing that's useful against vehicles, like the bazooka.
Answer no master, never the slave Carry your dreams down into the grave Every heart, like every soul, equal to breakIt was the reward from completing the firefighter missions in that game, and could be bought from the third island's gun shop. Besides, there were a couple of free pickups, the earliest one accesible by jumping from the train tracks over the first island at a specific spot
.
If VI were to happen, it should be set in Vice City seeing as how we've not seen the HD universe's equivalent of it(for those who don't know, there are 3 GTA universes. The first is the 2D Universe which has GTA 1, the two London expansion packs, and GTA 2. The second one is the 3D Universe which has GTA 3, Vice City, Advance, San Andreas, Liberty City Stories, and Vice City Stories. The third is the HD universe, which has GTA IV, The Lost and the Damned, Chinatown Wars, The Ballad of Gay Tony, GTA V, and Online)

AAAAUUUUGGGHHHH!!!!I genuinely hope they keep a lot of the mechanics used in Online. Free-Roam activities, purchasable properties with buy-sell missions, a mechanic that delivers your personal vehicles to and from you, from and to your garage/hangar/bunker/facility...
Make the Heists a LOT more difficult, and require a considerable amount of prep, and pay out a lot more. Then, you pay for most of your stuff flipping black market stuff from your properties.
Say to the others who did not follow through You're still our brothers, and we will fight for youGames sleuth Youtuber predicts GTA VI to be announced quite soon, as Rockstar has run out of number of times they can submit an unacceptable logo design to the Trademarks office. Once the office begins slapping them with penalties, they'll have to announce the game in order to control the hype for it. Otherwise, it'll all be dataminers and folks of that ilk who leak all this info.
Ugh, Skullzi. I'm not gonna dispute this info, but that guy is so full of himself. Rarely fact-checks, either — bit off-topic, but he recently got a lot of well-deserved flak for making this big, huge video about an "Exclusive leaked Starfield trailer!" he was sent, when five minutes of google searching by his more critical viewers revealed it was a years-old indie sci-fi short film.

This
seems to be the trademark in question. There is also this
one. I can't really decipher all the legalese, though, but it seems like the latter is a recent extension of a 10-year trademark, and the former seems to be the trademark described in the video above.
There's some news stories going around speculating that GTA VI will likely only come out for the next generation of consoles, so no X Bone release.
Also, with the continued sales topping success of V, it seems unlikely we will see a sequel anytime soon.
Hope shines brightest in the darkest timesI feel bad for IV at this point. Not only was it not as successful as it's predecessor or it's successor, nor as fondly remembered by most people in hindsight, but everything it was a test bed for is now being used to put major brakes on the franchise for the sake of money. That game was great, it deserved better.
So is V, really. It's just that it is making so much money that the studio is in no hurry to move on.
I mean, really, it's, what, six years old now? And you can still find retail copies filling the shelves at stores that sell games. GTA V for PS 4 is still going for 54 Euros (Xbone is 30, don't ask me why) at at least one store.
Hope shines brightest in the darkest timesYes, it was released today. Some say it's to prepare for their release of RDR 2 for PC. Also the offer for a free copy of GTA San Andreas if you downloaded the Rockstar Launcher is for a limited time.
I wonder if I can still open and play San Andreas without opening the Rockstar Launcher? I was able to play Fallout Shelter without the Bethesda Launcher.

Looks like it's in development, folks.
Of course, I'm guessing release will be sometime in 2019, but indications are that if true, development has been going on for a while.
So, what would you like to see in VI? If Red Dead Dedemption 2 is supposed to be 3 times bigger than RDR, how big do you think VI will be?
